Abstract

This research aims to analyze the concept of evaluating the application of equality education and the results of the evaluation of the application of equality education at the Salafiyah Tahfidzul Qur'an Ahlus Shuffah Balikpapan Islamic Boarding School. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a context, input, process, and product (CIPP) analysis model. The research results show that the results of the context analysis evaluation support the implementation of equality programs, but there are still limitations. Evaluation of input analysis in the form of students coming from outside the region, which is considered diverse, the availability of tutors, infrastructure is sufficient, and textbooks are still limited to teacher handbooks. Evaluation of process analysis where the availability of various activities is an advantage at PKPPS Tahfidzul Qur'an Ahlus Shuffah. Learning has maximized the use of existing infrastructure. The product analysis evaluation is reflected in the graduate data from Pondok Tahfidzul Qur'an Ahlus Shuffah Balikpapan, which has not yet been updated, but from the information obtained, 100% of the students were able to complete the program well. As for the output of the graduates, they have worked, teach, and some have even become lecturers at universities. It is hoped that this evaluation can provide valuable input for the development of equality programs among Islamic boarding schools, especially in East Kalimantan.

Abstract

Administration of the Islamic education curriculum is something that has an important role in achieving educational goals. The aim of this research is to describe the administration of the Islamic education curriculum at SD Al-Ittihadiyah Laut Dendang. The administration of the Islamic education curriculum at Al-Ittihadiyah Laut Dendang Elementary School includes learning aspects that are well covered and recorded, starting from monitoring, student attendance and attendance, monthly class reporting to identify student needs to evaluating grades to measure the academic progress of students at Al-Ittihadiyah Laut Dendang Elementary School. Priority on effective administration provides a strong foundation for improving the quality of learning. The curriculum not only provides direction for the learning process, but also creates a foundation for the formation of students' character and spiritual values. Effective administration in managing the curriculum ensures that all aspects of learning are covered well, from the development of students' psychomotor aspects to parent participation in supporting school programs. Implementation of the Islamic education curriculum at Al-Ittihadiyah Laut Dendang Elementary School by emphasizing integration of Tahfizh subjects, development of students' psychomotor aspects, parent participation, and flexibility in implementing the curriculum.

Abstract

Effective assessment in learning is a key element in determining the success of educational goals. This study aims to explore more deeply the development of Islamic Religious Education assessment instruments. This study uses a library research approach, meaning that researchers only deal directly with sources available in the library such as articles, books and others, from these data sources researchers present a deep understanding of the development of Islamic Religious Education assessment instruments. The significance and novelty of the development of Islamic Religious Education assessment instruments emphasizes 1) the integration of socio-spiritual attitudes, knowledge, and skills that were previously more focused on the spiritual dimension alone, now shifting the paradigm of Islamic Religious Education learning from a doctrinal approach to an integrative approach that is relevant to the needs of students in the modern era. 2) Emphasis on the implementation of Islamic values ​​in practice, the application of Islamic teaching values is not just a theoretical understanding but also links Islamic Religious Education learning with critical and applicable thinking skills based on the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith. 3) There is a relationship between character education and Islamic civilization, this strengthens the relevance of learning Islamic Religious Education in the global context and its contribution to building a civilized society.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and identify optimal strategies and challenges faced by Islamic Education teachers in instilling the values ​​of inter-religious tolerance at SMP Negeri 1 Sangatta Selatan. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data was collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The research results show that PAI teachers apply various effective teaching strategies, such as integrating the values ​​of tolerance in teaching materials, class discussions, and interfaith activities. The main challenges faced include stereotypes and prejudices embedded in students' minds, social pressure, and limited resources and teaching materials. Varying school and policy supports demonstrate the need for more consistent and adequate policy standards. Evaluation of the effectiveness of the method used shows a positive impact in increasing students' tolerance attitudes. This research emphasizes the importance of holistic support from various parties, including training and professional development for teachers, provision of supportive teaching materials, and consistent and inclusive policies. With a holistic approach and adequate support, tolerance education can become an integral part of the education system in Indonesia, contributing to the development of a peaceful and harmonious society.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of learning discipline on the learning outcomes of Economics subjects in class X of SMA Negeri 2 Percut Sei Tuan. This type of research is ex post-facto research. The population in this study was all class Data analysis was carried out using the SPSS 23 program which consists of testing data analysis requirements and hypothesis testing. The data analysis requirements used are the normality test and linearity test. Based on the research results, it was concluded that there is a positive and significant influence of learning discipline on learning outcomes in Economics subjects. The contribution of learning discipline to the results of Economics subjects is 79.6% and the remaining 20.4% is contributed by variables other than learning discipline.

Abstract

Radicalism among teenagers is one of the major challenges in maintaining social stability and security in Indonesia. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has an important role in shaping the character and morality of adolescents, which can be a bulwark in preventing the entry of radicalism. This article discusses the role of Islamic Education in preventing radicalism among teenagers, influencing factors, challenges and strategies of Religious Education in combating radicalism among teenagers through the cultivation of moderate Islamic values, such as tolerance, compassion, and peace. With a contextual and relevant teaching approach, as well as the role of teachers as role models, PAI can help adolescents understand the essence of religion that is far from violence and extremism. However, challenges in the implementation of religious education, such as the lack of understanding of moderate Islam and the influence of social media, are factors that need to be addressed. This article also offers practical solutions to strengthen the effectiveness of religious education in preventing radicalism among adolescents, by synergistically involving the roles of families, schools and communities. In the end, religious education must continue to be developed in order to be able to give birth to a young generation that is tolerant, peace-loving, and committed to national unity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' interest in learning Indonesian through the application of content differentiation tailored to the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in the eighth grade at SMP Negeri 7 Tanjungpinang. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles, where data were collected through questionnaires and observations. The results indicate that the application of content differentiation based on local culture successfully improved students' interest and understanding of the taught material. The average interest score of students reached 4.3 for culturally relevant material, showing an increase in motivation (4.1), active engagement (4.0), and understanding of the material (4.2). These findings suggest that the CRT approach can enhance engagement and the relevance of learning, creating a more inclusive learning environment. This study provides important implications for developing a curriculum that is more responsive to students' cultural needs and characteristics, and recommends the implementation of adaptive teaching strategies to achieve better learning outcomes.

Abstract

The obligation to learn the fiqh of prayer is not only carried out by a male who has reached puberty but should be learned from an early age at the age of children. The fact that is often found, is that in carrying out prayers, children of elementary school age and even middle school age still do not understand the fiqh of prayer. The purpose of this study was to find out the concepts and types of learning strategies, learning strategies for practicing fiqh for elementary school-aged children and knowing the problems of learning prayer fiqh for elementary school-aged children at TPA Darus Sakinah Sangatta Utara. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method, and data analysis uses Miles & Huberman data analysis. The results showed that there were many kinds of learning strategies, namely: lecture strategies, discussions, demonstrations, simulations, field experiences, mind mapping, and drama. There are also expository learning strategies, inquiry, problem-based, cooperative, affective, contextual, and thinking skills. The learning strategy for fiqh prayer at TPA Darus Sakinah uses tikrār strategies, demonstrations, and field experiences. The problems are the learning facilities and infrastructure that are less supportive, the age and class level of the students are different, the arrival of the students is not the same, the students are over capacity, and the lack of teachers

Abstract

This study aims to explore the digitalization at SMAN 20 Batam as a “Sekolah Penggerak” (Driving School). This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach. The data were obtained from the official website of SMAN 20 Batam and a YouTube video featuring the principal of SMAN 20 Batam, both of which contain information related to digitalization. The research was conducted from September to October 2024. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation by validating the collected data from the website and YouTube video observations. The data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model. The findings show that digitalization at SMAN 20 Batam, as a “Sekolah Penggerak,” includes, first, the use of the school website to provide information, learning resources, and assessments through various user-friendly features and sub-features accessible to students, teachers, and parents. Second, the school implements the use of Smart Card IDs for attendance and digital library book borrowing. The use of Smart Card IDs for attendance is considered effective and helpful for parents to monitor their children’s school attendance through notifications sent to their mobile phones. The success of digitalization at SMAN 20 Batam is undoubtedly supported by the active role of the school principal

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to test the average difference and the improvement of the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students of Nganguk Elementary School before and after using GEMPAL media in the IPAS subject of natural and artificial appearances. This research uses a quantitative pre-experiment, a one-group pretest-posttest approach. This research will be conducted at Nganguk Elementary School in grade 4, the research subject is 20 students conducted 5 times a meeting. Data collection techniques include interview techniques, observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis used is the quantitative analysis of the normality test, the paired sample t test and the N-Gain test. The results of the first hypothesis test show that students' posttest scores are higher than their pretest scores, as seen from the paired sample t test results obtained, Sig. 0.000 <0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion is that there is an average difference in critical thinking skills before and after the application of GEMPAL media. The second hypothesis of the N-Gain test results of 0.43 shows that there is an increase in students' critical thinking skills after the use of GEMPAL media in a moderate category. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that there is a difference in the average critical thinking skills of students before and after the use of GEMPAL media.
