Abstract

This studys' purpose was to analyze the application of the ATI learning model in improving learning activities and student learning outcomes in Al-Qur'an Hadith subjects. The method used in this research is classroom action research. As the result of the application of the ATI learning model can improve the learning activities of Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Hikmah Sangatta students. Thus could be proven by an increase in the percentage of student learning activities in cycle one by 78%. In the same in the next cycle, there was an increase of 88%. Furthermore, the implementation of the ATI learning model can also improve student achievement in the Qur'an Hadith subjects at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Hikmah Sangatta where student learning completeness has an increase in the percentage in the first cycle of 82.5, as well as in the next cycle, there is an increase of 98%

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the concept of educational technology, the function of ICT in learning, technology-based learning models, and barriers to its implementation. The method used in this research is the library research method. The research results show that educational technology is the application of science to learning to achieve effectiveness and efficiency. Innovative learning using educational technology can help build student character, develop scientific thinking skills, and increase student literacy. Technology-based learning models for instant project-based learning (PjBL), flipped classrooms, and self-organized learning environments (SOLE). Obstacles to its implementation are physical and non-physical obstacles. It is hoped this research will be able to provide a clearer view regarding the use of technology in improving the quality of learning and can assist in decision-making and continuous improvement in the education system.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the application of basic family principles, as well as their impact in shaping family character in the school environment. This research was conducted using qualitative methods. The research location is at Kutim Cemerlang Vocational School. The results of the research show that the basic principles of the family in forming religious character are, for example, habituation, providing motivation, advice and punishment. Applying basic family principles in shaping students' religious character at school is a complex but very important effort. Modelling, habituation, providing motivation, as well as balanced and consistent advice and punishment by parents and teachers, play a key role in forming students' religious character. Furthermore, the impact of applying these principles on students, if we do the application and formation well and not excessively, will have many positive impacts and vice versa, if the application is carried out excessively it will hurt the students. In its implementation, this should not only be done at school, but at home, it should also be implemented routinely and in its implementation, it should not be excessive so that it has a bad impact on the child. This research confirms that harmonious cooperation between families and schools is very important to achieve the expected goals of religious character education

Abstract

Creativity is a very important skill for facing the challenges of the digital era, which continues to develop rapidly. In this 4.0 era, the ability to think creatively becomes increasingly important when facing rapid and complex changes. In this context, the role of teachers becomes very crucial in helping develop children's creative thinking. Innovative teachers can create a learning environment that stimulates children's creativity, thereby helping develop the creative thinking skills needed in the 4.0 era. One of the teacher innovations that can increase children's creative thinking in the 4.0 era is the application of an active and collaborative learning approach. In this approach, teachers encourage students to actively participate in the learning process through discussions, collaborative projects, or problem-based assignments. In this way, children have the opportunity to develop their critical and creative thinking skills, as well as learn to work in teams and share ideas with others. Through this active and collaborative learning approach, teachers are not only sources of knowledge but also facilitators and guides in the learning process

Abstract

School performance is important to create a culture of integrated quality management. The purpose of this research is to analyze and describe the efforts of school principals in managing integrated management. The research method used in this research is qualitative, using a descriptive approach. Collecting data using observation techniques, documentation, observation, and interview techniques. Data analysis used qualitative data analysis with the stages of data collection, data reduction, and conclusion. Based on this research, shows that the performance of UPT SMPN 26 Gresik principals as leaders can create school members who can achieve the goals of the school's vision mission and strategic plans. The performance of the school principal as a leader is: 1) holding socialization of the vision and mission that has been formed, which includes the goals and strategic plans of the school to internal and external customers; 2) reinforcing motivation to educators and educational staff to optimally improve performance with measurable achievements; 3) carry out coaching activities for teachers and school administrative staff with a structural and familial approach so that they contribute positively to the development of school quality; and 4) providing facilities to educators and educational staff to develop themselves through activities, such as training and workshops. Here the principal is expected to be a strong, tough, and professional leader.

Abstract

This research aims to reconceptualize Islamic higher education in the region from Paulo Freire's perspective. The focus is on Paulo Freire's educational philosophy, the portrait of higher education in the region, and its reconstruction. The method used in this research is the library research method. The results showed the Freire's formulation of educational philosophy is that education introduced as the education for the oppres, namely educational system is constructed mutually with the oppressed them selves. The education system used to negate an education system which was oriented towards mastery or dominance. Awareness is the core of  philosophical  process offered by Freire because its human liberation and humanization can only be carried out if individuals or groups in a society are real aware of the reality of themselves and the world around them. Constructively, Islamic higher education in the regions is expected to be able to reorient towards quality aspects that go hand in hand with accessibility, which is a main part of regional government programs in the context of investing in human resources. Furthermore, the higher education curriculum is expected to be able to accommodate contemporary developments through the principles of independent learning on independent campuses by prioritizing the basic principles of humanist education, as in Paulo Freire's educational philosophy.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the motivation and performance of PAI teachers, the role of providing incentives in increasing the motivation and performance of PAI teachers, as well as the supporting and in hibiting factors for increasing the motivation and performance of PAI junior high school teachers in North Sangatta. The method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. The result is that more motivated teachers tend to perform better at carrying out teaching tasks. The role of providing incentives in increasing the motivation and performance of PAI teachers includes a) as a driver of PAI teacher motivation, b) improving the quality of teaching, c) providing support for performance improvement; and d) increasing the quality of Islamic teaching. Meanwhile, in supporting factors for increasing the motivation and performance of PAI teachers include support from school principals and school administration staff; PAI teachers who have access to training and professional development; awards and recognition for teacher achievements; and good relationships between PAI teachers, fellow teachers, and parents of students. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are excessive workload, regarding incentives and a lack of resources.

Abstract

This study aims to find the concepts and types of learning theory, describe the application of learning theory in PAI learning, and analyze the advantages and disadvantages of learning theory in PAI learning. The method applied in this study is a qualitative research method with a type of literature review. The result of this study is the concept of learning theory’s' was a theory that is used in the learning process in the classroom and outside the classroom that begins with designing the proper method. Various learning theories are Behavioristic, Cognitive, Constructivist, and Humanistic. Its application in PAI learning is that behavioristic theory makes it easier for educators and students in learning process. The cognitive theory implementation in PAI learning can also manifest noble character in students by adhering to the base sources of Islamic teachings. The application of constructivist theory in learning can be done through the five senses, experience, and the environment that will give birth to new knowledge constructions. At the same time, this humanistic theory can be used as a role model in PAI learning to humanize humans. Every theory applied in the PAI learning process certainly has advantages and disadvantages. The advantages and disadvantages of each approach in its application in PAI learning allow an educator to use all theories in a lesson, its goal is to complement one theory with other.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of information technology-based learning media, the quality of learning at MAN Kapuas, and the application of information technology-based learning media in improving the quality of learning at MAN Kapuas. This type of research is descriptive-qualitative research. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study were 11 people, consisting of 1 madrasa head, 1 deputy madrasa head for curriculum, 2 class X teachers, 2 class XI teachers, 2 class XII teachers, and 1 student each in his class. The results of the research show that the use of information technology-based learning media to improve the quality of learning at MAN Kapuas is considered successful. The quality of learning at MAN Kapuas increases through the use of information technology-based learning media at MAN Kapuas using the Animiz Animation Maker and Unity 3D applications while having discussions via the Quora application. The application of information technology-based learning media in improving the quality of learning at MAN Kapuas has been carried out well; this can be seen from the students being very motivated when learning using laptop/computer media, projectors/LCDs, internet networks, and speakers. Its use has an important role in improving the quality of student learning, including understanding the material being taught and increasing achievement outside the madrasah in the field of information technology and media applications. This research implies that teachers, in delivering learning material in class, must be clever in choosing the right media. Teachers must have creative and innovative ideas so that the learning atmosphere for students is more enthusiastic and motivated.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and provide an interpretation of the values of nationalism in Islamic boarding schools, the Kiyai's strategy for instilling nationalist values in Islamic boarding schools, and the obstacles to instilling nationalist values in Islamic boarding schools. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a case study type. This research was conducted at the Hidayatullah Balikpapan Islamic Boarding School Foundation. There were 10 informants in this research. The results show that the values instilled include the values of piety, unity, justice, solidarity, responsibility, loyalty, mutual help, peace, tolerance, and historical values. The strategies used to instill nationalist values are education, habituation, and example. The obstacles to instilling values at the Hidayatullah Balikpapan Islamic boarding school are limited resources, funds, and facilities; minimal access to training for teachers to be trained in integrating nationalist values into the curriculum; books about nationalism are still limited; facilities and infrastructure are still limited; and they receive less attention and support from the government. It is hoped that this research will provide benefits in developing nationalist values at the Hidayatullah Balikpapan Islamic Boarding School and also as a guide for Islamic educational institutions and the wider community in understanding nationalist values in the context of multicultural Indonesia
