Jurnal Komunitas Bahasa menerbitkan manuskrip tentang penelitian pengajaran bahasa, sastra, dan linguistik. Jurnal Komunitas Bahasa menampilkan kebaruan penelitian dan signifikansi untuk kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan di salah satu bidang manuskrip yang diterbitkan. Ilmu bahasa; fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis, analisis wacana, psikolinguistik, sosiolinguistik, dan analisis wacana kritis Sastra: studi sastra lokal, sastra Indonesia, sastra anak, studi sastra untuk pendidikan karakter, dan studi sastra lainnya. Linguistik dan Sastra Indonesia: pengembangan kurikulum, metode pembelajaran, materi pembelajaran, media pembelajaran, penilaian, pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia lintas kurikulum, teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, keterampilan berbahasa, dan analisis pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia lainnya. Dewan redaksi ingin menerima naskah yang dikirimkan melalui sistem pengiriman online. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the meaning and pragmatic interpretation of the use of the greeting word kayo in the Kerinci language in Koto Baru Village, Tanah Kampung District in order to provide understanding and insight into the meaning of greeting kayo. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The informants of this study were members of the Desa Koto Baru, Tanah Kampung District, as native speakers of the Kerinci language. Data collection techniques are simak libat cakap techniques, recording techniques, note-taking techniques, and library techniques. The data validation technique uses source and theory triangulation techniques. Data analysis uses data reduction techniques, data presentation, and draws conclusions. The pragmatics meaning in the use of greeting kayo includes literal and nonliteral meanings. The literal meaning shows the intention of the greeter to respect someone who is older than the addressee, while the non-literal meaning intends to respect the addressee for certain purposes. For example, appreciating for having broad insights, as a form of entertaining or joking material, and appreciating for feeling familiar and close. Based on the research results, it is expected that the users of the greeting word kayo can understand its meaning pragmatically and place it according to the context of communication.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the integration of local wisdom, positive character strengthening through learning poetry appreciation for students in elementary schools. This research includes literature research using descriptive analysis methods. Data collection is carried out by reading relevant literature in books, journals, and proceedings. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions using data analysis using the Miles & Huberman model. The results showed that the realization of the integration of local wisdom through the study of poetry appreciation for students in elementary schools can be realized through actions (1) strengthening language skills directed at language skills involving students' local wisdom material, (2) literary enjoyment includes a) the stage of knowing and enjoying, b) the stage of appreciating, c) the stage of understanding, d) the stage of appreciation, and e) the stage of application, (3) social approach is directed at knowledge and habituation in comparing social problems between oneself, family, school and student community, (4) cultural enrichment is directed at knowledge and understanding of local wisdom customs, customs, methods, points of view and beliefs in local wisdom, and (5) positive character strengthening is directed at strengthening understanding of good and bad values and actualization in daily life.

Abstract

The variety of languages used by speakers or a group of people will shape the variety of languages in sociolinguistic studies. This research discusses the variation of language "greeting viewers" in the case study assignment of students in Broadcast Engineering course which aims to see the variations of language used to attract listeners/viewers of audio broadcasts. Both through diction and grouping of words used in various Indonesian languages, also to analyze student creativity in exploring their linguistic potential which is influenced by social and cultural factors. This type of research is qualitative using content analysis techniques. Sources of data from the documentation of student assignments conceptualizing broadcast language on audio broadcast technique material in class IV C in the form of writing (written text) totaling 15 data. The results obtained are language variations in the casual variety of 8 data, the intimate variety of 5 data, the official (formal) variety of 2 data. However, data 7 and data 13 tend to be in the slang group which is currently trending.

Abstract

Very often differences occur in society, so there is no opportunity for women or men to change roles. Feminism is a movement for equality between men and women in the political, economic, educational, social fields, as well as organized activities that defend women's rights and interests. This research uses qualitative descriptive research. This research is important because of the swift social phenomena regarding gender equality in society, and as time goes on, there are still many discriminations against women and men, so education is needed so that people can equalize the rights of men and women.

Abstract

Analysis of the Implementation of Independent Learning in Indonesian Language Learning at Sekolah Penggerak SMA Negeri 1 Lima Puluh. This study aims to determine the differences in the implementation of learning Indonesian using the 2013 curriculum and the independent learning curriculum as well as the results of the implementation of independent learning in the Indonesian language subject at SMA Negeri 1 Lima Puluh. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using triangulation techniques and the validity of the data is obtained from data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained from this study are that there are differences in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in the application of learning media, and learning methods and in student learning activities that have not been juxtaposed with technology in the 4.0 era. Independent learning applied by the teacher gives freedom (independence) to students in exploring existing knowledge. The obstacles encountered are internal factors from students and external from the scope of the school.

Abstract

The development of slang language among teenagers is increasingly prevalent due to the influence of technology. The environment also plays a role in shaping the use of slang language. Slang is used for various purposes, such as casual greetings, playful banter, teasing, reminding or reprimanding, and even to foster harmonious relationships in friendships, making communication more relaxed and less formal or monotonous for teenagers. This research aims to gain in-depth insights into the patterns of slang formation used by teenagers, the sources of slang language, the objectives behind its formation, as well as the factors that support the existence of slang language and its impact. This study employs a qualitative analysis approach, conducted by interviewing active students at Asahan University to understand the effects and influences resulting from the use of slang language among university students. The research indicates that the consequences and effects of slang language use can pose a threat to the presence of the Indonesian language and diminish its value, potentially even leading to the extinction of the Indonesian language. However, slang language also has positive effects, such as enhancing the creativity of teenagers in their language use.

Abstract

The world of education is currently experiencing new innovations in an effort to increase student interest in learning in the industrial revolution 4.0 era which continues to spur educators to continue to innovate. This study aims to find out how the process of increasing student learning in utilizing podcast media in the world of education, educators are constantly required to race in developing learning tools, especially in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Research conducted using descriptive analysis method. The form of the instrument in this study used several media such as smartphones, Google podcasts, journals, notebooks, and several other writing instruments. Data collection techniques carried out in this study used literature study. The literature study was carried out by researchers by collecting several journal references related to podcast media and how they are applied and their benefits in learning in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Based on the research results, it is known that there are several educators who have used podcast media, including the accounts of Addie Huzaini, Aryo Damar and Irwansyah. In the learning process the use of podcast media is also found in several other research journals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine digital learning media that can be used in learning Indonesian, as well as the design of digital learning media in learning Indonesian. The Digital Learning Media is designed as: Canva, Powerpoint, Quizizz, Google Form, Google Slides, Capcut, Tiktok, Wondershare Filmora. The research used in this study is qualitative research with qualitative descriptive methods which aim to develop digital learning media using computer applications, especially in Middle/High School Indonesian Language subjects. This research is expected to be able to produce educational products in the form of Digital Learning Media in improving the quality of learning. The results obtained were that 15 students used the Canva application, 12 students used Powerpoint, 7 students used the Quizizz application, 3 students used the Google Form application, 7 students used Google Slides, 6 students used the Capcut application, 3 students used the Tiktok application, 2 students using the Wondershare Filmora application with a total of 55 subjects.
