The high prevalence of mental disorders is not accompanied by an equal level of public acceptance. Stigma and negative attitudes toward people with mental disorders remain barriers to recovery and social integration. This study aimed to identify public attitudes and influencing factors through a scoping review. Articles were collected from Scopus, SpringerLink, ScienceDirect, and Sage Journals using a PCC framework–based search strategy. From 145,241 articles, 12 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed narratively. Results: public attitudes are influenced by culture, education, age, gender, mental health literacy, and personal experience. Negative attitudes include the perception that people with mental disorders are dangerous or need strict control. Positive attitudes appear in those with better mental health literacy and direct experience. Stigma also affects families through stigma by association. Conclusion: public attitudes are complex and contextual. Multidisciplinary efforts in public education, healthcare training, and family support are needed.

Nutritional problems among preschool-aged children in Indonesia continue to show significant prevalence with potential impacts on children's cognitive, motor, language, and social development. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between nutritional status and development among preschool-aged children three to six years old at Posyandu Teratai, Wonorejo Village, Kencong District, Jember Regency. This study employed a descriptive analytical design with a cross-sectional approach conducted in October 2025. The study population consisted of all children aged three to six years registered in the Wonorejo Primary Health Center service area totaling 210 children, with a sample of 137 respondents selected using purposive sampling technique. Research instruments included digital scales and stadiometer to measure nutritional status based on Weight-for-Age index using WHO Antro standards with Z-score, and the Pre-Screening Development Questionnaire to assess child development. Data were analyzed using Chi-Square test with significance level α = 0.05. Results showed that most children had normal nutritional status (60.27%) and normal development (55.24%), with p-value 0.001 (p < 0.05) indicating a significant relationship between nutritional status and child development. Children with normal nutritional status showed a higher proportion of normal development compared to children with undernutrition or overnutrition, confirming the crucial role of adequate nutrition during the golden age period in supporting optimal development among preschool-aged children.

Schizophrenia is a severe chronic mental disorder with a considerably high relapse rate. Relapse is not only influenced by the patient's biological factors but also significantly determined by the external environment's support and the family's ability to manage home care. Aim: This study aimed to determine the relationship between social support and family knowledge with the relapse rate in schizophrenia patients at RSKD Dadi, South Sulawesi Province. This research was a quantitative study using a cross-sectional design. Data were analyzed using the Chi-Square statistical test to examine the relationship between variables with a significance level of α=0.05. The study results showed a significant relationship between family knowledge and the relapse rate of schizophrenia patients (????=0.01). This data indicates that families with good knowledge had patients with a low relapse rate (111 people, 85.4%), while families with poor knowledge tended to have patients with a high relapse rate. Furthermore, a significant relationship was also found between social support and the patient's relapse rate (p=0.00). Adequate family knowledge and positive social support are key factors in suppressing the relapse rate of schizophrenia patients. Educated families are able to provide better medication supervision and create a conducive home environment for the patient's recovery. It is recommended that the hospital enhance its psychoeducation programs for families to minimize the rehospitalization rate.

Mental disorders remain a public health problem influenced by negative stigma against people with mental disorders (PMDs). This stigma results in low social acceptance, delayed help seeking, and limited support for the recovery process of people with mental disorders. Mental health cadres play a strategic role in public health services, but data collection shows that most cadres have never received mental health training. This situation indicates the need for interventions in the form of mental health training to reduce stigma against people with mental disorders. This study aims to describe the effect of mental health training on cadre stigma against people with mental disorders. This study used a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest with a total sampling technique of 40 respondents. The research instrument used was Community Attitudes Toward Mentally Ill (CAMI). Data analysis was conducted using the Shapiro Wilk test and Paired Sample T-test. The results showed an increase in the average stigma score from 75.54 to 84.03 with a p-0.003. It was concluded that mental health training had a positive and significant effect in reducing negative stigma and improving positive attitudes of community health workers toward people with mental disorders

Knee osteoarthritis is one of the most common degenerative joint diseases in the elderly and is a major cause of pain, reduced mobility, and poor quality of life. Education and structured exercise can reduce pain, improve quality of life, and increase self-efficacy. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and self-efficacy in managing knee osteoarthritis among the elderly. The study design was correlational and cross-sectional, using an osteoarthritis knowledge questionnaire to assess knowledge level and the Arthritis Self-Efficacy Scale-8 (ASES-8) to assess self-efficacy as data collection tools. The research sample consisted of 34 elderly people diagnosed with knee OA based on ACR clinical criteria at the Elderly Health Center in RW 6, Wadungasri Village, Waru District, Sidoarjo. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The results showed that the majority of subjects were female (94.1%), aged 60-79 years (97%), and overweight to obese (82.3%). The level of knowledge among the elderly was mostly in the adequate (61.8%) and good (29.4%) categories. The level of self-efficacy was in the moderate to high and high categories (82.4%). The correlation test results show that there is no significant relationship between education and self-efficacy (ρ= 0.034; p= 0.849). These findings indicate that self-efficacy is not only influenced by cognitive knowledge, but is more influenced by direct practical experience through participatory education. These findings suggest that self-efficacy among older adults with knee osteoarthritis may be influenced by factors beyond knowledge alone, including practical experience and social support.

Hypertension is a major health problem that carries a risk of serious complications such as stroke, heart disease, and kidney disorders, one of which is triggered by excessive sodium intake in the diet. Therefore, adopting a low-sodium diet as a nonpharmacological intervention is important to help control blood pressure in patients with hypertension. This study aims to determine the relationship between a low-sodium diet and blood pressure in hypertensive patients at the Tambelang Community Health Center. This study employed a quantitative analytical method with a descriptive correlational design and a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 95 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data on low-sodium dietary patterns were obtained via the Food Frequency Questionnaire-Sodium (FFQ-Na), while blood pressure was measured using a sphygmomanometer. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate methods with the Chi-Square test. The study findings indicate that respondents with a good-category low-sodium diet were predominantly in stage 1 hypertension, totaling 35 respondents (63.6%). Respondents in the “poor” category were predominantly in stage 2 hypertension, totaling 25 respondents (62.5%). The results of the Chi-Square test showed a p-value of 0.012 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant association between low-sodium dietary patterns and blood pressure.

Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis and remains a major public health concern. This study aimed to analyze the risk factors associated with the occurrence of pulmonary TB among families in the working area of Malawili Public Health Center, Sorong Regency. An analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design was conducted. The study included 35 families, consisting of 6 pulmonary TB case families and 29 non-case families, selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and observation checklists and were analyzed using the Chi-square test at a significance level of α = 0.05. The results revealed significant associations between pulmonary TB occurrence and residential density (p = 0.005), household ventilation (p = 0.017), and health practices (p = 0.022). In contrast, no significant associations were found for knowledge level (p = 0.079), household lighting (p = 0.061), and access to health information (p = 0.086). It can be concluded that environmental factors, particularly residential density and household ventilation, as well as health practices, are associated with the occurrence of pulmonary TB among families. Therefore, improving housing environmental conditions and strengthening healthy practices should be prioritized as part of pulmonary TB prevention and control efforts within the community.

Adolescent obesity has become one of the most pressing global public health issues, with a consistently increasing prevalence across countries. This study aimed to explore factors associated with obesity among adolescents. This study employed an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 468 obese high school adolescents were selected using total sampling. The variables included dietary patterns, physical activity, sedentary behavior, and sleep duration. Dietary patterns were assessed using the Global School-based Student Health Survey (GSHS-WHO). Physical activity was measured using the Physical Activity Questionnaire for Adolescents (PAQ-A). Sedentary behavior was assessed using the Sedentary Behaviour Questionnaire (SBQ), and sleep duration was measured using the Adolescent Sleep Habits Survey (ASHS). Obesity was determined using body mass index (BMI). The sample consisted of all obese high school adolescents in Tomohon City (n=468). Data were analyzed using chi-square tests and logistic regression. Results: The findings showed that 69,7% of respondents were classified as class I obesity. Dietary patterns, physical activity, sedentary behavior, and sleep duration were all significantly associated with adolescent obesity (p<0.05). Dietary patterns (OR=2,897; p=0,002) and physical activity (OR=2,843; p=0,004) were significant contributors to obesity among adolescents. Conclusion: Adolescent obesity is influenced by dietary patterns, physical activity, sedentary behavior, and sleep duration. Dietary patterns and physical activity were the dominant factors contributing to adolescent obesity and should therefore become the primary focus of obesity prevention efforts.

Effective communication through the Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation (SBAR) and Write, Read, Confirm (TBAK) methods is an important strategy in improving patient safety; however, the accuracy of its implementation still needs to be strengthened through effective clinical supervision. One way to ensure the quality of service is by implementing the interactive proctor clinical supervision model. The purpose of this study is to analyze, predict, and explore the impact of the implementation of the Team Leader Proctor Clinical Supervision Model on the implementation of patient safety, especially in terms of effective communication through SBAR and TBAK by nurses at Hospital X Jakarta. The research method is quasi-experimental, involving pre-posttest testing with a control group. The number of respondents was 90 people, consisting of 68 people in the intervention group and 22 people in the control group. Results of the study: After being given the Interactive Proctor clinical supervision model intervention, there was an increase of 73.5% according to standards, and 26.5% did not meet standards. Therefore, there is a significant influence of the Interactive Proctor clinical supervision model intervention on patient safety, especially in terms of the ability to communicate effectively through SBAR and TBAK, with a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05). The conclusion shows that the Proctor clinical supervision model increases the implementation of effective communication using SBAR and TBAK.
