Abstract

This study addresses issues in teaching massage techniques within sports education programs, particularly concerning students' inadequate understanding and skill development. To enhance learning outcomes, this research and development (R&D) study employed the ADDIE model, focusing on the creation and validation of video-based learning media specifically designed for massage courses. The research subjects included material and media experts as well as sports education students from Padang State University. Validation results indicated that the video content met high academic and design standards, achieving scores of 88.33% from material experts and 94.54% from media experts. Practicality tests with students yielded positive feedback, with scores of 85.9% for the small group and 85.2% for the large group, demonstrating the media's effectiveness and user-friendliness. These findings suggest that video-based learning media can significantly improve understanding and engagement in complex subjects. This approach offers flexibility and supports diverse learning styles, potentially enhancing educational outcomes and fostering a more interactive learning environment.

Abstract

The limited learning media used in IPAS learning makes students less motivated to learn and less optimal understanding of learning materials. These obstacles have an impact on the low learning outcomes of students. This research aims to create an interactive learning media based on artificial intelligence to improve the learning outcomes of grade IV elementary school. This type of research is development research (Research and Development). The development model used is the Borg & Gall development model. The subjects involved in this study consisted of a team of experts, classroom teachers, and grade IV students. Data collection techniques were obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and tests. Techniques for analyzing data used initial data analysis techniques in the form of normality tests and final analysis techniques in the form of t tests and N-Gain tests. The results showed that the developed media was declared feasible and effective. Declared feasible based on validation from material experts obtained a score of 92.3% and media expert validation obtained a score of 96.4%, both in the very feasible category. It was declared effective based on the results of the pretest and post-test of students by conducting the N-Gain test obtained a score of 0.56 which showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes in the moderate category. The conclusion of this study is that the artificial intelligence-based interactive learning media developed is feasible and effective use as a learning media to improve the learning outcomes of grade IV elementary school students.

Abstract

The lack of digital-based teaching materials makes students feel bored in learning. This causes student learning outcomes to be low. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of E-modules using a Problem Based Learning approach in class IV science course content. The subjects of media effectiveness were 28 class IV students. The development model used is ADDIE (analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation). The data collection methods and instruments used in this research are questionnaire methods and objective tests in the form of multiple choices. The data analysis techniques used are quantitative descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of the feasibility and practicality of the media by experts and respondents received very good qualifications and were suitable for use. The results of the effectiveness test state that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, so it can be concluded that the development of the E-module using the Problem Based Learning approach that was developed is effective and suitable for use by class IV students. The implication of this research is that it is hoped that it will be able to provide a reference for teachers in developing innovative teaching materials.

Abstract

Learning outcomes in Civics subjects for elementary school students are still low. This is because teachers do not use learning models that suit students' learning styles. So this research aims to analyze the influence of Discovery learning using the Teaching at Right Level (TaRL) approach on Class IV Civics Learning Outcomes. The method used in this research is quantitative using a Quasi Experimental Design approach. The population in this study was all class IV consisting of class IV A and class IV B. The sample for this research was class IV A students totalling 23 students as the experimental class and class IV B students totalling 23 students as the control class. Samples were taken using a saturated sampling technique where the entire population was used as a sample. The data collection technique used is a multiple-choice test. The research data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistical analysis techniques (t-test) with a significance level of 5%. The results of the research state that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of Discovery learning using the TaRL approach on class IV Civics learning outcomes. The implications of this research are expected to be able to make students active in learning.

Abstract

Conventional learning is still carried out in Indonesian language learning. This causes students to get bored and not enthusiastic about learning. Based on this, this research aims to analyze the effectiveness of electronic books on student learning outcomes in class IV Indonesian language subjects. This research is development research that refers to the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. Research data collection methods and instruments were collected using questionnaires and multiple-choice tests. The research data was then analyzed descriptively qualitatively, quantitatively, descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. This research used 29 fourth grade students as subjects. The results of this research show that the media feasibility test by experts and respondents received very good qualifications and was suitable for use. The effectiveness test results show that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the results of using Electronic Books based on the Contextual Approach are effectively used in the reading activities of class IV students. The implication of this research is that it is an example of the application of digital teaching materials for Indonesian language learning in elementary schools. Teachers are expected to always develop their competence in carrying out varied learning.

Abstract

When discussing, students are still not active. This can be seen through students' lack of courage to express their ideas and lack of curiosity about the lesson material. Based on this, this research aims to analyze the influence of the POE learning model assisted by environmental media on the science and science attitudes of class V students. This research uses a quasi-experimental research design with a non-equivalent control group research design. The population of this study was all 426 class V students. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling which obtained 28 students from the VB class as the experimental class and 29 students from the VA class as the control class. Data collection methods and instruments use questionnaire sheets. Scientific attitude data obtained from the results of data collection were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques and inferential statistical analysis using the polled variance t-test. The results of the hypothesis test show that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the POE learning model assisted by environmental media has an influence on the science and science attitudes of fifth grade elementary school students. The implication of this research is that it can be used as a basis for developing research related to the use of the POE learning model in science and science subjects in elementary schools.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of science are due to the current science learning process, which still applies teacher-centered teaching methods as a material provider. The learning process uses the lecture method, which only requires students to learn science by memorizing concepts, theories, and laws. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model assisted by Mind mapping media on science learning outcomes of grade IV students. This study included quasi-experimental research with a research design of a non-equivalent post-test-only control group design. The population of this study was all fourth-grade students, totalling 167 students. The sample of this study was taken using a random sampling technique or a lottery technique. The data analyzed in this study were the science learning outcomes of students whose learning outcomes data collection methods used the test method with multiple choice test sets. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive statistical analysis techniques and prerequisite test analysis (t-test). The results of calculating the average (mean) of science learning outcomes of experimental group students with very high criteria, while the average (mean) value of students in the control group with high categories. Thus, the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model assisted by Mind mapping media significantly affects the science learning outcomes of grade IV students.

Abstract

At this time, educators are still more dominant in using books in science and science learning, which makes students lazy to read books. Educators should be able to develop learning media to support student learning. This research aims to develop interactive learning media based on a contextual approach that is tailored to student needs which can help teachers in implementing learning. The model used in developing this media is the ADDIE model. Based on the research that has been carried out, the results obtained are interactive learning media that is suitable and effective for use in learning. The interactive learning media based on the contextual approach that was developed was declared feasible and effectively applied in the learning process. The results of the effectiveness test calculation based on the results of the univariate t-test obtained a tcount of 13,945 which was then compared with the ttable value at a significance level of 5% with dk = 27 which was 2.05. The results show that t-count > t-table (13,945 > 2.05), so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The effectiveness of using interactive learning media can also be seen from the increase in the average science knowledge competency of students as measured through pretest and posttest. The average pretest score was 58.9 and the average posttest score was 92.6. Thus, it can be concluded that interactive learning media for economic material can be applied in learning science content for fifth grade elementary school.

Abstract

Learning tools must support teacher and student learning to achieve learning outcomes. The absence of teaching materials will be a barrier to good learning outcomes. Educators are asked to actively participate in creating inventive learning tools, including interesting teaching materials, with this free curriculum. Students who enjoy learning will help teachers in the learning process. The aim of this research is to analyze how much influence teaching materials have on the learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students. The method used is quantitative. The instruments used were observations, interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques include reliability testing, validity testing, analysis prerequisite testing, and hypothesis testing. The sample consisted of 32 students who were in class V of elementary school. The results of this research showed that the influence of teaching materials was 61% on student learning outcomes. Meanwhile, 39% was influenced by factors outside this research. It was concluded that the use of teaching materials that use learning models influences student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low availability of learning media that can support learning in elementary schools. This study aims to determine the design, feasibility and effectiveness of interactive learning video media using edpuzzle for grade III elementary school. This research is a development research with ADDIE development model. The subjects of this research trial were learning material content experts, learning media experts, design experts, third grade elementary school students. The data collection method used questionnaires and tests. The analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative-qualitative. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the learning video development design using edpuzzle, namely the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, then the results of product trials by material content experts, learning design experts, learning media experts, individual and small group assessment tests obtained good and very good qualifications. So that the product is declared valid and feasible to use. The effectiveness of the product is calculated based on the results of the paired sample t-test calculation, which shows that there is a significant difference in student learning motivation before using and after using interactive learning video media. So it can be concluded that interactive learning video media using edpuzzle effectively increases student motivation and learning outcomes in grade III elementary school.
