Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to assess the impact of CAR, NPF, and BOPO variables on the profitability of Islamic commercial banks, considering firm size as a moderating variable. A quantitative methodology is used in this research, where secondary data is collected from the annual financial statements of Islamic commercial banks for the period of 2018 to 2021. The structural equation modelling (SEM) method is used to conduct data analysis. The research findings indicate that CAR has a significant positive effect on profitability, while NPF and BOPO have no significant effect. However, firm size is found to significantly moderate the effects of CAR and BOPO on profitability. The implications of this study highlight the importance of considering firm size in planning the policies and operational strategies of Islamic commercial banks to strengthen the relationship between these factors and the desired level of profitability. This study provides new insights into understanding the factors that influence the profitability of Islamic commercial banks and makes a significant contribution to the literature on Islamic banking.Keywords: Islamic Bank, Profitability, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non-Performing Financing, Operational Expenses, Operational RevenueAbstrak. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam hal profitabilitas, CAR menunjukkan dampak positif yang signifikan, sedangkan NPF dan BOPO tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Namun, ukuran perusahaan terbukti memoderasi pengaruh CAR dan BOPO terhadap profitabilitas secara signifikan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya mempertimbangkan ukuran perusahaan dalam perencanaan kebijakan dan strategi operasional bank umum syariah untuk memperkuat hubungan antara faktor-faktor tersebut dan tingkat profitabilitas yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan baru dalam memahami faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi profitabilitas bank umum syariah dan memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap literatur perbankan syariah.Kata kunci: Bank Syariah, Profitabilitas, Rasio Kecukupan Modal, Pembiayaan Bermasalah, Beban Operasional, Pendapatan Operasional.

Abstract

Abstract. The amount of village funds distributed by the government to villages should be accompanied by an excellent performance of the empowerment programme and the improvement of the village economy through Village-Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa). However, many BUM Desa have stopped operating. This study aims to explore the causes of BUM Desa's poor performance using ethnographic research strategy. The results of this study revealed that the cause of BUM Desa's poor performance is that the community prefers BUM Desa that have physical buildings rather than implementing community empowerment-based businesses through modern cultivation and agriculture. In addition, many villages require higher capacity to formulate a vision for sustainable development. Both factors occur due to the low education level of village heads and communities. The weak performance of BUM Desa is exacerbated by the community culture that considers a person's height not based on capacity but age. In many villages, elders are often more dominant in making proposals than the village head, leading to a lack of focus on the direction of village development. BUM Desa performance is currently at the stage of fulfilling fiscal and social accountability but needs to be more effective in delivering empowerment benefits.   Keywords: BUM Desa, economic performance, barriers, community empowerment, sustainability, village development     Abstrak. Besarnya dana desa yang disalurkan pemerintah ke desa seharusnya dibarengi dengan kinerja yang sangat baik dari program pemberdayaan dan peningkatan ekonomi desa melalui Badan Usaha Milik Desa ( BUM Desa ). Namun banyak BUM Desa yang berhenti beroperasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penyebab buruknya kinerja BUM Desa dengan menggunakan strategi penelitian etnografi. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa penyebab buruknya kinerja BUM Desa adalah karena masyarakat lebih memilih BUM Desa yang mempunyai bangunan fisik dibandingkan melaksanakan usaha berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui budidaya dan pertanian modern. Selain itu, banyak desa memerlukan kapasitas yang lebih tinggi untuk merumuskan visi pembangunan berkelanjutan. Kedua faktor tersebut terjadi karena rendahnya tingkat pendidikan kepala desa dan masyarakat. Lemahnya kinerja BUM Desa diperparah dengan budaya masyarakat yang menganggap tinggi badan seseorang bukan berdasarkan kapasitas melainkan usia. Di banyak desa, para tetua seringkali lebih dominan dalam mengajukan usulan dibandingkan kepala desa, sehingga menyebabkan tidak fokusnya arah pembangunan desa. Kinerja BUM Desa saat ini berada pada tahap pemenuhan akuntabilitas fiskal dan sosial namun perlu lebih efektif dalam memberikan manfaat pemberdayaan.  Kata kunci : BUM Desa, kinerja perekonomian , hambatan , pemberdayaan masyarakat , keinginan , pembangunan desa

Abstract

Abstract. Digital storytelling is a method of telling stories using digital media. This method can be used for educational purposes including environmental education to support sustainability mindset. This study aimed to explore the use of digital storytelling for environmental education on Youtube in the context of social forestry in Indonesia. The research method used was Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and analyses using thematic coding. The findings from 15 professionals and experts in 3 FGD sessions showed that digital storytelling with Youtube can be an effective tool for environmental education. This is because YouTube as a digital storytelling media captures the attention of viewers, helps them understand complex environmental concepts, and promotes alignment to support sustainability. Digital storytelling in YouTube can be used to build relationships and collaboration among viewers in local and regional scope. Metode ini dapat digunakan untuk tujuan pendidikan termasuk pendidikan lingkungan untuk mendukung pola pikir yang mendukung pelestarian lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penggunaan digital storytelling untuk pendidikan lingkungan hidup di Youtube, dengan konteks perhutanan sosial di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan analisis menggunakan koding tematik. Temuan dari tiga sesi FGD menunjukkan bahwa digital storytelling dengan Youtube dapat menjadi sarana yang efektif untuk pendidikan lingkungan. Ini karena mendongeng digital menarik perhatian pemirsa, membantu mereka memahami konsep lingkungan yang kompleks, dan mendorong keselarasan untuk mendukung keberlanjutan. Berkisah melalui media digital dapat digunakan pula untuk membangun relasi dan kolaborasi antar pemirsa dalam lingkup lokal dan regional. Abstract

Abstract. This study was conducted to determine whether the efficiency of operating costs and profitability of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the banking sector on stock prices. Research design, data, and methodology: This study uses 35 banking companies from 2020 to 2021 as a sample in the study, with a total of 70 financial statements data. The analysis test was conducted to see the effect of operational cost efficiency and profitability on stock prices in banking companies during the covid-19 pandemic. Multiple linier regression is conducted to check the simultaneous test and partial test. As for the indicators in cost efficiencies are operating expenses on operating income. The profitability effects indicators are based on return on equity. Stock prices indicators are based on internal and external policies and abilities. The test results show that operational cost efficiency and profitability have a simultaneous effect on stock prices. However, it partially shows that operational cost efficiency has no significant effect. Meanwhile, profitability shows positive results and has a significant effect. Conclusions: Based on the table of the Coefficient of Determination (R²) test, the value of Adjusted R Square is 98.7%. This shows that the variables of Operational Cost Efficiency and Profitability affect the stock price by 98.7% and the remaining 1.3% is influenced by other variables. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apakah efisiensi biaya operasional dan profitabilitas perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia di sektor perbankan terhadap harga saham. Desain penelitian, data, dan metodologi: Penelitian ini menggunakan 35 perusahaan perbankan dari tahun 2020 hingga 2021 sebagai sampel dalam penelitian, dengan total 70 data laporan keuangan. Uji analisis dilakukan untuk melihat pengaruh efisiensi biaya operasional dan profitabilitas terhadap harga saham di perusahaan perbankan selama pandemi covid-19. Regresi linier berganda dilakukan untuk memeriksa uji simultan dan uji parsial. Adapun indikator dalam efisiensi biaya adalah biaya operasional pada pendapatan operasional. Indikator efek profitabilitas didasarkan pada pengembalian ekuitas. Indikator harga saham didasarkan pada kebijakan dan kemampuan internal dan eksternal. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi biaya operasional dan profitabilitas berpengaruh simultan terhadap harga saham. Namun, sebagian menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi biaya operasional tidak berpengaruh signifikan. Sementara itu, profitabilitas menunjukkan hasil positif dan berpengaruh signifikan. Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan tabel uji Coefficient of Determination (R²), nilai Adjusted R Square adalah 98,7%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel Efisiensi Biaya Operasional dan Profitabilitas mempengaruhi harga saham sebesar 98,7% dan sisanya 1,3% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lainnya. Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to determine the effect of service recovery on service failure severity, customer satisfaction, eWOM, and repurchase intention. This study adopts an online survey method by distributing 196 online questionnaires to Indonesian OTA users who experienced service failures within the past year. The proposed study model undergoes examination using a partial least square-structural equation model (PLS-SEM). The result reveals that service recovery variables positively and significantly affected customer satisfaction, eWOM, and repurchase intention, however, the severity of the service failure did not significantly impact the relationship between service recovery and customer satisfaction. This study aims to provide valuable insight that enables OTA industry practitioners in Indonesia to develop more effective service recovery strategies. It contributes to developing justice theory and the service failure severity factor as moderators of service failures in the Indonesian OTA industry and their effect on customer satisfaction, eWOM, and repurchase intention. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh dari service recovery terhadap variabel service failure severity, customer satisfaction, eWOM dan repurchase intention. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menyebarkan 196 kuesioner menggunakan metode online survey yang melibatkan responden pengguna OTA di Indonesia yang pernah mengalami kegagalan layanan dalam satu tahun terakhir. Pengujian dilakukan atas model penelitian yang diusulkan menggunakan partial least square - structural equation model (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel service recovery mempengaruhi customer satisfaction, eWOM, dan juga repurchase intention secara positif dan signifikan, namun variabel service failure severity tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dalam memoderasi pengaruh dari service recovery terhadap customer satisfaction. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan bagi manajemen industri OTA di Indonesia dalam merancang strategi service recovery yang efektif. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada perluasan justice theory dan faktor service failure severity sebagai moderasi terhadap kegagalan layanan di industri OTA di Indonesia serta pengaruhnya terhadap customer satisfaction, eWOM, dan repurchase intention. Abstract

Abstract. Social media platforms have become a tool for spreading information in society, it enables the government to use this media for giving information to the public, especially in pandemic situations. Social media has revolutionized the way of reaching out to consumers and communicating with them. Branding in social media strategy is commonly used in advertising and product marketing but has not been widely used in the health communication field. In this study, we shine a light on the new way health communications marketing is reaching audiences with health messages. The information adoption process in social media might be a strategy for spreading trusted information on the internet, so this study aims to examine the precursor of this case. Using Structural Equation Model (SEM) we identify the relationship between variables influencing certain behaviors related to health content in social media. This study used snowballing technique for collecting data through online questionnaires with a sample of 297 respondents who were in accordance with the criteria of the population. We offer insight for future research on these topics by discussing the public marketing role in social media interaction. Our outcome of the study to serve as a platform to positively impact future research on information in social media regarding health is being delivered to society. Furthermore, the study may develop a socialization program to educate society, campaign for a healthy lifestyle, and health information media using social media. Platform media sosial telah menjadi salah satu alat penyebaran informasi di masyarakat, sehingga pemerintah dapat memanfaatkan media tersebut untuk memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat, terutama dalam situasi pandemi. Media sosial telah merevolusi cara menjangkau konsumen dan berkomunikasi dengan mereka. Branding dalam strategi media sosial biasa digunakan dalam periklanan dan pemasaran produk namun belum banyak digunakan dalam bidang komunikasi kesehatan. Dalam studi ini, kami menyoroti cara baru pemasaran komunikasi kesehatan dalam menjangkau khalayak dengan pesan kesehatan. Proses adopsi informasi di media sosial dapat menjadi strategi penyebaran informasi terpercaya di internet, sehingga kami meneliti prekursor pada kasus ini. Dengan menggunakan Structural Equation Model (SEM) kami mengidentifikasi hubungan antara variabel yang mempengaruhi perilaku tertentu terkait konten kesehatan di media sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data snowballing melalui kuesioner online dengan sampel 297 responden yang sesuai dengan kriteria populasi. Kami menawarkan wawasan untuk penelitian masa depan mengenai topik ini dengan mendiskusikan peran pemasaran publik dalam interaksi media sosial. Hasil penelitian kami berfungsi sebagai platform untuk mengedepankan penelitian di masa depan mengenai informasi di media sosial mengenai kesehatan yang disampaikan kepada masyarakat. Selanjutnya penelitian ini dapat mengembangkan program sosialisasi untuk mengedukasi masyarakat, mengkampanyekan pola hidup sehat, dan media informasi kesehatan melalui media sosial. Abstract

Abstract. The Sharia property industry in Indonesia has increased exponentially in recent years. Many Association of Sharia Property Developers (ADPS) members have recorded significant home sales. However, it is different with Tasnim Property, which has experienced a decline in home sales. This research aims to analyze consumer behaviour in making home purchase decisions, analyze internal factors, analyze micro and macro external factors, formulate alternative strategies and formulate strategic priorities that can be applied to Tasnim Property's business development strategy. This research was conducted from November 2022 to September 2023 with quantitative and qualitative approaches. In consumer behaviour analysis, the sampling technique used voluntary sampling through an online survey involving 75 respondents, and data analysis used SEM-PLS to determine the direct effect of product, price, place and promotion variables on home purchase decisions. In the strategic management analysis, the sampling technique used purposive sampling involving 6 respondents. Data analysis used the IFE matrix, Porter's Five Forces, PESTLE, EFE matrix, IE matrix, SWOT and QSPM matrix. The results showed that the product and promotion variables significantly affected home purchasing decisions. In contrast, the price and place variables did not significantly affect home purchasing decisions. There are 8 alternative strategies that have been formulated, namely: (1) increasing cooperation with a large number of Sharia Property Agency partners, (2) a home sales strategy with a unit booking system through Virtual Reality technology, (3) increasing marketing activities through B2G, B2B and B2C cooperation offers, (4) recruiting professional and experienced CEOs in the property sector, (5) introducing Tasnim products by enlarging marketing areas, (6) implementing simplified licensing procedures through the OSS (Online Single Submission) application, related agencies in local governments and online PBG, (7) a strategy to buy materials directly from factories/distributors, and (8) establishing a research & development division. The priority strategy that can be recommended for Tasnim Property is to increase cooperation with many Sharia Property Agency partners. This strategy is essential for the company to increase the market share of Sharia property with more massive and vigorous marketing efforts. Industri properti syariah di Indonesia mengalami peningkatan secara eksponensial dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Banyak member Asosiasi Developer Properti Syariah (ADPS) berhasil membukukan rekor penjualan rumah dengan signifikan. Akan tetapi, berbeda dengan Tasnim Property yang mengalami penurunan penjualan rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku konsumen dalam melakukan keputusan pembelian rumah, menganalisis faktor internal, menganalisis faktor eksternal mikro dan makro, merumuskan alternatif strategi dan merumuskan prioritas strategi yang dapat diterapkan dalam strategi pengembangan bisnis Tasnim Property. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan November 2022 hingga September 2023 dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pada analisis perilaku konsumen, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan voluntary sampling melalui survei online yang melibatkan 75 responden, dan analisis data menggunakan SEM-PLS untuk menguji pengaruh langsung variabel product, price, place dan promotion terhadap keputusan pembelian rumah. Pada analisis manajemen strategik, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling yang melibatkan 6 responden, dan analisis data menggunakan matriks IFE, Porter’s Five Forces, PESTLE, matriks EFE, matriks IE, SWOT dan matriks QSPM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel product dan promotion memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian rumah, sementara variabel price dan place tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian rumah. Terdapat 8 alternatif strategi yang telah dirumuskan yaitu (1) meningkatkan kerjasama dengan mitra Agency Property Syariah dalam jumlah yang banyak, (2) strategi penjualan rumah dengan sistem booking unit melalui teknologi Virtual Reality, (3) meningkatkan aktivitas pemasaran melalui penawaran kerjasama B2G, B2B dan B2C, (4) merekrut CEO profesional dan berpengalaman di bidang properti, (5) memperkenalkan produk Tasnim dengan memperbesar wilayah pemasaran, (6) penerapan penyederhanaan prosedur perizinan melalui aplikasi OSS (Online Single Submission), dinas terkait di pemerintah daerah dan PBG online, (7) strategi membeli bahan material langsung ke pabrik/distributor, dan (8) membentuk divisi research & development. Strategi prioritas yang direkomendasikan bagi Tasnim Property adalah meningkatkan kerjasama dengan mitra Agency Properti Syariah dalam jumlah banyak. Strategi ini sangat diperlukan perusahaan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan market share properti syariah dengan usaha pemasaran yang lebih masif dan gencar. Abstract

Abstract. Implementing a government electronic system changes the work environment by improving efficiency, cooperation, data accuracy, flexibility, skill development, feedback systems, and customer service while lowering administrative costs. These adjustments, taken together, contribute to enhanced employee performance across a variety of parameters. As a result, it is vital to research how government electronic system rules affect staff performance, particularly public service efficacy. This study involves quantitative research methodologies, with data collected using a Google Form questionnaire emailed to the staff of the Pesawaran Regency Government Administration Office. After collecting 100 replies, the data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Path Modelling (PLS-PM) approach to evaluate the hypothesis. The study's findings show that government electronic systems policy has a major impact on staff performance, which in turn influences the effectiveness of public services. Penerapan sistem elektronik pemerintah mengubah lingkungan kerja dengan meningkatkan efisiensi, kerja sama, akurasi data, fleksibilitas, pengembangan keterampilan, sistem umpan balik, dan layanan pelanggan sekaligus menurunkan biaya administrasi. Penyesuaian ini, jika digabungkan, berkontribusi pada peningkatan kinerja pegawai di berbagai parameter. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk meneliti bagaimana aturan sistem elektronik pemerintah memengaruhi kinerja staf, khususnya efektivitas layanan publik. Penelitian ini melibatkan metodologi penelitian kuantitatif, dengan data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner Google Form yang dikirim melalui email kepada staf Kantor Administrasi Pemerintah Kabupaten Pesawaran. Setelah mengumpulkan 100 balasan, data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan Partial Least Squares Path Modelling (PLS-PM) untuk mengevaluasi hipotesis. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan sistem elektronik pemerintah memiliki dampak besar pada kinerja staf, yang pada gilirannya memengaruhi efektivitas layanan publik.  Kata kunci: Sistem e-Government; kinerja pegawai; layanan publik; efektivitas, partial least squares

Abstract

  Abstract. This study aims to determine the role of e-performance and digital leadership in enhancing self-motivation and employee performance in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in North Luwu. The study employs a quantitative approach targeting all employees involved in MSMEs in North Luwu as the research population. Empirical analysis was conducted using a sample of 309 millennials. Data collection was carried out through an online survey. After passing reliability and validity tests, the data were analyzed using a structural equation model based on partial least squares (PLS-SEM). The research results indicate that e-performance has a significant and positive direct impact on employee performance (0.001 < 0.005) and self-motivation (0.000 < 0.05). Similarly, digital leadership shows a significant and positive direct effect on employee performance (0.002 < 0.05) and self-motivation (0.000 < 0.05). Interestingly, however, self-motivation does not have a positive direct impact on employee performance (0.127 > 0.05), thus rejecting one of the five hypotheses proposed in this study. This research can contribute to managers and employees of MSMEs regarding the importance of implementing an effective e-performance system and digital leadership to improve MSME employee performance and motivation. Managers must ensure that the e-performance system provides constructive feedback and focuses on key elements such as accessibility and accuracy. Furthermore, digital leadership needs to support the development of technological skills and an innovation-driven culture. The findings of this study can also provide empirical support for the theory of planned behavior, thus providing a more comprehensive model of the relationship between e-performance, digital leadership, self-motivation, and employee performance.  Keywords:  E peformance, digital leadership, self-motivation, employee performance, and MSMEs Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan peran e-performance dan kepemimpinan digital dalam meningkatkan motivasi diri dan kinerja karyawan pada Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Luwu Utara. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sasaran seluruh karyawan yang terlibat dalam UMKM di Luwu Utara sebagai populasi penelitian. Analisis empiris dilakukan dengan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 309 generasi milenial. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei online. Setelah data lolos uji reliabilitas dan validitas, data dianalisis dengan model persamaan struktural berbasis partial least squares (PLS-SEM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-performance berpengaruh signifikan dan positif secara langsung terhadap kinerja karyawan (0.001 < 0.005) dan motivasi diri (0.000 < 0.05). Demikian pula, kepemimpinan digital menunjukkan efek signifikan dan positif secara langsung terhadap kinerja karyawan (0.002 < 0.05) dan motivasi diri (0.000 < 0.05). Namun, menariknya, motivasi diri tidak berpengaruh positif secara langsung terhadap kinerja karyawan (0.127 > 0.05), sehingga menolak salah satu dari lima hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi manajer dan karyawan UMKM mengenai pentingnya penerapan sistem e-performance yang efektif dan kepemimpinan digital untuk meningkatkan kinerja dan motivasi karyawan UMKM. Manajer harus memastikan bahwa sistem e-performance memberikan umpan balik konstruktif dan fokus pada elemen-elemen kunci seperti aksesibilitas dan akurasi. Selain itu, kepemimpinan digital perlu mendukung pengembangan keterampilan teknologi dan budaya inovasi. Temuan penelitian ini juga dapat memberikan dukungan empiris untuk teori perilaku terencana, sehingga menyediakan model yang lebih komprehensif tentang hubungan antara e-performance, kepemimpinan digital, motivasi diri, dan kinerja karyawan. Abstract

Abstract. Companies increasingly leverage social media tools to access knowledge from external actors, particularly customers and other users, to facilitate innovation processes and corporate performance. Little empirical research has investigated the impact of external knowledge sourced through social media. This research aims to analyze the influence of human capital on open innovation and business performance through social media. This research was conducted on MSMEs in Padang City, West Sumatra, Indonesia. The sample was 200 MSMEs in Padang City. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The quantitative method is then processed and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) data analysis techniques with smartPLS. This research examines how external knowledge flows of human capital sourced from social media influence open innovation and business performance. The findings in this research are that there is a positive and significant influence between human capital on business performance, human capital on open innovation, human capital on social media, and social media on open innovation. On the other hand, social media does not have a positive or significant influence on business performance. This research also shows the role of social media as a mediator of the positive and significant relationship between human capital and open innovation. Meanwhile, social media fails to mediate the relationship between human capital and company performance. Overall, these findings underscore the importance of human capital in enhancing open innovation through social media, thereby impacting firm performance.   Keywords: Human capital, social media, open innovation, business performance   Abstrak. Perusahaan semakin memanfaatkan alat media sosial untuk mengakses pengetahuan dari pelaku eksternal, khususnya pelanggan dan pengguna lainnya, untuk memfasilitasi proses inovasi dan kinerja perusahaan. Sedikit penelitian empiris yang menyelidiki dampak pengetahuan eksternal yang bersumber melalui media sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh modal manusia terhadap inovasi terbuka dan kinerja bisnis melalui media sosial. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada pelaku UMKM di Kota Padang, Sumatera Barat, Indonesia. Sampelnya adalah 200 pelaku UMKM di Kota Padang. Teknik penentuan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif, kemudian diolah dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis data Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan smartPLS. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana aliran pengetahuan eksternal dari modal manusia yang bersumber dari media sosial mempengaruhi inovasi terbuka dan kinerja bisnis. Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara human capital terhadap kinerja bisnis, human capital terhadap open Innovation, human capital pada media sosial, dan media sosial terhadap open Innovation. Sebaliknya media sosial tidak mempunyai pengaruh positif atau signifikan terhadap kinerja bisnis. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan peran media sosial sebagai mediator hubungan positif dan signifikan antara modal manusia dan inovasi terbuka. Sementara itu, media sosial gagal memediasi hubungan antara modal manusia dan kinerja perusahaan. Secara keseluruhan, temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya modal manusia dalam meningkatkan inovasi terbuka melalui media sosial, sehingga berdampak pada kinerja perusahaan.
