Abstract

This study aims to test "the influence of personality, lifestyle and self-concept on the purchase decision of ms glow beauty products on the people of Tembung, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency". This type of research is associative, which is research with the aim of finding out the relationship of influence between two or more variables. The population in this study is the entire community of Tembung, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency who use ms glow beauty products, whose number is not known for sure. The sampling method uses Leme show. The number of samples used in this study was 96 people. The data analysis in this study included a validity test, reliability test, normality test, a multicollinearity test, a heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, f-test, and determinant coefficient test (r2) using the statistical package for the social science for Windows (spss) 25. Based on the r2 test, a value of 0.162 was found. This states that the variables of personality, lifestyle, and self-concept affect the purchase decision by 16.2%, while the remaining 83.8% are influenced by variables that are not studied in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how business experience influences the performance of actors, to find out how self-efficacy influences the performance of actors, to find out how self-confidence influences the performance of actors, and to find out how business experience, self-efficacy and self-confidence influence the performance of MSMEs (Study Case in Medan Area District). The population in this study was 74 MSMEs in Medan City, Medan Area District. The sample in the research was 74 MSMEs in Medan City, Medan Area District using saturated samples. The data collection technique used in this research was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The analysis techniques used in this research are multiple linear regression, partial test (t test), simultaneous significance test (F test) and coefficient of determination. The results of the research show that there is a partial influence of business experience on the performance of the perpetrator, there is a partial influence of self-efficacy on the performance of the perpetrator, there is a partial influence of self-confidence on the performance of the perpetrator, there is an influence of business experience, self-efficacy and self-confidence simultaneously on the performance of MSMEs In Medan Area District.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Store Atmosphere and Service Quality on Revisit Intention of visitors to Medan City Culinary Pajus. Competition in the culinary industry is increasingly fierce, requiring managers to understand the factors that can increase visitor loyalty through the intention to return. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data was collected through a questionnaire distributed to 120 respondents who were visitors to the Medan City Culinary Pajus. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis to determine the simultaneous and partial influence. The analysis techniques used in this study are multiple linear regression, partial test (t-test), simultaneous signification test (F test), and determination coefficient. This can be seen from the significant value (0.047) of 0.05 and t-count (2.012) compared to t-table (1.986). The Service Quality variable has a significant effect on Revisit Intention. This can be seen from the significant value (0.000) 0.05 and t-count (5.021) compared to the t-table (1.986).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of entrepreneurial knowledge on business success, to determine the influence of business capital on business success, and to determine the influence of entrepreneurial knowledge and business capital on business success (case study of MSMEs at the Medan City Market Center). The population in this study was 1,821 business actors in the Medan City Market Center. The sample in the research was 95 business actors taken using the Slovin formula. The data collection technique used in this research was carried out by distributing questionnaires. The analysis techniques used in this research are multiple linear regression, partial test (t test), simultaneous significance test (F test), and coefficient of determination. The research results show that entrepreneurial knowledge has a positive and significant effect on business success, business capital has a positive and significant effect on business success, and entrepreneurial knowledge and business capital have a significant and simultaneous effect on the success of MSME businesses in the Medan City Market Center.

Abstract

This research seeks to ascertain the impact of profitability and liquidity on company value in state-owned companies listed on the IDX for the 2016-2020 period. There are twelve state-owned businesses on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2017 and 2020 that were deemed to meet the assessment criteria outlined in the purposive sampling technique made up the research sample for this quantitative study, which was conducted with a population of state-owned companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2016 and 2020. The kind of information utilized in this research is secondary data, which originates from information seen in financial reports on the Company's official website https://www.idx.co.id/. Based on the results of the study, it was found that partially Return On Asset has a positive and substantial impact on Stock Price; partially Current Ratio has no substantial impact on Stock Price, and simultaneously Return On Asset and Current Ratio have a substantial impact on stock prices. Additionally, the coefficient of determination test findings revealed that the Adjusted R Square number was 0.304 (30.4%), which explains how the stock price can be determined and described by the current ratio and return on assets.  However, other variables or factors outside the scope of the study, such as investment policy related to dividend payout ratio, account for the remaining 69.6%.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of work flexibility, work environment, and work-life balance on employee job satisfaction at the Aceh Tamiang Inspectorate Office. Using a quantitative method with a survey approach, this study involved 48 respondents. Data was collected through questionnaires, which were then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that work flexibility, work environment, and work-life balance positively and significantly affected job satisfaction. Among the three variables, the work environment has the greatest influence with a regression coefficient of 0.45, followed by work flexibility (0.35) and work-life balance (0.30). Simultaneous tests showed that these three variables together affected job satisfaction with an F-count value of 15.72 and a p-value 0.001. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.65 shows that 65% of job satisfaction variability can be explained by these three variables. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of work flexibility, a good work environment, and work-life balance to increase employee job satisfaction. The Aceh Tamiang Inspectorate Office is advised to strengthen policies related to these three factors to create a more supportive and productive work environment.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of service quality and customer trust on customer loyalty of Medan grooming consumers. This study uses a quantitative research type because the symptoms of the observation results are converted into numbers that are analyzed using statistics. Quantitative research requires researchers to explain how variables affect other variables. This study uses associative research, namely research to determine the relationship between two (or more) variables. The relationship between variables in the study will be analyzed using relevant statistical measures of the data to test the hypothesis. Sugiyono's associative research (2019) is a study that aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables. The results of the study show that service quality has a positive and significant effect on the customer loyalty of Medan Grooming consumers. Customer trust has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty of Medan Grooming consumers. In addition, service quality and customer trust have a positive and significant effect on the customer loyalty of Medan Grooming consumers.

Abstract

The success of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) does not only depend on profitability but also on entrepreneurial behavior and individual characteristics owned by business actors. This study aims to analyze the influence of these two factors on the success of MSMEs in the Sei Sikambing Traditional Market in Medan. The research method used was quantitative with a multiple linear regression approach, involving 55 traders as a sample. Data was collected through observations, questionnaires, and interviews, then analyzed using SPSS. The results showed that entrepreneurial behavior and individual characteristics simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on business success, with a contribution of 46.2%, while 53.8% was influenced by other factors. Individual characteristics such as tenacity, creativity, and adaptability have been proven to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs. Therefore, MSME actors need to improve their entrepreneurial skills and optimize individual characteristics to face increasing competitive market competition, especially in the era of digitalization.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly affected the health, economic and social sectors, including the film industry. In 2020, the South Korean film industry experienced a 73.3% decline in revenue, from 226.68 million tickets sold in 2019 to only 59.52 million tickets after cinemas closed. In contrast, Netflix experienced an increase in the number of global subscribers by 16 million in the first quarter of 2020. The South Korean film industry adapted to this condition through various strategies, including releasing films directly to streaming platforms, collaborating with Netflix for content distribution, and adjusting production budgets to maintain industry expectations. In comparison, similar trends are occurring in Hollywood and Europe, where the film industry is turning to video-on-demand services as a primary distribution alternative. This study analyzes the impact of the pandemic on the South Korean film industry and Netflix's role in maintaining the existence and profitability of this sector amidst the global crisis.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price and product quality on customer satisfaction at Warkop Agam Jalan Tanjung Selamat. The research method used is associative research with a quantitative approach. The population in this study is Warkop Agam customers over the past month, with a total of 701 customers. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula, so that 87 respondents were obtained. Data analysis was carried out by descriptive methods and multiple linear regression with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that (1) product quality had a positive and significant influence on customer satisfaction, with a significance value of 0.000 0.05 and t-count 6.601 t-table 1.988, (2) price also had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, with a significance value of 0.000 0.05 and t-count 5.032 t-table 1.988, and (3) product quality and price simultaneously had a significant effect on customer satisfaction. Regression analysis shows that product quality and price together explain 84.1% variability in customer satisfaction, as indicated by an Adjusted R Square value of 0.841. The results of the study show that improving product quality and price adjustment can increase customer satisfaction. Warkop Agam managers are advised to maintain quality, increase menu variety, and set competitive prices to maintain customer loyalty in the midst of business competition.
