Abstract

A number of behavior-based illnesses are linked to inadequate soap handwashing. This demonstrates how important it is to practice hand washing with soap (HWWS). Teaching children to wash their hands with soap at a young age is the goal of this education program. Children in school are the ideal audience for HWWS promotion activities since they are receptive to new information and eager to share it with others. This activity used the educational game method with Hand's Card media (picture cards) and installation of HWWS poster. This service was conducted on January 13 and 14, 2023, at five public elementary schools (SDN) in Bonto Matene Village, South Sulawesi: SDN 26 Mangkaca, SDN 9 Mangkaca, SDN 34 Citta, SDN 1 Segeri, and SDN 2 Segeri. Students in Bonto Matene Village's grade 4 elementary school are benefiting from this activity, as seen by their excitement and participation in HWWS instruction, as well as by the notable changes of knowledge (p-value0.05) that occur both before and after education. It is anticipated that students will be able to put HWWS into practice in order to foster a HWWS culture that can enhance health.

Abstract

The Teaching Campus is an MBKM (Free Learning Campus) program organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture with the aim of providing opportunities for students to learn and develop themselves through activities outside of lectures. This program gives students the opportunity to become teacher partners, encourage learning innovation, and develop literacy, numeracy, and technology adaptation in the 3T area. Focus is also given to efforts to increase people's interest in reading and the importance of literacy and numeracy, including the obstacles faced in its implementation. This research aims to revive the school literacy movement through literacy and numeracy familiarization activities. The research results show that technical training, understanding material concepts, and introducing technology are the main focuses of mentoring. The implementation of the Literacy and Numeracy Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) with technological devices provides positive results, including increasing understanding of numeracy material, individual development, motivation and self-confidence of students. This research provides a positive picture of the potential for improving the quality of basic education through the Teaching Campus program.

Abstract

Administrative units often rely on formally standardized Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that are poorly aligned with actual workload conditions, resulting in procedural inefficiency and role ambiguity. This community service program aimed to support the development of workload-based SOPs to improve administrative efficiency, role clarity, and service effectiveness. A Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach was employed, encompassing diagnostic assessment, participatory workload analysis, collaborative SOP design, pilot implementation, and reflective evaluation. Data were collected through document analysis, participatory observation, interviews, workload measurement, and correlation analysis. The findings indicate that existing SOPs were structurally misaligned with workload distribution, leading to task overlap and uneven work allocation. The redesigned SOPs, grounded in workload indicators and developed through participatory processes, enhanced procedural clarity, reduced functional overlap, and strengthened staff ownership. This program demonstrates that participatory, workload-based SOP design is an effective strategy for evidence-based administrative reform and sustainable organizational learning.
