Abstract

Abstract. Applying Fisher Yates Shuffle Algorithm on The Web-Based TOEFL Preparation Application. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) in Indonesia has been using paper all this time so the questions given to participants are still the same. Therefore, an application for randomizing the TOEFL questions is needed. The algorithm for randomizing the questions used is the Fisher Yates Shuffle algorithm, which is an algorithm to generate random permutations from a finite set. The purpose of this research is to make an application of the Fisher Yates Shuffle algorithm in the web based TOEFL Preparation application in Britania Purwokerto. Britania Purwokerto is an English language course in Banyumas. The method used to develop the application is the Extreme Programming (XP) method. After testing using the black box testing method, it is concluded that the fisher yates shuffle algorithm can be applied in the web based TOEFL Preparation application for the online TOEFL test in Britania Purwokerto.Keywords: Course Institution, TOEFL, Fisher Yates Shuffle, Extreme Programming.Abstrak. Ujian TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) di Indonesia selama ini masih menggunakan paper sehingga soal yang diberikan kepada peserta tetap sama. Oleh karena itu diperlukan aplikasi untuk mengacak soal ujian TOEFL. Algoritma pengacakan soal pada aplikasi yang digunakan yaitu algoritma Fisher Yates Shuffle, yang merupakan sebuah algoritma untuk menghasilkan permutasi acak dari suatu himpunan terhingga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuat aplikasi penerapan algoritma Fisher Yates Shuffle pada aplikasi TOEFL berbasis web untuk Britania Purwokerto. Britania Purwokerto merupakan lembaga kursus bahasa Inggris yang berada di Kabupaten Banyumas. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi adalah metode Extreme Programming (XP). Setelah dilakukan pengujian mengunakan metode black box testing disimpulkan bahwa algoritma Fisher Yates Shuffle dapat diterapkan pada aplikasi TOEFL Preparation berbasis web untuk ujian online di Britania Purwokerto. Kata Kunci: Lembaga Kursus, TOEFL, Fisher Yates Shuffle, Extreme Programming (XP).

Abstract

Hewan Kambing merupakan salah satu hewan yang banyak diminati oleh masyarakat untuk keperluan upacara agama atau dikonsumsi, permintaan hewan kambing meningkat pada saat menjelang hari raya idul adha untuk keperluan qurban. Untuk mendapatkan hewan kambing pembeli mencari di pasar hewan yang hanya buka 2 kali dalam satu minggu. Adanya biaya operasional dan Calo menjadikan harga dipembeli menjadi mahal, kurangnya media untuk mengetahui informasi peternak kambing dan harga kambing belum ada menjadikan pembeli mendapatkan harga yang mahal. Tujuan penelitian ini membangun aplikasi m-commerce berbasis android sebagai media informasi dan penjualan kambing yang dapat mempertemukan antara pembeli dan peternak kambing, sehingga pembeli mendapatkan harga yang murah, terhindar dari Calo dan pembeli mendapatkan kambing yang berkualitas. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengembangan perangkat lunak menggunakan model sekuensial linier dengan tahapan analisis, desain, kode, dan pengujian. Hasil dari penelitian ini aplikasi m-commerce yang digunakan sebagai media informasi dan penjualan kambing, aplikasi m-commerce dilakukan pengujian Blackbox dinyatakan aplikasi ini dapat digunakan. Pengujian selanjutnya untuk mengetahui kelayakan oleh pengguna dengan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 30 orang responden, Hasil peritungan memperoleh rating scale sebesar 71,5%, dengan demikian aplikasi sudah layak untuk digunakan.

Abstract

Penyakit jantung merupakan penyebab utama kematian di seluruh dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Identifikasi penyakit kardiovaskular (CVD) memerlukan pertimbangan berbagai faktor, seperti tekanan darah tinggi, kadar kolesterol, diabetes, dan lainnya, dengan gejala yang dapat bervariasi antar jenis kelamin. Meskipun angiografi dianggap metode yang akurat, biayanya tinggi dan kurang terjangkau oleh keluarga berpendapatan rendah. Biaya penyakit kardiovaskular juga memberikan dampak finansial signifikan pada sistem kesehatan. Dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan prediksi penyakit jantung, penelitian ini menggunakan metode ensemble learning, seperti Random Forest, Bagging, Adaboost, Gradient Boosting, dan XGBoost, dengan penyetelan hyperparameter. Eksperimen pada dataset gagal jantung menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknik Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) pada algoritma Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGB) memberikan hasil terbaik, mencapai akurasi 88.9%, F1-score 87.7%, dan Matthews Correlation Coefficient (MCC) 75.8%. Penggunaan metode balancing data, seperti SMOTE, ROS, dan RUS, secara signifikan memengaruhi performa algoritma, menyoroti pentingnya pemilihan metode sesuai dengan karakteristik dataset. Hasil ini memiliki implikasi penting dalam meningkatkan prediksi dan manajemen risiko kematian pada pasien gagal jantung secara dini dan lebih hemat biaya.

Abstract

Melaksanakan penelitian merupakan tugas seorang dosen. Dosen melaksanakan penelitian memiliki tugas mengembangkan suatu cabang ilmu pengetahuan dan/atau teknologi melalui penalaran dan penelitian ilmiah serta menyebarluaskannya baik secara perseorangan maupun berkelompok. Hasil karya ilmiah dosen dapat dipublikasikan dalam sebuah jurnal atau prosiding yang bereputasi nasional ataupun internasional. Berdasarkan data SINTA tahun 2023 rangking Universitas Amikom Purwokerto menempati ranking ke 302. Pada 3 tahun terakhir jumlah dokumen yang terindeks scopus mengalami penurunan. Hal ini dikarenakan sebagian besar dosen belum terbiasa untuk menulis karya ilmiah dengan standar internasional dan pengetahuan serta kemampuan dosen di bidang penulisan dan publikasi karya ilmiah belum mencukupi untuk menulis jurnal dengan standar internasional. Oleh karena itu kegiatan pengabdian masyarkat yang ditawarkan dengan memberikan pelatihan penulisan karya ilmiah pada dosen Universitas Amikom Purwokerto. Dengan tujuan meningkatkan kemampuan dosen membuat karya ilmiah, sehingga kualitas karya ilmiah yang dibuat sesuai standar internasional. Hasil kegiatan ini berjalan dengan lancar dan sebanyak 80% peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan baru penulisan artikel ilmiah yang sesuai dengan standar international.

Abstract

Abstract: Javanese culture is one of the cultures that existed in Indonesia. One of the many Javanese culture is a puppet. The role of Education in preserving the Puppet that is by implementing subject puppet stories Junior High School  syllabus in subjects of the Java language. Animated puppet stories "Drona Rangsang" is an animation that was created as a means of information learning more innovative and interesting. The idea of establishing this animated arise as solutions of problems faced by teachers of subjects Language Java SMP Negeri 2 Binangun, where in the delivery of the material teachers have difficulty because of the lack of interest and the interest of students towards subjects. This animation has been applied and used in SMP Negeri 2 Binangun in the process of teaching and learning. In making this animation method using MDLC (Multimedia Development Live Cycle) using the 6 (six) in the form of concept system development phase, designing, gathering materials, manufacturing, testing and distribution. The main software used to manipulate this animations are Proffesional Adobe Flash CS6. From the results of testing conducted through interviews with the Java language teachers claimed that animation is in compliance and can be used as well as the questionnaire against the 30 students produced a formula index of 83.50% strongly agree with categories. The conclusion of this animation is the process of learning students can be more interesting and full potential.Abstrak: Kebudayaan jawa merupakan salah satu kebudayaan yang ada di Indonesia. Salah satu dari sekian banyak kebudayaan Jawa adalah kesenian Wayang. Peran Dinas Pendidikan dalam melestarikan Kesenian Wayang yaitu dengan diterapkannya pokok bahasan cerita perwayangan pada silabus SMP mata pelajaran Bahasa Jawa. Animasi cerita wayang “Drona Rangsang” adalah suatu animasi yang dibuat sebagai sarana informasi pembelajaran yang lebih inovatif dan menarik. Gagasan dibuatnya animasi ini timbul sebagai solusi dari permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru mata pelajaran Bahasa Jawa SMP Negeri 02 Binangun, dimana dalam penyampaian materi guru mengalami kesulitan karena kurangnya minat dan ketertarikan siswa terhadap mata pelajaran. Animasi ini telah diterapkan dan digunakan di SMP Negeri 02 Binangun dalam proses belajar mengajar. Dalam pembuatannya animasi ini menggunakan metode MDLC (Multimedia Development Live Cycle) yang menggunakan 6 (enam) tahap pengembangan sistem berupa pengonsepan, perancangan, pengumpulan bahan, pembuatan, pengujian dan pendistribusian. Perangkat lunak utama yang digunakan untuk mengolah animasi ini adalah Adobe Flash Proffesional CS6. Dari hasil testing yang dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan guru Bahasa Jawa menyatakan bahwa animasi sudah sesuai dan dapat digunakan serta kuesioner terhadap 30 siswa dihasilkan rumus index sebesar 83,50% dengan kategori sangat setuju. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari animasi ini adalah proses belajar siswa dapat lebih menarik dan maksimal.

Abstract

Academic evaluation and graduation of students are critical components of an academic information system's (AIS) effectiveness since they allow for the measurement of student learning progress. Additionally, the assessment stating whether the student passed or failed would benefit both the student and teacher by acting as a reference point for future performance suggestions and evaluations. Using Decision Tree C4.5, a comprehensive analysis of the student academic evaluation approach was conducted. Age, gender, public or private high school status, high school department, organization activity, age at high school admission, progress GPA (pGPA), and total GPA (tGPA) were all documented and evaluated from semester 1–4 utilizing three times the graduation criterion periods. The article's scope is confined to undergraduate programs. An accuracy algorithm (AC) with a performance accuracy of 79.60 percent, a true positive rate (TP) of 77.70 percent, and 91 percent quality training data achieved the highest performance accuracy value.

Abstract

Arlinda shop is a shop that sells daily necessities located in Salem, Brebes. Each day, this shop generates more and more data that is not used. The store layout which does not get enough attention will affect the level of sales. This study aimed to process the unused transaction data to obtain purchase patterns, some of the most frequently used algorithms were the apriori algorithm and FP-Growth algorithm to find relationship patterns, however, there was a technical constraint in the recommendation technique used which was frequently ignoring a large collection of items. To overcome this problem, the clustering process was carried out using the K-Medoids algorithm so that the association process became smaller. The test was carried out using RapidMiner with a minimum support of 10% - 30% and a minimum confidence of 70% and the results of recommendations for the layout of the goods with the highest lift ratio, namely if someone buys Nuvo BW then he buys pepsodent act, if someone buys wrapping papers then he buys mamy poko, and if someone buys cereal milo then he buys chitato.

Abstract

The problem of air pollution has become a global issue that has received attention from various countries. Jakarta, Indonesia's capital city, is unavoidable from the same problem. This study will use four parameters of substances PM10, SO2, CO, O3, and nitrogen dioxide to categorize Jakarta's air quality (NO2). The data used is daily data taken from the Air Quality Monitoring Station in Jakarta throughout 2020. The methods used include SVM, Random Forest, Logistic Regression, KNN, CART, and Stacking Algorithm. At the data preparation stage, we found missing values, outliers, and class imbalance problems. Before applying machine learning methods and evaluating accuracy, we used data pre-processing techniques such as the MissForest method, median substitution, and ADASYN. The results prove that the original dataset has a higher accuracy score (0.882 – 0.977) than the balanced dataset (0.829 – 0.976). According to the evaluation results, the Random Forest method has the highest accuracy score for original and balanced datasets. The overall result is better than the identical research, which produces 96.61% accuracy using a neural network. It shows that preprocessing steps such as missing values handling an imbalanced class handling is essential in classification performance.

Abstract

Numeracy is very important for junior high school students to learn because it has a significant impact on daily life such as problem solving abilities, critical thinking abilities and the ability to apply mathematical concepts in various situations. The numeracy ability index at junior high school level in Purbalingga Regency is rated "below minimum competency" with a score of 1.73 (scale 1-3). Problems among students at SMP N 1 Kertaengara related to numeracy include students having difficulty understanding basic mathematical concepts and more complex mathematical concepts. Another problem is that the numeracy teaching methods used by teachers are still monotonous and do not use technology. Therefore, efforts are needed to increase student numeracy, one of the efforts that can be made by utilizing technology. This activity aims to improve understanding of numeracy by utilizing technology so that students' numeracy skills increase. There are 3 stages of training starting from preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of this activity can improve numeracy skills in a more effective and enjoyable way by utilizing technology in learning.

Abstract

The creation of scientific works is inseparable from the activities of searching, processing, and citing existing information. Mistakes in obtaining information or citing from literary sources will result in significant problems. Accusations of plagiarism and even legal action can be taken against individuals who produce scientific articles with the label of plagiarism. The writing methods or the use of citation management tools are still not optimal in reducing the level of plagiarism. The knowledge and awareness of writers about the importance of preserving and respecting the works of others become crucial to understand. Training becomes an effective solution to enhance the knowledge and awareness of writers about the importance of preserving and respecting the works of others, which are intellectual properties. The method used in the training involved lectures and discussions, integrating the material into the Information Technology Ethics, Regulation, and Cyber Law course. After the community service activities were conducted, it can be concluded that 79% of students felt an increase in knowledge regarding the dangers and importance of avoiding plagiarism, and the community service activities were effective in providing education and understanding to the students.
