ABDIRA (Journal of Community Service): Journal of Community Service contains the results of community service and empowerment activities in the form of application of various fields of science including health, education, engineering, agriculture, agriculture, social humanities, computers, entrepreneurship and economics. Abstract

Seashell craft micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Serangan, Bali, have considerable potential to develop as part of a creative economy based on local resources. However, limited financial record-keeping literacy and understanding of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) remain challenges in business management. This community engagement program aimed to strengthen partners’ financial literacy through simple financial record-keeping, separation of personal and business finances, identification of production costs, and basic COGS calculation. The program adopted a participatory approach involving socialization, training and mentoring, implementation of simple record-keeping tools, evaluation, and sustainability planning. Pre- and post-tests indicated an increase in the average understanding score from 45.50 to 68.00, representing a 49.45% improvement. The highest gains were observed in production cost identification (66.67%) and COGS understanding (60.47%). The program strengthened partners’ capacity to manage business finances, supported by continued monitoring of transaction records and the use of COGS as a basis for pricing decisions.

Abstract

Bullying is a social issue that can impact character development, self-confidence, and the quality of human resources, particularly among adolescents. This community service activity aims to enhance participants’ understanding of bullying prevention and to foster positive character through financial literacy and human resource development. The activity was conducted through outreach sessions, interactive education, discussions, and simple practical exercises on financial management. The material presented covered an introduction to the forms and impacts of bullying, bullying prevention efforts, fostering an attitude of mutual respect, basic financial management, and the importance of responsibility and self-development. The hope for integrating financial literacy into this activity is to foster disciplined, responsible, and independent behavior, as well as the ability to make wise decisions. The results of the program showed an increase in participants’ understanding of the effects of bullying, the importance of building positive social relationships, and their capabilities.

Abstract

This community service program was initiated because digital teaching materials used by teachers at SDN 1 Jepun Tulungagung were scattered across several platforms, making access and reuse difficult. The program aimed to assist 22 teachers in developing a Digital Learning Hub integrated with Google Sites and QR Codes while strengthening 21st-century skills. Participatory Action Research was implemented through initial identification and reflection, participatory planning, mentoring action, and evaluation with follow-up reflection. The mentoring covered page organization, insertion of materials, videos, electronic worksheets, quizzes, QR Code creation and testing, and the design of 4C-oriented activities. Evaluation used two separate closed-ended questionnaires with a 1-5 scale and descriptive analysis. Teachers' final understanding reached 97.00%, while responses to the mentoring reached 92.55%; both results were categorized as very good. The findings underscore the importance of practical and sustained mentoring for organized, accessible, and 4C-oriented digital learning management.
