Abstract

Pesan merupakan Sesuatu yang disampaikan dari pengirim ke penerima. Pesan dapat berupa teks, audio, video maupun gambar. Proses penyampaian pesan teks pada smartphone android belum dilengkapi keamanan yang memadai. Sehingga pesan yang telah dikirim ataupun telah diterima dapat dilihat oleh orang lain. Kerahasiaan pesan yang telah dikirim dan diterima menjadi tidak terjamin. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, penulis ingin membangun sebuah aplikasi kriptografi yang dapat digunakan dalam keamanan pada saat proses pengiriman dan penerimaan pesan. Aplikasi kriptografi yang dibangun penulis dapat melakukan enkripsi dan deskripsi pesan yang akan di kirim atau yang telah diterima dengan menggunakan metode Triple DES berbasis mobile. Sedangkan metode pengembangan aplikasi yang digunakan adalah metode waterfall, terdiri dari analisis, desain, coding, testing dan implementasi. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, diharapkan akan memberikan keamanan pada pengguna smartphone android dalam melakukan pengiriman maupun penerimaan pesan.

Abstract

Random user mobility on a WLAN network allows users to move away from the access point (AP) that serves them so it has an impact on the possibility of users losing connectivity to the communication network. This study aims to simulate handover performance at the Faculty of Science and Technology UIN North Sumatra to maintain network QoS by using the comparison method of RSSI AP1 and AP2 values ​​and comparing RSSI values ​​with Threshold values. The computational results on the RSSI comparison method with the threshold are carried out at a distance of 15 meters, and the comparison of the RSSI AP1 values ​​has dropped below the RSSI AP2 values ​​with values ​​of -64.35 dBm and -62.75 dBm respectively. Meanwhile, in the threshold method, the RSSI AP1 value is below the threshold so that the user connectivity service will be transferred to AP2. This research is expected so that the Faculty of Science and Technology can obtain information on the quality of WLAN network services through mobile devices.

Abstract

Implikasi penerapan mikrokontroler pada berbagai bidang menarik banyak minat untuk mempelajarinya. Namun terdapat beberapa pengetahuan dasar yang perlu dipersiapkan yaitu pengetahuan dasar terkait fungsi dan jenis komponen, analisa rangkaian elektronika, serta kemampuan dasar dalam pemrograman. Hal tersebut dapat diperoleh dari beberapa cara, salah satunya dengan menggunakan media simulasi. Pada kegiatan pelatihan, peserta pelatihan akan diperkenalkan dengan media simulasi mikrokontroler berbasis aplikasi web yaitu tinkercad. Aplikasi berbasis web tinkercad akan memberikan pengalaman pelatihan menarik bagi peserta pelatihan dengan visualiasi komponen elektronika yang mendekati bentuk aslinya. Selain itu aplilkasi web tinkercad memiliki fitur simulasi yang dapat mendeskripsikan hasil rancangan yang dibangun oleh perserta pelatihan. Pada pelaksanaan pelatihan masing-masing peserta akan disajikan materi dasar terkait fungsi dan jenis komponen elektronika serta mekanisme perancangan sistem kendali otomatis sederhana berbasis mikrokontroler yanng didemonstrasikan menggunakan aplikasi web tinkercad. Hasil evaluasi pelatihan menunjukkan antusiasme dan motivasi positif peserta pelatihan yang ditandai dengan nilai hasil evaluasi penyelenggaraan pelatihan memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 96,3%. Pasca pelatihan diharapkan peserta pelatihan dapat mengasah kemampuan dan ketertarikan dalam bidang mikroprosesor dengan menggunakan media simulasi tinkercad sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi.

Abstract

Sumatera Utara merupakan provinsi di Indonesia yang terletak di bagian utara Pulau Sumatera dan beribukota di Kota Medan. Sumatera Utara memiliki berbagai jenis objek wisata salah satunya adalah objek wisata alam yang sangat banyak dan tersebar di berbagai Kabupaten. Namun, masih banyak penduduk Sumatera Utara dan wisatawan yang belum mengetahuinya. Minimnya informasi yang diperoleh tentang objek wisata alam tersebut merupakan salah satu hambatan yang terjadi dalam proses pengenalan objek wisata alam di Sumatera Utara. Tujuannya penulis melakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk membangun sebuah aplikasi mobile menggunakan Location Based Service (LBS) yang dapat digunakan sebagai media dalam memperkenalkan serta memberikan informasi lokasi objek wisata alam yang terhubung langsung dengan aplikasi Google Maps pada Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Metode pengembangan aplikasi yang digunakan penulis pada penelitian adalah metode Rapid Application Development (RAD) yang terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan kebutuhan, desain, dan pembangunan atau konstruksi. Metode RAD merupakan metode yang memiliki proses pengembangan ringkas untuk menghasilkan sistem dengan kualitas tinggi dengan biaya rendah. Sedangkan tool yang digunakan penulis untuk menggambarkan rancangan aplikasi secara visual adalah Unified Modeling Language (UML) yang terdiri dari Use Case Diagram, Sequence Diagram dan Activity Diagram. Dalam proses pembangunan aplikasi, penulis menggunakan tools Kodular dan database Airtable. Dengan adanya aplikasi ini, diharapkan dapat membantu wisatawan dalam memperoleh informasi mengenai objek wisata alam yang berada di Provinsi Sumatera melalui smartphone android.

Abstract

Meeting management is a series of activities aimed at planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating a meeting or meeting to achieve certain goals. The Bureau of Government and Regional Autonomy at the Office of the Governor of North Sumatra functions as a technical institution that handles government affairs and regional autonomy under the coordination of the governor. It is not uncommon for this bureau to hold meetings every day. When holding a meeting, meeting management such as attendance lists and meeting minutes are still done manually using paper and recorded by hand and then stored in a storage room. Manual processes like this tend to be time consuming and can increase the risk of errors. Seeing this problem, the need for the process of checking information on availability and confirming the borrowing of a room to be used for meetings takes a relatively longer time so it becomes an obstacle. The aim is to design and implement an effective information management system to increase the efficiency of meeting minutes in government bureaus and regional autonomy. This system was built by modeling several UML diagrams such as use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. It is hoped that the Bureau of Government and Regional Autonomy at the Office of the Governor of North Sumatra can improve the quality of education which can be realized through the appropriate and efficient use of information technology.

Abstract

The system currently used is experiencing problems in handling using bookkeeping techniques which involve rewriting records into ledgers and then converting them to MS. Excel is to be produced as a financial report, so the report produced is late and inaccurate. problems in recording and reporting incoming and outgoing financial data, as well as in several months incoming and outgoing can reach targets. This often happens when recording financial data. This is caused by a helper or admin error. The administration department is recording data on money coming in and money going out. Additionally, accumulating a large number of filings can help record necessary financial data, and searching for filings can be time consuming as well as other tasks. The aim of this research is to develop an inventory management application that can manage money in or money out data, inventory data, and delivery data with agencies. This is a developer about a website that was created to simplify incoming money data and outgoing money data so that it can help business processes in the company. Web-based financial applications in companies have an important role in coordinating and accelerating company financial processes. With real-time access to financial data, this application allows management to track cash flow, combine transactions, and compile financial reports quickly and accurately. Budget management becomes more efficient, and the integration of online payment features makes the transaction process easier. In addition, the application supports audits and provides financial regulation, increasing the security of company data. In designing the interface and developing a web-based financial application system, namely identifying the company's business needs to ensure the application is in accordance with company policies and goals. Through user analysis and user experience (UX) design, intelligent and effective interfaces are developed. Wireframing and prototyping processes were used to design the application structure taking into account the specific needs of the research.

Abstract

The system currently used experiences problems in handling recipient and delivery data, customer data, and inventory data which are recorded on paper and only copied by the admin to the company computer. These problems can result in product calculation errors, problems in recording and reporting product recipients and deliveries, and in several months the product in and out can reach the target. There are often differences in inventory. This is caused by a helper or admin error. The warehouse department is recording, receiving and sending products. In addition, the accumulation of large numbers of files can make it difficult to find the product data you need, and searching files can take time and interfere with other tasks. The aim of this research is to develop an inventory management application that can manage recipient or delivery data, inventory data, and delivery data using visual modeling used in building object-oriented systems and waterfall system development methods. This is about developing a website that is created to simplify incoming goods data and outgoing goods data so that it can help business processes in the company.

Abstract

All information in data exchange transactions on communication networks travels through the network infrastructure. The network infrastructure sends various types of data, including text, images, and documents with various extensions. These documents may be private and confidential. Therefore, it is crucial to have a message security option that is not only user-friendly but also has a high level of security system complexity. The purpose of this research is to build a text message security system using the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm on mobile devices. We can utilize it as a security solution to safeguard text messages received through mobile devices. The AES security algorithm is known to have reliability in processing data encryption and decryption. The research will describe components such as the design, implementation, and analysis of application requirements. Important features include encryption, decryption, and key management in addition to an easy-to-use UI. The research findings show that this program successfully secures text messages while maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of the data sent. Additionally, we adjusted the application's parameters to align with mobile device standards, ensuring consistent encryption and decryption procedures that users can easily operate. For application testing, we use the black box testing method to ensure that the design and application function as intended, adhere to security regulations, and provide a positive user experience. This study's results suggest that AES-based mobile messaging security applications can serve as a tool to fulfill the secure communication expectations of mobile users.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze public sentiment towards Starlink through tweets collected using the hashtag "starlink." The data crawling process was successful in collecting 1888 tweets. However, upon checking and processing the data, we reduced the number of valid and relevant tweets to 416. This reduction occurred due to duplicate data and the use of common keywords. We performed sentiment classification using the Naive Bayes model, yielding the following sentiment distribution: We classified 287 tweets (68.99%) as positive, 112 tweets (26.92%) as neutral, and 17 tweets (4.09%) as negative. The model performance evaluation shows good results with a recall of 0.80, precision of 0.90, F1 score of 0.83, and accuracy score of 0.80. The results of this study indicate that the majority of tweets related to Starlink have positive sentiments, indicating a generally favorable public perception of the service. A small proportion of tweets showed neutral and negative sentiments, which can provide valuable input for service improvement. The Naive Bayes model is able to classify sentiment with fairly high accuracy, making it one of the most effective tools for sentiment analysis.
