Morning sickness is caused by an increase in the hormones estrogen, progesterone, human chorionic gonadotropin expenditure and can be reduced by administering lavender aromatherapy. The research objective was to determine the effectiveness of giving lavender aromatherapy to reduce vomiting and nausea in first trimester pregnant women. The research method used was a quasy experiment with a pretest-posttest approach with a control group design. The sampling technique used was quota sampling, the sample size being 30 first trimester pregnant women in the Limboto Health Center area which were divided into a control group and an experimental group. This study shows that there is an effect of giving lavender aromatherapy to reduce nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women at the Limboto Health Center. The kind of research is quantitative using experimental design spring. Samples are to be taken as many as 30 people that is 15 people to the control group and 15 people to the case. This study was conducted from September -November 2022. The research results show there is no difference between the healing of wounds in the perineum control compress betadine with clusters of cases that do not compress betadine (the test Mann Whitney U p-value = 0,129 > 0,05) so that it can be concluded that both compress and non compress betadine and it is the same with betadine have a chance to heal in good

Stunting is a malnutrition problem that occurs globally and has long-term impacts on both health and cognitive. There have been no studies related to sociodemographic factors towards stunting in one of the areas with the most stunting rates in Gorontalo. This study aims to provide an overview of the prevalence of stunting and associated factors. This research method is descriptive with a cross-sectional approach in 325 children aged 6-59 months, in 8 villages in Tilango District, Gorontalo Regency. Mothers who met the criteria and came to the posyandu sequentially (consecutive sampling) were given a questionnaire. The prevalence of stunting is 116 (35.7%). Mothers who give birth to children with Birth Length (OR=3.65; 95% CI: 2.261-5.88), Birth Weight (OR:7.3; 95% CI: 3.774-14.238), Exclusive Breastfeeding (OR=3.586; 95% CI: 2.217-5.799, and Complementary Foods (OR=3.586; 95% CI: 2.217-5.799) associating against stunting. The conclusion of this study is that the prevalence of stunting in the Tilango District area is still very high, but only four of the 12 sociodemographic factors studied are associated with stunting. Nutritional status screening, monitoring of weight gain during pregnancy, as well as regular ANC examinations are important for Midwives and pregnant women at every contact, especially in first-level health facilities.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of prenatal yoga on sleep quality of third trimester of pregnant women. The research method used is pre-experiment one group pretest-posttest design, with total sampling and got 30 respondents of third trimester of pregnant women who meet the inclusion criteria. The research instrument used the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) then the data was analyzed with Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and got Z-score -5.292 with ρ value 0.0001 (less than 0.05) so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected, which means that there is an effectiveness of prenatal yoga on sleep quality of third trimester of pregnant women. Practicing prenatal yoga regularly can keep the mind and body relaxed, so the pregnant women can sleep comfortably

The intervention was carried out by establishing and implementing an online parenting classes program. Data collection was carried out through a questionnaire in the form of a Google form that was given before and after the intervention. Data analysis used the SPPS paired t-test. The result obtained is a p-value of 0.000 which means <0.05. From this it shows that there is an influence of implementing online parenting classes on the entrepreneurial interest of midwifery students.

The maternal mortality rate in Indonesia is categorized as high, caused by gender problems, namely the inability of women in making decisions related to self-readiness to face pregnancy, and the selection of helpers before childbirth. The purpose of the study was to determine the gender relationship regarding midwifery service decision-making, facing childbirth in third trimester pregnant women at the Malinau Health Center. Analytical observational research methods are used, with a cross-sectional design. The study sample was totaling 45 people. The data was analyzed with the Chi Square test. As a result, 23 respondents (51.11%) made inappropriate decisions about choosing midwifery services. Gender roles were 24 people (53.33%) in the ‘less’ category. There is a significant relationship between gender roles and decision-making for midwifery services facing childbirth in the third trimester of pregnant women at the Malinau Health Center in 2023, where the p-Value value = 0.001 < α = 0.05 is obtained. It was found that there was a significant relationship between gender roles and decision-making of midwifery services facing childbirth in third trimester pregnant women. Health workers should be more sensitive to gender issues, in carrying out midwifery care for patients

The implementation of stunting detection can be done by providing health education information through information technology in the form of smartphones using an android-based application, namely the Stunting-Free Children (SFC) Application containing information about stunting and guidelines in detecting growth in children. The aim is to analyze the effect of SFC application on kindergarten teachers' knowledge and attitudes about stunting. This study used pseudo-experiments, with a form of pre-posttest with a control design. The sample of the study was 80 kindergarten teachers in Luewigoong District. Divided into 2 groups (intervention group using SFC application and control group using leaflet media). Sampling based on probability sampling techniques by simple random sampling. Statistical testing using the Chi Square and the average difference tests of two unpaired groups (Wilxocon test). The results showed that the effect of the application of SFC application on increasing knowledge by 22.7 (p < 0.05) with RR 1.5 (CI 95%) means that the SFC application can increase kindergarten teachers' knowledge about stunting. There was no effect of the application of SFC application on improving kindergarten teachers' attitudes about stunting (p>0.05). Recommendations for routine use of the SFC application by teachers in order to detect stunting events early

Empowering pregnant women through education on pregnancy and delivery, including interventions such as Hypnobirthing and prenatal yoga, is essential to alleviate anxiety and promote a healthy pregnancy. This study aims to assess the impact of hypnobirthing and prenatal yoga on anxiety levels in pregnant women during their third trimester. The research employed an observational analytical experimental approach, utilizing a randomized control trial design. It was conducted in the independent practice of midwives in the Klaten regency from March to June 2020. The population in this study was all pregnant women who were in the working area of the Kebondalem Lor health centre, whose gestational age was above 28 weeks, a total of 120 respondents. The study employed simple random sampling for participant selection and univariate analysis. Statistical bivariate tests using the paired and independent sample test were also conducted. There was a significant difference in decreasing anxiety after pregnant women in the third trimester did Hypnobirthing and Prenatal Yoga, with a p-value of 0.001. There was a significant difference between Hypnobirthing and Prenatal Yoga in decreasing anxiety, with a p-value of 0.01. Additionally, prenatal yoga was found to be more effective in reducing anxiety than hypnobirthing.
