Abstract

Back pain is a common occurrence in pregnant women and will increase when the mother enters the third trimester. One effort to reduce back pain experienced by pregnant women is to do prenatal yoga. Prenatal yoga can help pregnant women to stretch their joints and to relax the mother's body and mind during pregnancy. This study aims to determine the effect of prenatal yoga on back pain experienced by pregnant women in the third trimester. This type of research is Quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test control group approach. The population in this study were 35 respondents of pregnant women in the third trimester at the Anugrah Surabaya Pratama Clinic, the research sample was 32 respondents. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The Bourbannais pain scale was used as a research tool. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test, a p-value of 0.001 was obtained, which means that there is an effect of prenatal yoga on back pain in pregnant women in the third trimester. Based on the results of the Mann-Whitney U Test, a p-value of 0.007 was obtained, which means that there is a difference in the level of back pain scale in pregnant women in the third trimester at the Anugrah Surabaya Pratama Clinic. Further research is expected to be used as a reference for comparison by expanding the population and variables and replacing the comparison group with other better media.

Abstract

Based on WHO data, that only 44% of newborns in the world get breast milk within the first hour from birth, there are still a few babies under the age of 6 months who are exclusively breastfed. The 2020 National Basic Health Research (Riskesdas) revealed that in Indonesia with a prevalence of 65.7% and the Coverage of IMD babies in Bangka Belitung province was 77.57%, down compared to 2019 (80.11%). One effort that can be used to increase milk production is using the acupressure technique. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of acupressure therapy on increasing milk production in postpartum mothers. The design uses a quasi-experimental method with pretest and posttest design without control group. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with the number of respondents 20 postpartum. Univariate and bivariate data analysis. The results showed that p value is 0,000 (p < 0,05) on t-test. This proves that there is a significant difference in increasing milk production in postpartum mothers between before and after acupressure therapy. It is recommended for midwives to perform acupressure as a complement in postnatal midwifery care regarding the problem of increasing milk production in postpartum mothers.

The sampling technique used accidental sampling due to the short research period and limited injectable contraceptive acceptors. data was obtained through pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The results of the analysis obtained a sig value of 0.002, where the p value is 0.05, which means that there is an influence of the use of booklets on the knowledge of 3-month contraceptive injection acceptors. It is determined that there is no impact of utilizing the booklet on the knowledge of 3-month injectable birth control acceptors since the sig value of 0.083 is more than >0.05 in contrast to the attitude value. Abstract

Stunting is a posture that is not maximal and cognitive abilities are reduced due to chronic malnutrition conditions. The highest prevalence of stunting at 35% was South Asia followed by East and South Africa at 34.1% and West and Central Africa at 33.7% . The upbringing that parents give to the child becomes a very important point to pay attention to. Most likely the occurrence of stunting in the child is significantly influenced by the parenting of the parents. To find out the relationship between maternal parenting and stanting incidence in children aged 2-5 years in Kumbang Village, Blang Mangat District, Lhokseumawe City in 2023 This type of research This type of research is analytical observation research with case control design. Samples in this study are as many as Number of case samples and controls using a 1:1 ratio so that the number of case samples is equal to the number of control samples i.e. 30 case samples, 30 control samples, sampling is done by proportional stratified simple random sampling. There was a significant relationship between health care and stunting incidence in children aged 2-5 years (p = 0.017, OR = 6,000). This means that less health care would be at risk as many as 6,000 times of causing stunting events
