Abstract

To ensure the reliability of measurement results, the calibration laboratory of the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) requires accurate control of temperature and humidity. Conventional manual monitoring methods are susceptible to errors caused by human interaction and environmental fluctuations. To address this challenge, a web-based monitoring system has been developed. This system automates the measurement of temperature and humidity, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing the risk of human error. Two prototype meters have been integrated into the system, which have been proven to have an accuracy of over 90% for temperature measurements. The system is capable of measuring humidity in the range of 0% to 100% with an accuracy of ±5% and temperature in the range of -40°C to 80°C with an accuracy of ±0.1°C. By automating the monitoring process and providing real-time data access, this system makes a significant contribution to improving the reliability and efficiency of the BMKG calibration laboratory. The implementation of this system is expected to ensure the consistency of calibration measurement results, support the optimal functioning of the laboratory, and contribute to improving the quality of meteorological, climatological, and geophysical services in Indonesia.

Abstract

Telemedicine is an online medical service that allows users to receive treatment or health consultations without needing to visit healthcare facilities in person. One of the popular platforms providing this service is Halodoc. On this platform, users can consult with doctors via chat, make hospital appointments with partner facilities, purchase medications, check lab results, and receive health updates. This study aims to evaluate the user experience of the Halodoc application using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire distributed via Google Forms to facilitate participation. A total of 200 participants were involved in this study. The evaluation was based on six UEQ dimensions: Attractiveness, Efficiency, Perspicuity, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. The evaluation results show that the Halodoc application received a score of -1.04 on the Attractiveness dimension (negative), 1.29 on Efficiency (positive), 0.28 on Perspicuity (positive), -1.10 on Dependability (negative), 1.51 on Stimulation (positive), and 0.92 on Novelty (positive). Based on these results, it can be concluded that overall, Halodoc provides a "Good" user experience, although there are some areas for improvement, particularly in the Attractiveness and Dependability dimensions.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in Indonesia has growing up significantly in the last few years. Thus, there are many opportunities to digitize the business processes of a business and business ecosystem. One of them is in the field of digital economy by adapting business processes into a digital platform, as well as designing an E-Commerce platform in a village that has commodities inside it and increase the product visibility. This research uses Belega Village as a case study location considering that this village has commodities in the form of bamboo crafts. Research was conducted to build an android-based bamboo craft E-Commerce application which is expected to increase product visibility. The application itself is built using the Agile Development method using a Sprint model. This application is built with a microservices architecture with Express.js technology as a backend service and React Native to create client applications and PostgreSQL as a DBMS. The results of this research are in the form of an android-based E-Commerce application that is expected to increase the visibility of products from bamboo crafts from Belega Village.

Abstract

Traditional learning methods in Early Childhood Education (PAUD), such as textbooks and blackboards, are still widely used and tend to be less engaging, resulting in passive and less motivated students. This study aims to design and develop a web-based learning application with gamification features for PAUD Desa Boafeo. The development process employed the waterfall method through stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The application includes features such as counting, number recognition, and word spelling, enhanced with gamification elements to create a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience. Black box testing results indicate that all features function as intended. The findings conclude that the proposed application supports teachers in delivering materials effectively and contributes to improving students’ learning motivation and overall learning effectiveness.

Abstract

Hair loss is a common problem experienced by various groups, both men and women. In 2023, a survey found that 64.7% of hair problems were hair loss, followed by dandruff, dry hair, dull hair, limp hair, and oily hair. The causes of hair loss are diverse, ranging from genetic and hormonal factors to lifestyle. To accurately identify and classify the types of hair loss, a method is needed that can handle data efficiently and accurately. This study aims to classify types of hair loss using the Naive Bayes method, a classification algorithm in data mining based on probability and Bayes' theorem. The data used consists of various attributes such as staying up late, brain activity duration, stress levels, dandruff, and hormones. The Naive Bayes method was chosen because of its ability to handle data with a large number of attributes and produce fairly accurate predictions even with the assumption of independence between features. The results of the study show that the Naive Bayes method is capable of classifying types of hair loss with an accuracy rate of 76.67%. These findings indicate that this method can be used as a tool to aid in the rapid and efficient initial diagnosis of hair loss problems.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media using an Inquiry-Based Learning (IBL) model to enhance history learning interest among Grade X students at SMA NU Hasyim Asy’ari Tarub. The research was motivated by the low student interest caused by monotonous and traditional teaching methods. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, the media was designed to feature interactive 3D objects of prehistoric humans, including Homo Soloensis, Pithecantropus erectus, and Homo Florensiensis, supplemented with audio and video. The application was developed using Unity 3D and Vuforia for Android devices. Validation from material, media, and language experts yielded scores of 49, 49, and 46 respectively, categorizing the media as "highly feasible." Classroom implementation garnered a very positive response with an average score of 116.4 from 26 students. A paired sample t-test comparing pre-test and post-test scores showed a statistically significant increase in learning interest, with a mean score difference of 14.40 at a 95% confidence level. These findings conclude that the AR-IBL learning media is highly effective and suitable for increasing student engagement and interest in history.
