Abstract

This thesis evaluates the acceptance of the E-counseling system at the University of Jambi using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 3 (UTAUT 3) model. This research is based on the problem of mental health levels in students supported by data from WHO and the Ministry of Health. The University of Jambi provides online counseling services to help students solve their problems, but from the pre-research it was found that the level of knowledge and use of E-counseling is still very low. This study aims to implement the UTAUT 3 model which is used to identify factors that influence the acceptance of E-counseling at the University of Jambi. This study took a sample of 100 respondents from all active undergraduate students at the University of Jambi. The analysis technique used in this study is PLS-SEM (Partial Last Structural Equation Modeling) which uses the SmartPLS 4 application in its data calculation. The results obtained from the data calculation show that there are 4 hypotheses that have a significant influence, namely Habit on Use Behavior, Personal Innovativeness on Behavioral Intention, Hedonic Motivation on Behavioral Intention, and Facilitating Conditions on Use Behavior and 8 other hypotheses that do not have a significant influence, namely Performance Expectancy on Behavioral Intention, Effort Expectancy on Behavioral Intention, Social Influence on Behavioral Intention, Facilitating Condition on Behavioral Intention, Price Value on Behavioral Intention, Habit on Behavioral Intention, Personal Innovativeness on Use Behavior and Behavioral Intention on Use Behavior.

Abstract

User Experience (UX) is a crucial aspect in determining the effectiveness of digital learning systems. This study aims to design and evaluate a book-based digital learning system prototype using the Design Thinking approach. The research was conducted through five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, and observations involving students, lecturers, and publishers. The evaluation applied a triangulation strategy combining the System Usability Scale (SUS), heatmap analysis, and semi-structured interviews. The results indicate an average SUS score of 70, which is above the minimum benchmark of 68, although improvements are still needed in visual design and navigation. Heatmap analysis revealed that most navigation elements were successfully used, but some icons were not recognized and certain menus were rarely accessed. The interviews reinforced these findings, highlighting that the system supports lecturers in monitoring and enhances student engagement, yet issues remain regarding button color contrast, label consistency, and the speed of accessing large files. These results demonstrate that Design Thinking, when combined with triangulated evaluation, can produce a book-based digital learning system that is more interactive, adaptive, and collaborative. This study contributes to the literature by emphasizing that integrating user-centered design with triangulation methods can significantly improve UX quality in higher education digital learning contexts.

Abstract

The development of the Village Openness Information System (SiKD) aims to encourage transparency and community participation in managing village government. This research highlights the importance of using information technology in improving the performance of village governments, especially in Mekarsari Village (Sukabumi), Garumukti Village (Garut), and Bantar Kulon Village (Pekalongan). These three villages have mountainous geographical characteristics and limited transportation access, but have great potential in the agricultural sector. The research methodology uses the Spiral Model which involves the stages of problem identification, planning, risk analysis, engineering, construction and release, and user evaluation. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews with village officials and community leaders. The research results show that the development of SiKD with the Spiral Model allows the preparation of detailed and systematic digital data, which is presented in the form of a dashboard. The SiKD dashboard facilitates measurable and sustainable village development planning, focuses on utilizing village funds according to residents' needs, and accelerates the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The implementation of SiKD is expected to increase information transparency and the performance of village government services effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of digital intelligence on social interaction, especially in the context of Islamic culture in Indonesia in the era of technological disruption. This research uses a literature study method with a qualitative approach, where data is obtained from relevant literature, including journals, books and articles published between 2018 and 2023. Data collection was conducted through Google Scholar with keyword sorting techniques related to Indonesian culture and social interaction. The results show that the development of digital intelligence, especially in the aspect of digital communication, has a significant impact on people's social interactions. Although technology provides convenience in communication, it also contributes to the decline of the values of direct interaction that were previously an integral part of Islamic culture. In addition, new challenges arise in the form of the spread of false information that can affect social harmony. In conclusion, digital intelligence offers solutions for society to adapt to digital life.

Abstract

Breast cancer is one of the diseases that causes death and is one of the most frightening leading causes worldwide. This disease falls under the category of highly dangerous cancers, ranking second after lung cancer. Breast cancer cases occur in large numbers across various regions of the world, raising significant concerns globally. Breast cancer not only affects the quality of life of patients but also contributes significantly to the global cancer mortality rate. It ranks as the fifth leading cause of cancer-related deaths, accounting for approximately 16.6% of the total cancer deaths worldwide. In this study, a classification of blood sample data from breast cancer patients was conducted. Various classification techniques and methods were applied, including the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) method and Naïve Bayes (NB). To achieve accurate results, this study tested accuracy using Cross Validation techniques and a Confusion Matrix to evaluate the test data. Of the total 569 data points collected, 70% were used as training data, amounting to 398 data points, while the remaining 30%, or 171 data points, were used as test data. The results of this study showed that the Naïve Bayes method produced an accuracy rate of 96%, with a precision of 94% and a recall of 91%. On the other hand, the K-Nearest Neighbor method yielded a lower accuracy rate of 73%, with a precision of 74% and a recall of 66%, using K=7.

Abstract

The current condition of modern warship construction in 2019 by Indonesia shipyard and Overseas shipyard, show several issues, including corrosion, problems with the air system and challenges related to electrical systems. Therefore, a root cause analysis is neede to identify the sources of theses problems. This study adopts a qualitative descriptive method that allows for a deeper and more flexible exploration of the technical issues ebcounted, utilizing data processing with Nvivo software. Additionally, a strategic analysis is conducted to elevate the strengths and weaknesses of the modern warship’sconstructions through a SWOT analysis approach. The types of data used in this research include primary data obtained through interviews and observations , as well as secondary data collected from relevant documents. The results indicate that 1) Corrosion on submarine  is caused by coating applications and construction designs that are not in accordance with standards and lack of protection by cathodic protection systems. 2) Problems with the humidity  are caused by sub-optimal design and insufficient diameter of the battery room ventilation branches. 3) In the electrical system, there were voltage spikes in the AC network and voltage distortions due to connected loads, such as inrush current and harmonics, as well as insulation problems in the DC-AC converter

Abstract

The development of information technology has made various activities easier, including the search for temporary accommodations such as boarding houses. In Medan, many newcomers and local residents face difficulties finding boarding houses that meet their needs because the available information is often inaccurate or outdated. Additionally, boarding house owners encounter challenges in managing properties and finding tenants manually, which consumes a significant amount of time and effort. To address these issues, Ruteakost was developed as a web-based boarding house information system Waterfall method to ensure a structured and systematic approach. Ruteakost is designed to simplify the search for boarding houses based on facilities and strategic locations, while also helping property owners manage their properties without the need for direct interaction with potential tenants. The system offers features such as tenant management, rent payment, property maintenance, and financial reporting, aiming to create an efficient, transparent, and easy-to-monitor process. Furthermore, Ruteakost introduces integrated online payment options and a more user-friendly interface. This innovation aims to overcome common issues found in other platforms, such as outdated boarding house listings and complex interfaces that can confuse users. Through new, effective, and intuitive features, Ruteakost provides a reliable solution for property owners to improve their operational efficiency, while also offering a better search experience for prospective tenants. Thus, Ruteakost not only assists in the management and booking of boarding houses in Medan but also strives to enhance service quality through the integration of more advanced technology, focusing on user needs and easy access to information.

Abstract

This study aims to measure customer satisfaction with the Spotify application using the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) method. Customer satisfaction is a crucial aspect for service providers to understand in order to improve product quality and competitiveness. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to active Spotify users from various demographics. After data collection, validity and reliability tests were conducted using SPSS to ensure the accuracy of the research results. The analysis shows that Spotify's customer satisfaction level falls into the very satisfied category, with a CSI score of 87.39%. This finding indicates that the majority of users feel that Spotify meets or exceeds their expectations in terms of functionality, service quality, and ease of use. This study provides important insights for Spotify to maintain and improve customer satisfaction through continuous service enhancements. In conclusion, user satisfaction with Spotify is relatively high, and these research results can serve as a reference for the company in formulating strategies for future service improvements.

Abstract

For CPNS registration in 2024, a digital stamp purchase method will be implemented via the website https://meterai-elektronik.com as a requirement for complete administration. However, the page that provides e-stamps experienced an error because many visitors entered and tried to buy e-stamps at the same time. This disruption has resulted in several people having opinions about e-stamps. To find out people's sentiments about e-stamps after this incident, sentiment analysis was carried out. In analyzing these sentiments, the Random Forest algorithm is used with the Bag of Words model, where Random Forest is a development method of Classification and Regression Trees (CART) which is said to be more precise in predicting and the Bag of Words model is widely used with good results for predicting language modeling and classification. documents because Bag of Words is simple and flexible. In sentiment analysis, 86% of neutral opinions were produced, 9% of negative opinions and 5% of positive opinions. Then the Random Forest algorithm with the Bag of Words model got an accuracy value of 70.1%, precision of 50.7%, recall of 54.1%, and F1-Score of 47.6%.

Abstract

Tourist attractions are places of interest and visited by tourists because they have certain appeals. These attractions can include natural tourism, cultural tourism, artificial tourism, or agro-tourism. Simalungun Regency offers various interesting tourist spots, ranging from natural beauty such as waterfalls and lakes to rich traditional cultures that reflect local history and customs. However, information about tourist visit patterns remains limited. A deeper understanding of these patterns is crucial, especially for tourism managers in designing effective and sustainable development strategies. Therefore, this study aims to identify associations or relationships between tourist attractions based on tourist visit data. The Apriori algorithm was chosen for its ability to discover high-frequency patterns in large datasets. These patterns are expected to provide valuable insights for tourism managers in designing effective promotional strategies. Apriori is a well-known algorithm in data mining, particularly for finding frequent itemsets using association rule techniques. The algorithm is carried out by determining frequent itemsets, from 1-itemset to multi-itemsets, until the association rules are derived from the pre-selected data. To obtain these frequent itemsets, each selected data must meet the minimum support and minimum confidence requirements so that the resulting association rules are relevant and practically applicable.
