Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of applying the listening method in school exams to improving high school students' listening skills and material comprehension. The research method used is a literature study that involves searching and analyzing literature related to previous research. This study aims to collect information and findings from previous studies that have discussed the use of the listening method in school exams and its impact on high school students' listening skills and material comprehension. The results of this study indicate that the application of the listening method in school exams has a significant positive effect on increasing high school students' listening skills and material comprehension. Based on the analysis of the literature, the listening method can help students improve their listening skills better, improve understanding of subject matter, and develop critical thinking skills. In addition, the use of the listening method in school exams can also motivate students to be actively involved in the learning process and improve information retention. Abstract

ABSTRAKWe surely engage in the activity of listening both formally and informally every day; in fact, listening is a necessary component of all activities. Since listening genuinely results in both fresh and recollections from the past or new information that is received, Since engaging in listening activities can arouse one's intelligence, we can feel more deeply because our brains are driven to seek out a lot of information. Because someone has effectively adopted listening activities, curiosity has a significant impact on the brain. We feel compelled to gather a lot of data. Curiosity has a significant impact on the brain since listening actions have been successfully accepted by someone. However, not everyone believes that all listening activities are enjoyable, particularly when learning begins for junior high school students. Most people may think that hearing makes them feel tired or even overstimulated. The media is also diverse depending on how each student chooses to listen to their lesson. Some people use visual media, write, and read aloud to others. There is nothing wrong with listening exercises conducted by teachers past and present, of course, as long as they are done with the knowledge that listening must be processed in order to keep up with the times. However, as candidates or teachers, we may already be familiar with the new approach so that students can listen intently without missing anything. Keyword: problematika menyimak, mengajar, belajar ABSTRAKMenyimak merupakan suatu kegiatan yang tentunya kita lakukan sehari-hari secara formal maupun non-formal, kegiatan apapun dalam kehidupan kita pasti melibatkan kegitan menyimak tersebut. Karena sesungguhnya menyimak adalah kegiatan yang membuahkan sebuah ingatan baru maupun lama atapun pengengetahuan baru yang masuk, karena kegiatan menyimak tersebut bisa memancing intelegent seseorang supaya kita merasa trerpancing lebih dalam karena otak kita merasa perlu mendapatkan informasi dengan jumblah yang banyak. Rasa penasaran merupakan suatu efek yang besar bagi otak, karena kegiatan menyimak tersebut sudah berhasil diterima oleh seseorang. Namun tidak semua orang merasa semua kegiatan menyimak itu merupa hal yang menyenangkan, apalagi menyimak dalam pembelajaran dimulai bagi anak SMP sebagian besar mungkin saja menganggap menyimak merupakan hal yang membuat mengantuk bahkan juga jenuh. Apalagi didasari oleh jenis cara menyimak pelajaran setiap murid itu berbeda-beda medianya. Ada yang menggunakan media gambar, tulis, membaca sendiri, dan lainya. Tentu saaat mengetahui hal tersebut menyimak harus bisa diolah sedemikian ruma mengikuti perkembangan jaman, tidak ada yang salah dengan kegiatan menyimakn yang dilakukan guru-guru dulu maupunsekarang, tetapi kita sebagai calon/guru mungkin sudah paham dengan metode metode baru agar murid bisa menyimak dengan seksama tanpa ketinggalan.

Abstract

Journalistic theory is one of the courses given to students of the Language and Literature Education Study Program, semester III at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Islamic University of Malang. The research focuses on increasing group proficiency in compiling infographics of journalistic terms through the Didi Manis learning model. This research design uses one-cycle Classroom Action Research (PTK). The results of this study prove that students get a more complex learning experience because they are in two different groups. The results of the infographic made by the group also showed good results with an average value above 80.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of Prezi media in improving students' listening skills in biographical text material in grade VIII. Qualitative literature studies are conducted by analyzing previous studies conducted in similar contexts. The results of the literature study show that the use of Prezi media in biographical text material has various benefits. Prezi's engaging and interactive visuals help students understand and visualize the information in the biographical text better. Prezi's organized structure and navigation features make it easy for students to follow the narrative flow of the biography and track the character's character development. In addition, the use of Prezi can also increase student engagement, learning motivation, and presentation skills. The use of Prezi media in biographical text materials can improve students' listening skills. Deep understanding, better analytical skills, informed response skills, high engagement and motivation, and improved presentation skills are some of the outcomes produced.

Abstract

The Eid al-Fitr sermon is one of the important moments in the Islamic religious calendar which is celebrated by Muslims around the world. Eid al-Fitr sermons are lectures delivered by religious leaders at mosques or other places of worship on Eid al-Fitr, after carrying out Eid prayers in congregation. This sermon has the aim of conveying religious messages and inspiring Muslims to increase their faith and piety. Critical analysis also reveals that the authenticity of the sermon is an important concern. Some sermons contain references that are unclear and can lead to different interpretations. In addition, choosing the right language and rhetoric has proven to be an important factor in the effectiveness of the sermon to convey messages clearly and move the congregation to act positively.

Abstract

The millennial generation is often considered a digital generation because it is easy to accept the times, namely technological developments that facilitate all activities. However, there are impacts that are influenced by technological developments. One of the novels that raised this phenomenon was the novel Kerumunan Terakhir. by Okky Madasari. Kerumunan Terakhir novel tells the story of man's stuttering of technological development. The purpose of this study is to describe perspectives from various parties on technological developments. The method used is descriptive-qualitative. With a sociological research approach and using Goldmann's genetic structuralism theory and the approach used is sociological. Data collection techniques include novels, recent crowds, and interviews with authors and millennials. Data analysis techniques in the form of data tricoagulation. The results of this study have three findings, first the structure of the novel text which forms two relationships, namely equal relations between characters and the power of characters and objects. Second, the millennial worldview of technological progress, that they think the presence of technology will have an impact on life, and the author's position as representing millennials in his work he gives advice in his novel. Based on this study which uses the novel Kerumunan Terakhir which discusses human stuttering towards technological developments. So it can be said from this novel that the presence of technology is able to affect all aspects of people's lives.

Abstract

  ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the explanation and form of the principles of politeness which are divided into several maxims in the Korean short film Justice High. The data collection methods used are the proficient free-involved listening technique (SBLC) and note-taking technique as an advanced technique. The data analysis method uses the technique of selecting determining elements. The research results consist of examples and discussion of the six maxims of politeness in the Korean short film Justice High, namely a) maxim of wisdom, b) maxim of acceptance, c) maxim of generosity, d) maxim of humility, e) maxim of compatibility, f) maxim of sympathy. The principle of politeness is viewed from the politeness scale according to Geoffrey Leech.

Abstract

This article discusses the influence of Hokkien in the Betawi dialect and its use as slang in media comments on the TikTok application. This research aims to understand the role of the Hokkien language in forming the Betawi dialect and how its use has become a characteristic feature in TikTok comments. The research method used is content analysis of comments using Hokkien on TikTok. Research findings show that the use of Hokkien in the Betawi dialect on social media, especially TikTok, has an important role in strengthening cultural identity and enriching language expression in daily communication. This article provides new insight into the influence of Hokkien in the Betawi dialect and its use as slang in the TikTok application media.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the impact of teacher performance appraisal on teaching and learning activities at MAN 1 PAMEKASAN as well as the general problem formulation, namely the impact of teacher performance appraisal on teaching and learning activities at MAN 1 PAMEKASAN using qualitative descriptive research methods using interactive analysis mode. This research presents results based on observation guides and interviews which show the success of teachers in carrying out teaching and learning activities using appropriate methods and being able to guide students towards the school's vision and mission that has been created. Apart from that, this research also proves that teacher performance assessment can have a positive impact. significant impact on student learning outcomes because teachers will receive evaluation and motivation to develop effective learning methods in the classroom

Abstract

A school is a place where students can receive instruction formally in an organized environment that aims to help them achieve their academic and personal success. In addition to spreading knowledge, good teachers are also role models for their students by getting to know students more deeply. Therefore, good teacher character is very important in fostering student discipline because they have the ability to guide and limit students to act and think according to their personality development. This study discusses how teacher personality can affect in improving the discipline of MAN 1 Lamongan students. The purpose of this study was to identify how the personality of teachers in MAN 1 Lamongan impacts student behavior. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach, which involved observation, interviews, and documentation with a combination of data from primary and secondary sources. The results showed that the nature of a teacher greatly affects the level of discipline in the classroom. Positive teachers often show more self-control and obedience in their students than less charismatic teachers. Teachers who are fair, consistent, strong, powerful, and intelligent and compassionate will most likely improve the discipline of their students.
