Abstract

Poverty is a complex issue that requires sustainable handling strategies. The government has implemented the Conditional Cash Transfer program known as the Family Hope Program (PKH) to alleviate poverty by improving the quality of life of poor communities through better access to education, health, and social welfare services. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of PKH in reducing poverty in Sondakan Subdistrict, using four main indicators: target accuracy, program objectives, program socialization, and program monitoring. This research employs a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Robert K. Merton’s Functionalism structural theory is used to analyze the interrelation of elements within the social system, highlighting the function of each component in supporting the sustainability of PKH.The results show that the program is effective in terms of socialization, but less effective in target accuracy, goal achievement, and monitoring. Identified obstacles include dependency among beneficiaries, as well as administrative and system-related issues. The evaluation of these obstacles suggests the need for beneficiary education, administrative and system improvements, and enhanced support from program facilitators. The government also strives to improve program effectiveness through not only material support but also moral encouragement, graduation programs, and skills training to promote economic independence.

Abstract

This research discusses consumer behavior in the analog photography community (Selenoid) in Surakarta, especially in the symbolic and emotional context, using Jean Baudrillard's theory. The problem studied is how the use of analog cameras in this community is more than just a practical need, but rather as a means of expression of identity and social status. The purpose of this research is to understand the consumption patterns of analog photography community members, as well as the role of analog cameras and their supporting equipment as symbols of identity and authentic experience. The method used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The sample was taken by purposive sampling method from active members of the Selenoid community who regularly use analog cameras. Data collection was done through observation and in-depth interviews, with data validity using source triangulation. The results showed that consumptive behavior in this community is not only functional, but also symbolic and emotional. Analog cameras and their equipment serve as symbols of identity, social status, and authenticity. Based on Baudrillard's theory, these objects create simulacra, where symbolic values and authentic experiences are valued more than their technical functions, which strengthen personal identity and solidarity within the community as a response to the instantaneous digital culture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menjelaskan hubungan antara tingkat aktivitas roleplay, tingkat kemampuan komunikasi, dengan tingkat interaksi sosial remaja. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Teori Jaringan sosial oleh Fukuyama dan Teori Pertukaran Sosial oleh George Homans dan Peter Blau. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksplanatori (explanatory research). Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner secara online. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah para pemain roleplay yang mengikuti base @roleplayerfess di media sosial X sebanyak 1.562, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 94 orang secara random. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan tabulasi data dan statsitik korelasi uji (uji korelasi product moment, korelasi parsial product moment, dan korelasi ganda) yang dibantu dengan program SPSS 25.0. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa tingkat aktivitas roleplay dengan tingkat interaksi sosial tidak melalui tingkat kemampuan komunikasi yang berarti hubungan tersebut murni. Hal ini disebabkan dalam interaksi sosial sudah terkandung kemampuan komunikasi. Interaksi sosial akan membentuk keterampilan sosial, salah satu unsur dari keterampilan sosial adalah kemampuan komunikasi.

Abstract

 The Globalization Era encourages PT. Solopos to transform from print to digital media through mass media convergence, which gives rise to new social constructions in society. This study aims to analyze the social construction and Solopos strategy in facing media convergence in Surakarta City. The method used is qualitative with interview techniques, observation, and literature studies. The theory used is Berger and Luckmann's social ecological construction and media. The results of the study show that Solopos forms social construction through multi platform transformation, technology adaptation, and strengthening social roles. The strategies include changing work models, media diversification, and improving human resources. Internal and external dimensions such as work culture, technology, and audience expectations also influence this convergence process. The strategies implemented have an impact on content, production, work culture, interaction with readers, and public trust.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara keaktifan mengikuti program pemberdayaan, kemampuan berkomunikasi di media sosial, terhadap tingkat membangun citra brand skincare Avoskin pada influencer RUBI Community. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori konstruktivisme oleh Vygotsky dan Piaget, serta teori citra oleh Frank Jeffkins. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan metode survey dengan jenis penelitian eksplanatori (explanatory research). Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner yang disebarkan secara online. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah anggota RUBI Community sebanyak 1.918, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 96 orang, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 96 orang, diambil dengan batas standart error ± 5%, interval kepercayaan 95%, reliabilitas ± 5% yang terbatas dengan tingkat heterogenitas tertinggi (p : q = 0,5 : 0,5). Teknik uji analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan tabulasi data dan statistik korelasi uji yang dibantu dengan program Statistical Package for the Social Science for Windows atau SPSS for Windows versi 26.0. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian  menunjukkan bahwa hubungan keaktifan mengikuti program pemberdayaan terhadap tingkat membangun citra brand skincare tidak bersifat murni dan melalui kemampuan berkomunikasi di media sosial sebagai faktor uji variabel intervening. Keaktifan mengikuti program pemberdayan, kemampuan berkomunikasi di  media sosial, dan tingkat membangun citra brand skincare Avoskin di dalam populasi memiliki hubungan secara bersama-sama. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penelitian ini sesuai dengan teori konstruktivisme oleh Vygotsky dan  Piaget, serta teori citra oleh Frank Jeffkins. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa keaktifan mengikuti program pemberdayaan, berhubungan dengan tingkat membangun citra brand skincare melalui adanya kemampuan berkomunikasi di media sosial.

Abstract

In 2022, in Indonesia, there was an increase in the value of VAT tax, which was originally 10% to 11%. Then, in 2024, it has also been planned to increase taxes from entertainment taxes to motor vehicle taxes, and the government has also planned to increase VAT to 12% in 2025. The tax increase is expected to help increase the Indonesian economy. Still, on the contrary, the Indonesian economy, which has not recovered from the pandemic, can cause people to be strangled by the tax increase. This study uses a qualitative research method, with a case study approach. The main data source in the study was through in-depth interviews with informants related to the problem being studied. The results of this study found that tax increases are still not imposed on MSME entrepreneurs in Surakarta City. In its implementation, this tax increase has a negative impact on traders.
