Abstract

As government partners, it is appropriate that Keujruen blang and agricultural extension workers as facilitators of the government in the agricultural sector must have the same meaning in agricultural practice activities. It aims to achieve the mission of national development embodied into food security priorities through sustainable agricultural agitation. Collaboration between extension workers and customary institutions can create effective agricultural practices to increase the income and standard of living of farming communities. The focus of this study is to analyze the meaning of agricultural practices owned by extension workers and customary institutions in Sukamakmur Aceh Besar sub-district by understanding the role of each actor. To analyze the meaning of agricultural practices for extension workers and customary institutions, this study uses the concept of hierarchy of meaning contained in the theory of Coordinated Management of Meaning (CMM). This research is presented with qualitative methods with ethnographic design. The place of research was conducted in Sukamakmur District, Aceh Besar. This research was conducted from March to September 2023 through several stages. The determination of informants is done purposively. The analysis used is Ethnograpic Content Ananlysis (ECA). Validity in this study was carried out using data triangulation. The results of the study explained that coordinating the meaning of agricultural practices between extension workers and traditional keujruen blang institutions can be assessed from the role of each actor. The coordination of the meaning of agricultural practices between keujruen blang and extension workers with CMM theory shows the similarity of the meaning of agricultural practices by extension workers and keujruen blang, namely realizing sustainable agriculture through the roles of each actor. The role of keujruen blang to realize sustainable agriculture is by maintaining customs in rice field activities, while the role of extension workers to realize sustainable agriculture is by focusing on organic farming.

Abstract

The most dominant hospital activity actors at risk of occupational safety accidents (SMK3) are hospital employees such as nurses, cleaning services, patients and visitors. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the application and factors affecting the implementation of occupational health and environmental safety management systems at dr. Zainal Abidin Regional General Hospital, Meuraxa Hospital and Banda Aceh Mother and Child Hospital. The data collection technique uses a mix method that combines quantitative and qualitative data with sequential explanatory strategies. The legal basis is Permenkes No. 66 of 2016, and the data was analyzed using the Likert scale method points 1-5 through SPSS version 26. The results of research at RSUDZA, RSIA, and RSUDM Banda Aceh show that the application of SMK3 is good to very good. However, there are several inhibiting factors that need to be considered by the hospital in order to improve the implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) at RSUDZA, RSIA, and RSUDM Banda Aceh, some improvements can be recommended. First, RSUDZA needs to ensure the stability of K3 field officers and improve the marking of K3 signs. In addition, the unification of the drug room with pharmacy employees must be separated to be more effective. RSIA needs to obtain budget for ceiling repairs so as to block various small dirt falling from roof gaps, avoid splashing rainwater falling through the roof insulators or regulators of heat and cold coming from the roof, roof frame covers to make the space neater and cleaner, sound dampers, both generated by rainwater and other sounds and rearrange the right material placement. RSUDM needs to overcome solid waste piles, improve the marking of K3 rooms, and improve the arrangement of parking areas. In addition, it is important to hire additional security personnel in the ER. All these improvements are expected to improve occupational safety and health conditions in hospitals.

Abstract

The field experiment of applying the air deck method to the limestone blasting activities of PT Semen Baturaja (Persero), aims to reduce the impact of ground vibration considering that mining activities are approaching residential areas. In addition, the size of the fragmentation of the blasting results is very important for the effectiveness of the crushing plant. To determine the effectiveness of the application of the air deck method in limestone mining (quarry), blasting planning activities are carried out by dividing the two blasting locations, namely blasting with the air deck method and without using an air deck. By using a zig-zag blasting pattern and the number of holes of 50 Lb, the depth of the drill holes is 9 meters (without air deck) and 13 meters and the type of explosive used is Nonel. From the results of the analysis of limestone blasting with data processing using the split desktop 2.0 demo application, the ground vibration value (micromater system) was obtained. The average value of ground vibration (pVS) shows a smaller value using the air deck method of 0.68 mm/sec while without air deck of 0.74 mm/sec. The results of limestone fragmentation analysis with the air deck method obtained size <75cm reached 91.93%, while for without air deck it was 80.27%. These results show that the air deck method can be applied as a method to assist the Company in reducing ground vibration and limestone fragmentation effectively and efficiently by considering natural factors including geographical factors.

Abstract

Lay Pastoral Ministers (PPA) are laity who are called and sent among the faithful and the community to carry out the pastoral care of the local Church. PPA in the Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Tomohon, specifically ministers in the field of spirituality numbered approximately 153 people spread across 51 groups of people called spiritual areas. The Spiritual Area is a Church Base Community (KBG) consisting of 30-40 families whose number of people is around 90-125 people per KBG. Thus, PPA in the Parish of the Sacred Heart of Jesus serves approximately 4,229 people. One form of service is the Liturgical Apostolic in the form of the Worship of the Word which is held regularly and other Worship such as the Thanksgiving Service and the Worship of the Spirits which are held in due time. Facing the needs of worship services, both held regularly and at any time, PPA generally has difficulties when it comes to leading worship. In general, they still use the old Code of Worship because PPAs have not received socialization and training on the use of the new Code of Worship formulation. Departing from the above problems, through this Faith-Based Community Service activity, the service and team and also through collaboration with the Spiritual Field of the Pastoral Council at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Tomohon Parish, will organize training activities for PPA, especially about leading worship. With the implementation of this training, it is expected to have a good and effective impact on PPA and other participants and also provide knowledge and skills so that worship in each KBG can be carried out properly and the faith of the people will grow and develop..

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the level of political participation of the Kenduri Cinta community as an urban Sufism community in DKI Jakarta. The method used in this research is a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to the Kenduri Cinta community who were selected by purposive sampling. The independent variables used in this research are political concern; political motivation; political situation and environment; political education; and political orientation. This study explains how these independent variables affect the political participation of the Kenduri Cinta community. The 503 questionnaires obtained were processed by the SPSS application version 25. The Principal Component Analysis method was used in multiple linear regression to analyse how independent variables affect their political participation. The F test result shows that all independent variables simultaneously affect the level of political participation of the Kenduri Cinta community. Meanwhile, the t test result shows that four independent variables are significant and three of them have positive regression coefficients. Interestingly, political motivation has a negative regression coefficient even though it is significant. This means the higher their political motivation, the lower their political participation.
