Abstract

Sexual education has a crucial role in providing understanding to children about reproductive organs, prevention of sexual violence, and maintenance of intimate organs. This study aims to develop learning media in the form of sexual education animation videos to improve sexual understanding and understanding of forms of sexual harassment behavior in elementary schools. ADDIE research and development methods (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) are used in this product development process. Needs analysis was conducted through interviews with guidance and counseling teachers, as well as classroom teachers in several elementary schools in Yogyakarta. The development phase involves material design, animation video creation, validation by media experts and material experts, as well as field trials. Evaluation is carried out to correct product deficiencies before they are widely implemented. The development results include animated sexual education videos that received "very decent" validation from media experts and material experts. Field trials involved grade V students with results that showed increased sexual understanding and understanding of forms of sexual harassment behavior in classes that used animated videos compared to control classes. The teacher's response to the media shows a high level of practicality. In conclusion, this sexual education animation video is considered feasible, practical, and effective in increasing students' understanding of sexual material and forms of sexual harassment behavior in elementary schools. This media is expected to help teachers in providing appropriate, interesting, and appropriate sexual education according to the needs of elementary school-age children.

Abstract

The rising popularity of traditional rituals and ceremonies globally, including in Indonesia, has sparked interest both as heritage practices passed down through generations and as contemporary subjects of study. This article aims to provide a comprehensive overview of trends in the study of traditional ceremonies through a systematic literature review. However, the current abstract falls short of elucidating the specific criteria used to select the 200 articles. To address this, the study employed a systematic literature review approach, examining 200 scholarly articles on traditional ceremonies sourced from Google Scholar and Crossref databases spanning the years 2012 to 2022. The systematic literature review utilized the Publish or Perish application to gather metadata from Google Scholar and Crossref, with subsequent data visualization facilitated by the VOSviewer application. The outcomes of the study encompass three main findings: 1) Mapping clusters of study themes related to traditional ceremonies, 2) Identifying the network of authors whose works predominantly contribute to the field of traditional ceremonies, and 3) Uncovering gaps and novel aspects within the realm of traditional ceremony studies. While the abstract outlines these results, a more detailed elaboration is essential to enhance the overall depth and contribution of the study. Specifically, elucidating the criteria used for article selection and providing a more thorough explanation of the mapping clusters and identified gaps will significantly improve the clarity and impact of the research.

Abstract

Urban agriculture is gaining significance in the sustainable development of rapidly growing cities like Bengaluru, with a particular emphasis on leveraging Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for its enhancement. This paper investigates how ICT initiatives can bolster the productivity, sustainability, and inclusivity of urban agriculture in Bengaluru. Employing a qualitative research design, the study draws upon various data sources, including a series of interviews with key stakeholders, extensive field observations, and a comprehensive review of pertinent literature. Our findings underscore the transformative potential of ICT initiatives in addressing key challenges encountered in urban agriculture in Bengaluru, such as limited access to information, inadequate market linkages, and constrained financial resources. Specifically, we highlight ICT's role in optimizing crop management practices, fostering stronger market connections, facilitating financial access, and promoting social inclusivity within urban agricultural systems. Furthermore, this paper discusses the implications of these findings for policymakers and practitioners in Bengaluru and offers insights that extend to urban agricultural contexts beyond this region. By emphasizing the potential of ICT to revolutionize urban agriculture, this study contributes to the broader goals of sustainable urban development. Suggestions for future research directions in this domain are also discussed.

Abstract

Net Promoter Score (NPS) in healthcare settings is scrutinized for its effectiveness in enhancing patient loyalty and service quality. This review explores its application in hospitals, aiming to elevate service quality, satisfaction levels, patient experience, and loyalty. Utilizing a comprehensive literature search spanning November 2013-2023, it examines NPS in hospital marketing strategies, highlighting its conceptualization and utilization. While NPS integration in hospitals globally is prevalent, criticisms persist regarding its validity and relevance, particularly concerning biases and predictive capabilities for sales growth. Despite its benefits in improving healthcare services, NPS demonstrates limitations in supporting healthcare enhancement initiatives. Its suitability as a tool for measuring satisfaction, predicting loyalty, and assessing patient experience remains uncertain and contingent upon contextual factors and service nature.

Abstract

The Indonesian beekeeping industry, grappling with diverse bee species, focuses on the sustainability of operations, particularly with the introduction of Apis mellifera during the early stages of the pandemic. This study explores post-pandemic Apis mellifera honey production in Indonesia, analyzing its impact on prices and business sustainability. Surveys and interviews were conducted with beekeepers in Java and Sumatra, primary islands with significant A. mellifera activities, along with data collection from other regions from January 2022 to October/November 2023. Monthly observations centered on honey production and prices for industrial purposes. The study uncovered two beekeeping systems: migratory in Java and stationery in Sumatra. Carpa honey from Accacia crassicarpa plantation emerged as a suitable industrial honey, displaying sustainable production, seasonality, and a large carpa area as bee forages, contributing to colony growth. Conversely, four Java honey types showed lower productivity, indicating a potential absence of honey seasons. Carpa honey prices ranged from IDR 25,200 to IDR 31,000 per kg, influenced by market size, production, competition, productivity, costs, and producer-consumer interactions. Despite a pandemic-induced surge in the honey market, sustaining high productivity and increasing colony numbers are crucial for long-term honey production sustainability.

Abstract

This study delves into the analysis of Hadith in H.M. Arsyad Thalib Lubis' Fatwa Book, titled Some Problems, with a specific focus on investigating the status of the Sanad and Matan, as well as exploring the method of Fiqhul Hadith employed in the book. The primary inquiries include determining Sanad's status, Matan's status, and the Fiqh al-Hadith method employed by Arsyad Talib Lubis. The research utilizes a literature-based approach with a scientific and methodological orientation. The findings reveal that out of 154 hadiths in the book, 97 are Sahih, 34 are Hasan, 14 are Da'if, 1 is Munkar, and 8 are not found in the Mutun al-Hadith. The Matan's status affirms that the contained hadiths align with the principles of the Qur'an, hadith, Ijma', Qiyas, and commendable Muslim practices, encouraging their incorporation into daily worship. The Fiqh al-Hadith method outlined in the book encompasses understanding the hadith following Quranic instructions, considering background, situational conditions, and purpose, distinguishing between variable means and fixed ends, discerning expressions of haqiqi and majadzi, recognizing the distinction between the unseen and the real, and ascertaining the meaning of words in the hadith. These findings contribute to a nuanced understanding of Hadith analysis and offer valuable insights for scholars and practitioners of Islamic jurisprudence.

Abstract

This study delves into the intricate relationship between the state and government, with a specific focus on bureaucracy as a pivotal component of government policy. Against the backdrop of political science, the article investigates the politicization of bureaucracy during the 2024 elections in Indonesia. By tracing the historical trajectory of bureaucratic politicization from the New Order to Reformasi, the research sheds light on the evolution of this phenomenon. Emphasizing bureaucratic neutrality as a cornerstone of good governance, the study employs a qualitative-critical descriptive approach through literature reviews. Qualitative data, derived from expert statements and scientific perspectives, undergoes rigorous analysis using discourse and content analysis methods. The historical analysis exposes the enduring link between bureaucracy and politics, notably during the New Order era, characterized by Golkar's absolute dominance. Despite post-1998 bureaucratic reforms, the persistent challenge of bureaucratic politicization looms large, especially in anticipation of the 2024 elections. The research underscores that achieving bureaucratic neutrality encounters obstacles rooted in the political system and socio-political conditions. Conceptual and theoretical discussions, though robust, falter in implementation. Effectuating bureaucratic neutrality mandates stringent adherence to rules, commitment from all bureaucracies, and robust supervision and law enforcement. The imperative for bureaucratic neutrality in the 2024 elections necessitates comprehensive socialization across bureaucracies and active stakeholder engagement, particularly from political parties. Fostering awareness of bureaucratic integrity and neutrality is indispensable for upholding public service duties and advancing the principles of good governance in Indonesia.
