Abstract

Abstract- This research was aimed to describe the kinds of Orchidaceae ephypitic in Ubalan Kediri. This research was conducted by describtive using explore method, started at Julii up to September 2013. Sampel were colected and to determine. Data shown that there were six specieses. They were Dendrobium crumenaatum  Swartz, Cymbidium biclolor (Lind.) Swartz, Rhynchostylis retusa  (Lind.) BI, Dendrobium secundum (BI.) Lind., Dendrobium anosmum Lind., dan Dendrobium tetrodon Ruhb.f. Based on karacters of flower analysis, both of R. retusa  (Lind.) Abstract

The quality of good teaching on each subject can be achieved by organizing appropriate learning models, as well as good interaction between teachers and students. Based on the observations made in SMPN 3 Semanding, the average learning outcomes are known to be lacking.This is because the lack of teacher activity and activity of teachers also have not been effective during the learning took place, so this result in the completeness of student learning outcomes. Responding to this the researchers took the initiative to provide modification of learning through the implementation of Cooperative Script learning model combined with Number Head Together to overcome the above problems.This study aims to describe student learning outcomes, teacher activities and students. This research was conducted at SMPN 3 Semanding Tuban class VII A Student Class of 2017/2018 as many as 24 students consisting of 12 male students and 12 female students This study is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of one meeting. Instrument used is evaluation of learning outcomes, observation sheet of teacher and student activity.The results of the research conducted two cycles obtained by the increase in student learning outcomes by 20,9%, increased teacher activity by 26,25%, and the increase in student activity by 22,5%.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini mengembangkan paket pembelajaran yang dapat memberdayakan keterampilan metakognitif dan hasil belajar siswa, yakni strategi Cooperative Script (CS) yang dipadukan dengan strategi Metakognitif (M) berupa self assessing disingkat CSM. Hasil pengembangan itu dieksperimenkan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri di Kota Manado. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor siswa berkemampuan akademik tinggi (AT), dan rendah (AR) yang belajar dengan strategi CSM memang melampaui keterampilan metakognitif siswa berkemampuan AT dan AR yang belajar dengan strategi konvensional (Konv):1) rata-rata skor kelompok strategi CSM-AT, lebih tinggi 17,78% dari Konv-AT, dan 23,87% dari konv-AR, 2) rata-rata skor kelompok CSM-AR, lebih tinggi 11,57% dari konv-AT, dan 17.34% dari konv-AR. Demikian pula dengan hasil relajar siswa. 1) rata-rata skor kelompok CSM-AT, lebih tinggi 18,72% dari konv-AT, dan 26,33% dari konv-AR, 2) rata-rata skor kelompok CSM-AR, lebih tinggi 12,08% dari konv-AT, dan 19,27% dari konv-AR. Presentase peningkatan terjadi pada kelompok CSM-AR untuk keterampilan metakognitif 468,479% dan untuk hasil relajar 595,10%.  Keywords: Cooperative Script, Metakognitif, hasil belajar

Abstract

Biology is one of natural sciences that cherish either process or product in every aspect of its study. Biology’s learning outcomes identic with the score that achieved by students post learning process. This research aims to illustrate the biology’s learning outcome of high school students after the application of Socratic Dialogue. The participants were students of grade XI sciences in one high school located in Surakarta, selected purposively. The number of participants were20.(8 boys, and .12 girls). A classroom action research (CAR) was done collaboratively between student teacher, lecturers, and teacher, follow the spiral cycle of Stephen Kemmis. The data was student’s examination score, categorized into communal groups (low academic group, middle academic group, and high academic group). Data was analysed by interpreting the student’s outcome quantitatively and scrutinizing factors might be affect to student’s outcome qualitatively. The result showed the student’s learning outcome in the first cycle was increase significantly than pre-treatment stage. The second cycle showed a slight decreasing of student’s classical outcome, allegedly due to the difficulty of subject level. The low and the middle academic group’s score was fluctuative, ascend from the pre-treatment stage to the first cycle and descend to the second cycle. The high academic group’s score was always descended from the pre-treatment stage to the second cycle, revealed that the low and the middle academic’s group was more stable in holding their achievement during the research. Socratic Dialogue brought various effects onto each student’s academic group.. The further research that apply more long standing Socratic Dialogue is highly recommended to study about the changes of student’s outcomes and its affecting factors.

Abstract

This study was aimed to know: (1) the influence of guided discovery learning model to the scientific literacy; (2) the influence of naturalist intelligence to the scientific literacy; (3) the interaction between learning model and naturalist intelligence to the  scientific literacy. This study is a quasy experimental research  with 2x3 factorial design. The popullation of this study is all of students grade X SMA N 1 Ngemplak academic year 2015/2016. Sample of class is selected by purpossive sampling technique. Data is collected by test techniques (Instrument matter of Nature of Science Literacy Test/NOSLiT) and non-test technique (quesionnaire, observation, and documentation). The data is analyzed by Two Ways analysis of variance test with different content of cell with level of significance 5%. Data analyzing is helped by Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) program 21 version. The results showed that there was the influence of the use of guided discovery learning models to scientific literacy (Sig. = 0.047) <α = 0.05. There was the influence of naturalist intelligence toward scientific literacy (Sig. = 0.015) <α = 0.05, and there was no effect interaction between learning-models and naturalist towards their scientific literacy (Sig. = 0,544)>α = 0.05.Keywords:        Guided Discovery Learning Model, Scientific Literacy, Naturalist Intelligence

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa antara model pembelajaran problem based learning dengan numbered heads together berbasis student created case studies pada mata pelajaran biologi kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu (quasy experiment). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest only with non-equivalent group. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cluster sampling. Sampel yang diambil yaitu 2 kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen 1 adalah X IPA 3 dan kelas eksperimen 2 adalah X IPA 1 dengan kedua kelas berjumlah 72 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes essay, lembar observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji independent t-test. Hasil perhitungan perbedaan rata-rata posttest kedua kelompok untuk keterampilan berpikir kritis menunjukkan nilai hitung sebesar 2,243 dan ttabel dengan signifikansi (α=0,05). Hasil perhitungan menunjukkan bahwa thitung > ttabel, sehingga terdapat perbedaan signifikan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa yang diajarkan menggunakan model problem based learning dengan numbered heads together berbasis student created case studies.

Abstract

Research on the implementation model of  Problem Based Learning Instruction (PBI) based on the increased activity of planting the character and attitude of cognitive science study conducted on students of class VII MTs Negeri Model Purwokerto. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of PBI learning model to the increased activity of learning and cognitive attitudes of students in the material ecosystem. The method used is an experimental method with pre-test and post-test control group. The study population was all students of class VII (there are 5 classes) with cluster random sampling technique. Class VII-C number of 32 students as the control class while class VII-E were 34 students as a class experiment. Observed learning activities include activities asked, noting the teacher's explanation, and the activity of searching for learning resources. Cognitive attitude characteristic observed included the character of curiosity, tolerance and hard work. The results showed that the effect of PBI models significance to the improvement of science learning activities by 28.25%, while its influence on the improvement of cognitive attitude and level of learning outcomes have varied significansinya Keywords: model of learning, character based learning, learning activities, cognitive attitude, science learning

Abstract

Scientific process skills are a very important skill in science learning process.Another thing that should also be considered is the cognitive style of students.Based on the description how the skills of science process students SMP Negeri 1 Jenu on learning Biology through Think Pair Share learning model with image-based media reflective cogitive style and impulsive cognitive style. The purpose of this research is to describe the skill of science process of students of SMP Negeri 1 Jenu on Biology learning through Think Pair Share learning model with image media based on reflective cognitive style and impulsive cognitive style.The type of this research is descriptive explorative.The subject of research data are 12 reflective students and 11 impulsive students. The instruments used are MFFT (Matching Familiar Figures Test) test sheets and students' science skill test sheets.Data collection techniques use MFFT (Matching Familiar Figures Test) tests and science skills process tests.Data analysis of science process skills based on reflective cognitive style and impulsive cognitive style tested by non parametric test of Mann Whitney.The results of research indicate that with Think Pair Share learning model with cognitive reflective-style student image media in answering science skill process problem in more detail, thorough and complete.While impulsive students are less detailed and less complete. The conclusions in this study there are differences in the ability of students' cognitive reflective-style student science skills and also students with cognitive impulsive style.

Abstract

The White-bellied Sea Eagle (Haliaeetus leucogaster) is one of the top predators living in the coastal area of Indonesia. This species has the range of distribution in all across Indonesian archipelago. However, this raptor population decreases particularly in the Java southern seas due to illegal hunts and the decreasing quality of their natural habitat. Meanwhile, this bird is still poorly studied in Indonesia. This research focuses on the identification of Haliaeetus leucogaster and the phylogenetic study of this species by means of morphometrical analysis and DNA barcode cytochrome-c oxcidace sub unit I (COI) in regards to the conservation of thisspecies. The method used in this research is by measuring the morphological characteristics and mitochondrial DNA isolation using Forward primer BirdF1 5’- TTC TCC AAC CAC AAA GAC ATT GGC AC-3’ and Reverse primer BirdR2 5’ ACT ACA TGT GAG ATG ATT CCG AAT-3’. The phylogenetic analysis using MEGA 6 with Maximum Likelihood method shows that Haliaeetus leucogaster in this study is closely related to Haliaeetus albicilla, Haliaeetus leucocephalus dan Haliaeetus pelagicus.  Keywords: phylogenetic study, Heliaeetus leucogaster, morphological chacarteristics, DNA barcoding, Cytochrome-c Oxcidace Sub Unit I (COI)

ABSTRAK Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah Manajemen Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran yang jelas mengenai manajemen pelatihan Teknologi Pengolahan susu yang dilaksanakan di Balai Pelatihan Peternakan Cikole Lembang. Sedangkan manfaatnya adalah untuk kepentingan pengembangan lembaga pelatihan peternakan dan SDM Peternak.Adapun konsep yang mendukung penelitian adalah Konsep manajemen , Konsep Pelatihan, Konsep Taraf Hidup, Konsep Way of Life, Konsep Perubahan, Konsep Pemasaran. Teori Manajemen lebih difokuskan untuk dapat mengetahui fungsi manajemen secara jelas sehingga akan mampu mendeskripsikan pengaruhnya terhadap ketercapaian kompetensi . Konsep taraf Hidup diperlukan untuk dapat mendeskripsikan ketercapaian taraf hidup peserta yang di inginkan setelah diklat.Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metoda penelitian dalam bentuk studi kasus . Adapun subyek yang diteliti sebanyak 38 orang yaitu  30 orang peserta pelatihan, dan 10 orang panitia penyelenggara serta para pengajar pelatihan. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara , observasi dan  studi dokumentasi. Manajemen pelatihan pada BPP Cikole  belum berjalan dengan efektif dan efisien dan masih diwarnai kelemahan-kelemahan serta memerlukan perbaikan-perbaikan. Kelemahan itu disebabkan antara lain karena belum optimalnya fungsi disainer pelatihan pada tahap perencanaan diklat menyebabkan penetapan tujuan diklat ini tidak jelas demikian juga penetapan peserta maupun pengajar diklat disamping itu ada dualisme  fungsi perencana yakni Sub Bagian  program pada Dinas induk ( Dinas Peternakan Provinsi Jawa Barat ) serta  Sub bidang Perencanaan dan evaluasi pada UPT BPP Cikole sehingga fungsi ini tidak dapat berjalan secara obyektif, sementara pada fungsi perencanaan itu sendiri belum dapat melaksanakan fungsinya sesuai tugasnya sebagai perencana. Peserta diklat ini sangat variatif ada peternak, ada pengusaha dan ada pegawai KPBS dan KUD juga PNS.Dalam perencanaan para pengajar juga terjadi tumpang tindih tugas antara tugas pejabat struktural yang seharusnya menjalankan fungsi manajerial namun pada kenyataanya mereka melaksanakan fungsi pengajaran sehingga materi yang diberikan sifatnya hanya kebijakan-kebijakan belum mengarah kepada materi yang sesungguhnya, disamping itu penetapan usia  peserta tidak jelas sehingga menjadi kendala dalam keterserapan materi bagi sebagian besar mereka yang berusia lanjut, hal yang paling mendasar adalah ketidak jelasan tujuan dari pelatihan ini, bila untuk peningkatan taraf hidup peternak maka kurikulum seyogyanya mengarah pada tehnik meningkatkan pendapatan melalui kewirausahaan namun kenyataannya lebih mengarah pada fungsi pemeliharaan dan pengawetan susu. Hasil dari pelatihan untuk meningkatkan taraf hidup Peternak dapat dikatakan belum tercapai.Hasil dari penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa faktor yang mendukung keberhasilan pelatihan adalah pelaksanaan manajemen pelatihan yang sempurna dalam arti bahwa fungsi-fungsi manajemen harus saling terkait antara satu fungsi dengan fungsi lainnya sehingga tidak terdapat pelaksanaan pelatihan yang tidak sesuai dengan perencanaannya juga pelaksanaan fungsi evaluasi yang tidak memberikan informasi kepada manajemen. Keyword : manajemen diklat teknologi pengolahan susu
