Abstract

The aim of this paper was to designing a media of integrated science learning on photosynthesis topics based on tutorial models of computer assisted instruction using Adobe Animate CC for Junior High School. Designing process of this media covered several stages, namely the preparation stage, the creation stage using Adobe Animate CC, and the completion stage. This media was stored in files with extension (dot) exe. This learning media of tutorial models CAI consisted of several parts, namely intro, basic competencies and indicators, menus, materials, exercises and developer info. This learning media is useful to support teaching process ofintegrated science learning in junior high school. In addition, this learning media can be used independently by students.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain (1) the influence of SSCS and POE learning model on learning achievement biology of students (2) differences in the biology student learning achievement using learning model SSCS and learning model POE. The research was a quasi experimental research with a design randomized subjects posttest only control group design . The populations in this research were Student in class 8th at SMPN 1 Gondangrejo Karanganyar academic year 2013/2014 . Classes used in the study of 3 randomly selected classes . The first class 8thD applying POE learning model, second class 8thF applying SSCS learning model and the third is a control class 8thE applying conventional learning models specifically models of speech varies and experiment with a simple summary. The data was collected using tests, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The Analysis using test validity, reliability, difficulty index problem, different power and to test hypotheses about the use of ANOVA and t test with help of SPSS 18. The results showed that : (1) There is the influence of the learning model Search Solve Create and Share (SSCS) and learning model Predict Observe Explain (POE) on learning achievement biology students of SMPN 1 Gondangrejo Karanganyar academic year 2013/2014 both the cognitive, affective , and psychomotor . It can be seen from the average student learning achievement in the experimental class and control classes on the cognitive, affective and psychomotor tests and the results of the ANOVA showed a significance value < 0.05. Further results of the ANOVA Post Hoc test Scheffe there are differences in learning achievement SSCS and POE models on affective and psychomotor domains, whereas the cognitive domain there are differences in learning achievement. The conclusion from the research are: (1) there are significant learning model SSCS and POE to biology students learning achievement, (2) learning model SSCS learning more effectively applied in the class 8th students of SMPN 1 Gondangrejo Karanganyar academic year 2013/2014 than POE and conventional  models it looks from the average value of the results of learning both the cognitive, affective and psychomotor higher grade SSCS. Keywords : SSCS learning models, POE learning models, learning achievement

Abstract

Abstract- This research was aimed to determine fluctuation of  Taphozous melanopogon population in Srunggo cave in Tuban karstic area. The research began in 2010 until 2012 in Srunggo cave in Tuban karstic area of eastern Java.  This research is ecological research with this type of research, Natural Trajectory Experimment  (NTE), population-local spatial scale, and one-generation temporal scale. Data was taked by line potret method (evening emergence count modification), twice in dry monsoon and rainy season everi years. Research data analysed by descriptive. Srunggo cave is a cave with single population of  Taphozous melanopogon. Population fluctuation this species between 2010 until 2012 that are 2126, 1946, and 1832 individu. The Population trend is decrease. That caused by human disturbance in habitat and illegal hunting by local people. The population during the rainy season in three years is likely to decrease, compared to the dry season. Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini antaralain: 1) meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui variasi integrasi outdoor dan indoor learning dalam mata kuliah lingkungan, 2) memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dengan meningkatkan kinerja dosen melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui variasi integrasi outdoor dan indoor learning dalam mata kuliah lingkungan, 3) mewujudkan iklim kelas yang kondusif melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui variasi integrasi outdoor dan indoor learning dalam mata kuliah lingkungan, 4) meningkatkan sikap mahasiswa dan perilaku yang positif dalam pembelajaran melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui variasi integrasi outdoor dan indoor learning dalam mata kuliah lingkungan, dan 5) meningkatkan motivasi mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui variasi integrasi outdoor dan indoor learning dalam mata kuliah lingkungan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (Classroom Action Research). Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif dengan tindakan partisipan karena peneliti terlibat langsung dari awal hingga akhir penelitian. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus yang masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada siklus 1 dan siklus 2, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berbasis masalah melalui variasi integrasi outdoor dan indoor learning dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, meningkatkan kinerja dosen dalam pembelajaran, mewujudkan iklim kelas yang kondusif, meningkatkan sikap dan perilaku mahasiswa dalam belajar, serta dapat menimbulkan interaksi dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa P. Biologi semester 2 yang mengambil mata kuliah Ilmu Pengetahuan Lingkungan.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to improve student learning outcomes by using model of Problem Based Learning in the Environment. The research method is classroom action research with the stages of each cycle, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. In this study using 2 cycles because it has obtained good results while the data collection techniques using non tests and tests. Data analysis techniques used qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the application of PBL model (Problem Based Learning) with environmental media can improve student learning outcomes. The increase is evidenced by the learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average percentage value of 85% and increased in cycle II to 95%. Improved student learning outcomes using PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model with environmental media belonging to the category of "good".

Abstract

Acacia Community in the Conservation Forest of Mangunan has six vegetation species with four largest dominant, they are Acacia (Acacia auriculiformis), Cembirit (Tabernaemontana macrocarpa), Mahogany (Swietenia mahagony), and Sono (Dalbergia latifolia). In previous growthform analysis of A. auriculiformis, tree density was higher (380 ind Ha-1) compared to T. macrocarpa (280 ind Ha-1), but the sapling and seedling of A. Auriculiformis had lower density (20ind Ha-1 and 23.600 ind Ha-1) compared to T. macrocarpa (520 ind Ha-1 and 26.800 ind Ha-1). The presence of T. macrocarpa showed that there was an interspecies competition critically with the main community, A. auriculiformis. Therefore, the purposes of this research are to analyze the density of tree, sapling, and seedling growthforms of T. macrocarpa; to assess the fecundity of T. macrocarpa of 3 stem diameter classes. This research is the continuation of the previous research in 2015. Data collection had been conducted in December 2015-February 2016 in Conservation Forest Mangunan, Bantul. Serial observations were conducted six times in five permanent plots of 10x10 m2. The growth data were analyzed using Relative Growth Rate (RGR) analysis. Results of this research show that T. macrocarpa density from tree, sapling, and seedling growthforms are 480 ind Ha-1, 860 ind Ha-1, and 30.200 ind Ha-1. T. macrocarpa stands with smaller diameter have greater RGR value (0,00079 cm) than stands with larger diameter (0,00040 cm). The highest fecundity value of stands from the large, medium and, small stands diameter: 2,37%; 1,93%; and 1,16% respectively. The highest RGR, fecundity, and seedling density value of T. macrocarpa show an aggressive growth, thus, this species is estimated to threat or substitute the main species A. auriculiformis.Keywords: Density dan Fecundity of Tabernaemontana macrocarpa Jack., Acacia auriculiformis A.Cunn.ex Benth Community, Conservation Forest of Mangunan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 2 Jatiroto dengan mengambil subjek penelitian siswa kelas VII A Tahun Pelajaran 2008/2009 yang jumlahnya 40 siswa terdiri dari 20 siswa laki - laki dan 20 siswa perempuan. Desain penelitian dengan teknik analisis antar kasus (crossite analysis) dengan model analisis interaktif antar siklus. Kondisi awal yang ada pada siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 2 Jatiroto Tahun Pelajaran 2008/2009 dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Kondisi awal Penelitian didapatkan bahwa dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dengan materi pengelolaan lingkungan hanya 20 siswa dari 40 siswa yang mencapai tingkat penguasaan materi di atas KKM (50%), sedangkan 20 siswa (50%) hasil belajarnya pada materi pengelolaan lingkungan di bawah KKM, berarti materi pelajaran hanya dapat terserap siswa 50%, sedangkan 50% siswa belum tuntas maka guru perlu mengadakan perbaikan rnodel pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan supervisor dan hasil evaluasi belajar pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam siklus pertama dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam kelompok besar ada 40 siswa (100%) dari 40 siswa prestasi belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di atas atau sama dengan KKM Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam yaitu 70 dengan rata-rata kelas 77,75. Jika dibandingkan dengan kondisi awal tingkat penguasaan materi pelajaran ada peningkatan 50% (kondisi awal 50 % siswa tuntas, siklus I 100 % siswa tuntas). Sedangkan pada siklus II dengan penerapan model pernbelajaran PBL dalam kelompok kecil, hasil yang yang didapatkan sudah banyak kemajuan yang didapat dari proses perbaikan pembelajaran, hal ini dapat diketahui dari peningkatan jumlah siswa yang tuntas adalah 40 siswa dari 40 siswa (100% tuntas ). Hal ini sebagai pertanda bahwa siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 2 Jatiroto purya minat belajar yang tinggi dan dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran sangat tepat dengan materi yang diajarkan, punya keberanian mengungkapkan gagasannya secara realistis serta penguasaan terhadap materi pembelajaran pengelolaan lingkungan menjadi lebih baik. Dibandingkan dengan siklus I, untuk siklus II dari siklus I untuk kemajuan penguasaan materi adalah 100 % dengan rata - rata kelas 77,7 5 ( Siklus I 100% materi dapat terserap 100% , pada siklus II menjadi 100% dengan rata-rata kelas 95,5 ). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diungkap dengan alat pengumpul data berupa tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi dapat dikemukakan kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian adalah sebagai berikut penggunaan model pembelajaran PBL dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetaluan Alam Kelas VII A SMP Negeri 2 Jatiroto Tahun Pelajaran 2008/2009. Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengaplikasikan pemrosesan citra digital dan jaringan syaraf metode LVQ guna menghasilkan sebuah perangkat lunak deteksi uang palsu. Citra masukan berupa citra penari yang muncul dari uang kertas limapuluh ribuan rupiah akibat pendaran cahaya lampu ultraviolet. Metode penelitian meliputi studi literatur yang berkompeten, metode pengumpulan data citra uang palsu dari bank-bank konvensional, dan implementasi pengkodean menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Visual. Citra ciri bergambar penari berukuran 90x114 piksel dilekstraks nilai RGB-nya. Nilai RGB ini menjadi variabel masukan bagi LVQ. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian berupa perangkat lunak deteksi uang palsu berbasis LVQ, dengan keberhasilan pendeteksian hingga 100% baik pada 20 buah data citra uji iluminasi maupun 14 buah simulasi data citra uji kecerahan. Data citra uji iluminasi terdiri dari 10 citra uang palsu dan 10 citra uang asli. Data citra uji kecerahan terdiri dari 3 citra uang asli dan 11 citra uang palsu. ABSTRACT This research is aimed to colaborate digital image processing and neural network using Linear Vector Quantization (LVQ) method to make a money counterfeit system detection. The input image of the system is the dancer object image of Rp. 50.000,- money fluorescend by ultraviolet light. The acquisition data was taken from conventional banks. The LVQ method was used to recognize whether the money being recognized is conterfeit or not. The coding was carried out using visual programme language. The size of the dancer recognized object  was in  90x114 px, and its RGB was extracted. The experimental results show that the system has an accuracy 100% of detecting 20 real test case data, as well as detecting 14 simulated test case data. The simulated case data was generated by varying the brightness of the data image. The real test case data contains of 10 counterfeit money and 10 original money. Abstract

Students experiencing difficulty in learning and applying the material in the course of Engineering Analysis Molecular Biology (TABM) because it is abstract. To overcome these problems, the necessary teaching materials in the form of modules TABM to assist students in learning the material contained in the course. The process of preparation of the modulesadapt the model of R & D were prepared by Walter Dick and Lou Carey (Dick et al, 2009). Modules are developed then evaluated by two experts teaching materials with a minimum educational qualification S3 with teaching experience of more than 5 years, and 18 students who are candidates for S1 and have to take TABM a course at the State University of Malang (UM). Based on the results of an expert evaluation of teaching materials and students as a whole, it can be concluded that the introduction module components, content , and grammar demonstrated excellent qualifications module so it can be concluded that the module does not need to be revised and can be used as a teaching material support for TABM course in State University of Malang ( UM ) . Keywords:teaching material, module, TABM

Abstract

This descriptive study was conducted from April 2015 to September 2016 which was aimed at investigating the competency profiles of PPG SM3T participants using workshop. It applied total sampling technique which involve 17 teacher candidates of PPG SM3T-UR. The parameters in this study were the competence which covers 8 aspect: pedagogical knowledge PK (Lesson plan, Student worksheet, Teaching materials, Instrument assessment); Conten knowledge CK (formatif test, local test and national test) and pedagogical content knowledge PCK (peerteaching). The data were gathered by means of observation sheet, porthpolio, and test. The data analysis was conducted by determining the mean scores, percentage which were tabulated, histogram and then descriptively analyzed.The findings demonstrated that the participants’ competence were categorized pedagogical content knowledge (PCK)  into very good level attained the mean scores peerteaching  (88.59), and pedagogical knowledge (PK) the mean scores (81- 85) which were categorized into good level. Content knowledge (CK) the mean scores formatif test, local tes and national test were 78,94; 78,44; 71, 86 which were categorized tendency to be into good level. aspect PK and CK that owned tendency determine for PCK. Whereas, the only aspect (PK) which had formatif test tendency to decline in the cycle-1. The other five cycle had tendency to increase. This study concluded that  the workshop was fully evident to develop the good PK, CK were contribution for PCK of the PPG SM3T-UR’s participant
