Abstract

At this time, the company CV. Glofacia Oceanic in Medan City is looking for employees to be appointed as Managers and for the Selection of Candidates for Managers who have difficulties in selecting employees who have good work performance within the company, then based on work goals and attendance, which are evaluation materials for employee appraisals to become managers. For employees who are elected will be managers in the CV. Glofacia Oceanic. The number of employees becomes the owner of difficulties for company owners in selecting employees who are appointed to become managers, so it cannot be denied that in the selection of outstanding employees at CV. Oceanic Glofacia is often done not objectively. To find out which internal employees of the company are performing well, it is necessary to assess the performance of the employees. At the time of an assessment in choosing a prospective manager, including using a decision support system to help solve a problem. The method that will be used to select prospective internal managers is the Profile Matching method with the application of this method in selecting prospective managers, so there are no errors in decision making. So it is hoped that the Profile Matching Method can provide value objectively to employees and assist the company's director in providing employee performance appraisals.

Abstract

Customer satisfaction in an application technology has an influence on the value of information technology applications. The use questionnaire method is used to measure the usability of information technology applications through aspects of usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning and satisfaction. Net Promoter Scale is a measuring tool that is widely used to measure customer satisfaction in an organization. The problem that often occurs is that when the organization takes the NPS measurement, the factors that significantly influence the NPS value are not yet known. The e-boarding application developed by PT Kereta Api Indonesia is an application that is very helpful for train passengers during boarding. However, this convenience has not been widely used by passengers using the rail transportation mode. PT Kereta Api Indonesia Persero needs to know the value of the NPS of the e-boarding application as a means of measuring customer satisfaction with the developed information technology application. The classification method uses the Classification and Regression Tree (CART) to identify the linkages between the e-boarding usability measurement aspects using a use questionnaire against the final NPS score. The purpose of this calcification is to determine the factors that affect the usability aspect of the NPS value in the KAI Access e-boarding application. The results of this study indicate that the e-boarding application has an NPS value of 42% or a GOOD value. The more customers who behave as Promoters, the higher the NPS value will be. The CART classification that has been carried out shows that to become a Promoters, the e-boarding application must have a high value of ease of learning and satisfaction.

Abstract

Foundation grants are funds that comes from foundation and given for student achievement and poor, which aims to prevent collage drop outs for students. The criteria used in determining the foundation grant recipients are GPA, parent’s income and the number of dependents. The method applied in determining the foundation grant recipients is SMART (Simple Multi Attribute rating Technique) method. Because this method able to solve the multicriteria decision making problems, base on theory that each criteria has a weight that describes how important these criteria with other criteria. The results of this research are recommendations from recipients of foundation grant.

Abstract

A loss-making service company does not yet have a website on the information of making a Tender Guarantee as a prospective principal registration medium that will use our services for the manufacture of warranties. From the system that will be made to facilitate the making of guarantee which is certificate of Bank Guarantee. The purpose of this study to produce a system of information creation and website-based registration and registration. Online information is an important part of the development of technology in the internet world. The use of website media is very profitable for many parties, for the principal or the party of the company making the loss insurance services. The design of information systems making of this guarantee is made to assist and simplify the entire process of making the existing collateral in the company.

Abstract

The eye is one of the most valuable gifts of the creator. Besides being used for looking, senses of vision are also very influential in various human activities. It takes a healthy eye to avoid being disturb. One of them is an eye disease, and we often forget to treat it well because of less public knowledge to prevent eye diseases. That's why it’s needed an expert system for diagnosing and classify diseases eye of humans, which play a role in replacing and imitate the reasoning process of an expert in solving a problem. And can give the right and fast solution to be able to help an expert to diagnosing diseases stored in the database system. In this research, an expert system was built based on Android Mobile with the use of programming language Android Studio. This application exerts system uses the forward chaining method, aims to trace the symptoms that appear in the form of questions to diagnose the type of disease that can recognize the type of disease after consulting with answering questions displayed, known disease data adjusted the rules made to match the symptoms of eye disease and gave a percentage value and can conclude the type of eye disease suffered by patients to know the value of the approach type of the patient's illness.

Abstract

Humans can produce waste every day, both household waste and industrial waste which has various forms and types. Garbage can be a problem because it interferes with human health, causes unpleasant odors and air pollution. Awareness of disposing of waste in its place is currently considered very lacking. This is because trash cans in general still use a simple way, namely by opening and closing manually. In the design of this smart trash can it will facilitate the work of the cleaning agency. In this study, a smart trash can with HC-SR04 sensor was designed using Arduino Uno R3 With the HC-SR04 sensor, it can detect the distance of humans who want to throw away and detect garbage loads. The maximum and minimum distance from the sensor is 10-60 cm to open the lid of the trash can. Data processing uses Arduino Uno R3 with Atmega328p chip which functions as data processing and sending data. The testing process that is carried out periodically produces data in the form of differences in the original distance and the distance read by the sensor with a difference of 0-1 cm, while the minimum and maximum sensor distances are 10-60 cm. This system can also detect the garbage load if it is full and will send a notification in the form of SMS. Another benefit is to make people aware of the importance of health by disposing of waste in its place. The method used is the waterfall method to detect this object is the design method which consists of several stages, namely Requirements Analysis, Design, Circuit Implementation, Test Tools.

The copyright of recognition for software programmer is needed to improve their productivity. Linux is the right choice of software to use in their fieldwork. The information system is important to help a good service in a laboratory has taken quality competition—the development of technology base on client-servers supporting an expert application maker to get customer satisfaction. Abstract

Multimedia development as one field of application in audio-visual technology seemed never to be separated from human needs of customers who desire a new innovation in every design and user friendly of an application. Build a complex software system design models require systematic for analysis and design. By using the language of the Unified Modeling Language (UML) a job can be easily designed, because UML is a visual modeling notation and semantics and object-oriented analysis and design. The requirement applications that can help candidate of Hajj and Umroh to learn the background of the application design learning the rituals of Hajj and Umrah this multimedia based. The design of the rituals of Hajj and Umroh application-based multimedia is created using Adobe Flash Professional software and Adobe Audition CS 6 CS 6 as the supporting software. This application can be integrated with android software which uses methods of UCD (User Centered Design) from the research that has been done.

Abstract

The priority algorithm is an analysis of habits that occur in purchases by looking for the association rule from different itemsets. The calculation is carried out to determine the minimum value of support and minimum confidence that will produce the association rule; the association rule is used to produce the percentage of purchasing activities against the itemset within a certain period using the weka application. The results of the best using the a priori algorithm method show that the association rule, under which the customer often buys a doll stage and an alphabet puzzle that has met the minimum value of confidence.
