Abstract

This research aims to analyze purchasing decisions for flexible packaging converting machines involving the influence of product quality and perceived value mediated by brand trust. Data were obtained using census techniques with the entire population as a research sample from 22 companies in Indonesia's flexible packaging industry that have used SBP brand converting machines, then analyzed using PLS-SEM SmartPLS 4 based on the p-value. The results indicate that the product quality variable does not have a significant effect on brand trust and purchasing decisions. The perceived value variable has a positive effect on brand trust and purchasing decisions. As an independent variable, the brand trust variable has a positive effect on purchasing decisions. However, the brand trust variable is unable to mediate the variables of product quality and perceived value on purchasing decisions

Abstract

One developmentartificial intelligence is a vehicle with an autopilot function. This issue needs to be regulated in Law Number 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation, which does not accommodate the regulation of determining driving areas for autopilot-based vehicles. The added value of this article is that it discusses the settings for determining driving areas in autopilot-based vehicles. This research uses a normative juridical research method with a conceptual approach, a legislative approach and a comparative approach through a comparison of vehicle regulation laws with AI systems in Germany, South Korea and the United States. The results of this research show that the consideration and importance of determining the driving area in vehicles with the systemAutopilot is the level of safety and vehicle autopilot system, the condition of road infrastructure in Indonesia which must be adjusted to the autopilot system, traffic density in Indonesia and the potential risks and impacts on the safety of other road users. Abstract

The prevalence of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) increases from year to year. This increase is linear with increasing problems in families with ASD, one of which is related to caring for the mother of a child with ASD, where the mother is considered the main caregiver and has a close relationship with the child. One of the factors that influences maternal care is religiosity. The aim of this study was to validate the religiosity scale in mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder. This research uses quantitative methods, with data collection in the form of distributing The Centrality of Religiosity Scale (CRS) to a sample of mothers of children with ASD, who are members of the PLA and Yamet communities in Central Java and Yogyakarta, totaling 220 subjects. Researchers carried out the process of adapting The Centrality of Religiosity Scale (CRS)(Huber & Huber, 2012),by translating it into Indonesian, adapting it to the characteristics of the subject, namely mothers of children with ASD, and adapting it to Indonesian culture. The scale validation test uses the 2nd Order CFA technique, and produces (1) a model fit test with fit criteria; (2) validity test, showing that all items are valid (a total of 15 items); (3) the reliability test shows that the five dimensions (of the CRS construct) are measured reliably. The reliability of the five CRS dimensions is classified as high based on the Composite Reliability (CR) and Average Variance Extracted (AVE) values. Apart from that, CRS also meets the convergent validity test. The results of the CRS scale model fit test met the model fit criteria, with a chi-square value = 160.00; GFI = 0.92; RMR = 0.03; RMSEA = 0.06; CFI = 0.99. It can be concluded that the results of the adaptation of The Centrality of Religiosity Scale (CRS-15 items;Huber & Huber, 2012)can be used for research because it meets the validity and reliability tests of the scale.

Abstract

Suddenly shifting from in-person to remote customer engagement because of COVID-19, posed significant threats to Business-to-Business (B2B) companies’ sales and marketing processes. This is because value models for B2B companies are dependent on in-person customer engagements for sustainability and competitiveness. This study sought to discover the implications of remote work on B2B customer engagement using a qualitative methodology. The target population for the study was thirty-one employees within Company X’s marketing and sales divisions. Judgmental sampling technique was used to sample eight participants from the defined target population. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to collect primary data from participants. The findings of the study revealed that, the absence of in-person contact has implications for remote work on B2B customer engagement. Participants expressed that it is difficult to sell technical products or turnkey solutions, build rapport, trust, and manage sustainable relationships with customers remotely. Furthermore, customer engagement strategies must be customer centric or driven by customer preferences. Thus, sales and marketing personnel should understand whether the customer prefers remote or in-person engagement. The study recommends that B2B companies standardize hybrid customer engagement strategies to establish a balance between remote and in-person contact for the sustainability of their operations.
