Abstract

This study looks at how employee performance at the Perum Damri Lampung Branch is affected by organizational culture and competency. Non-probability purposive sampling is used in this quantitative study, and 126 employees at a 5% margin of error is the sample size determined by the Slovin formula. The study was carried out between September and October, and data was gathered by means of a questionnaire that was given to participants. IBM SPSS Statistics version 27 was used for multiple linear regression data analysis. The results show that: (1) employee performance is positively and significantly impacted by organizational culture; (2) employee performance is positively and significantly impacted by competence; and (3) the Perum Damri Lampung Branch's employee performance is positively and significantly impacted by both organizational culture and competence.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of management accounting in cost control in companies. Management accounting plays an important role in providing relevant and timely information for managers to make effective decisions regarding cost control. This study uses a descriptive approach with qualitative methods, where data is collected through literature studies and in-depth interviews with financial and accounting managers in several companies. The results of the study show that management accounting has a crucial role in controlling company costs through accurate planning, budgeting, and cost tracking. By analyzing various cost components, management accounting helps managers identify and manage expenses, set appropriate prices, and evaluate operational performance. In addition, management accounting supports strategic decision-making and resource optimization, enabling companies to achieve financial goals and increase profitability. Through strategies such as cost-benefit analysis, activity-based budgeting, performance measurement, and investment in technology, managerial accountants can provide insights to improve efficiency and create long-term value, strengthening a company's competitive position and supporting sustainable profit growth.

Abstract

Saung Angklung Udjo, as one of the cultural tourism destinations in Bandung, faces major challenges in maintaining its existence, especially related to effective human resource management. This study aims to analyze the role of Human Resource Management in improving the performance of Saung Angklung Udjo after the downturn experienced due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that the Covid-19 Pandemic has had a significant impact on the tourism sector in Indonesia, including Saung Angklung Udjo in Bandung, which experienced a drastic decline in the number of visitors due to social restrictions and the closure of tourist attractions. To recover from this downturn, Saung Angklung Udjo needs to improve its management, especially in the management of human resources. Steps taken include evaluating organizational structures, implementing training programs to improve employee skills and motivation, and creating a healthy work culture. In addition, it is important to build a positive image of the organization through open communication and fair implementation of policies. The human resource development strategy must consider Sundanese cultural values, including arts and culture training, mentorship between senior and young artists, and increasing multicultural awareness. With these steps, Saung Angklung Udjo can strengthen its position as a sustainable arts and culture center.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of service quality on consumer satisfaction at the Truntum Padang Hotel. This research method is quantitative descriptive, with the variables Service Quality and Consumer Satisfaction. The population in this study were guests who had stayed at the Truntum Padang Hotel in the period November 2022 to April 2023. The sampling technique used the incidental sampling method, that is, anyone who happened to meet the researcher could be used as a sample with a suitable category as a data source. The number of samples in this research was 100 respondents. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with an interval scale whose validity and reliability have been tested. Next, analyze the data using SPSS.

Abstract

Purpose This study aims to analyze the tourism development strategy of Tiku Beach by using the 4A components (attraction, accessibility, amenity, and ancillary services) as marine tourism in Tanjung Mutiara District, Agam Regency, It is expected that after this research is conducted, the resulting model for marine tourism development can be implemented and applied for developing other areas in the future. The study employs a descriptive qualitative research design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document studies. The data were analyzed using SWOT analysis, EFAS, and IFAS matrices to formulate an appropriate development strategy based on the findings. The SWOT analysis of the 4A components shows that a growth-oriented strategy is most suitable for Tiku Beach. This strategy utilizes existing strengths to support opportunities for aggressive growth in the tourism sector. This study offers actionable insights that can enhance the strategic position and efficiency in developing marine tourism at Tiku Beach. These insights can be applied by tourism managers (Pokdarwis) and the local community to economically benefit and improve the living standards in the region,

Abstract

Loyalty is a deep customer commitment to re-subscribe or re-purchase selected products or services consistently in the future even though the influence of situations and marketing efforts have the potential to cause behavioral changes. KFC is one of the fast food companies that focuses heavily on customer satisfaction. This can be seen from KFC's vision and mission, namely "KFC is highly committed to providing sensational service to achieve customer satisfaction". The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of experiential marketing, service quality and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty in KFC customers in Bandar Lampung Bandar Lampung. This study uses a quantitative research method, the population in this study were all KFC customers in Bandar Lampung with a sample size of 114 respondents. Data analysis uses Multiple Linear Regression analysis. Based on the results of the study and discussion, it can be concluded that experiential marketing, service quality and customer satisfaction have an effect on customer loyalty in KFC customers in Bandar Lampung Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

This Study aims to formulate an appripiate innovation strategy for BUMDesTonyongMandiri in increasing the potential and welfare of the Village Communty Economy. The research, Qualitative data collection techniques in this study using purposive sampling conducted by interview, direct observation to BUMDes administrators, Village Head, Village Facilitators, while quantiatative data obtained from Community leaders through questionnaires, then the data is analyzed descriptively using SWOT analysis. The results show that BUMDesTonyongMandiri in its management has good strengths and opportunities, but there are still many things that need to be fixed including not utilizing the potential of existing naural resources, choosing types of businesses that are less in accordance with community needs, strengthening HR capacity needs to be improved, then product marketing has not been clearly directed. The result of the SWOT Matrix analysis obtained the formulation of the BUMDesTonyongMnadiri innovation strategy. Namely: 1) Analysingthe capacity of sustainable Vilage superior products, 2) Improving the supporting facilities and inftastructure for BUMDes, 3) conducting business feasibility studies, 4) partnering wit Village superior with MSMES, farmer groups and other BUMDes, 5) Utilizing Teknology, 6) involving the Community in determining the type of business to be develoved, 7) implementing trsining and education on marketing, financial, HR, operational and production management as well as BUMDes governance.

Abstract

Halal tourism is considered a subcategory of religious tourism that was born from the concept of religious tourism which covers all aspects of a Muslim's life. Generation Z is identified as a generation that is very instrumental in growth, especially in the growth of halal tourism. The purpose of the study was to analyze the factors that influence Generation Z in doing halal tourism to Banda Aceh. This research uses quantitative methods with SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) approach. Development strategy through SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the study that the location variable on the decision of generation Z tourists has a significant effect. Based on the results of the calculation, the coordinate points are in quadrant I. The strategy to be used if it is in quadrant I is an aggressive strategy. This aggressive strategy (S-O) is carried out by utilizing existing opportunities with its strengths such as the atmosphere of tourist attractions providing comfort, friendly service, tourist attractions suitable for all groups, and the facilities provided at Halal Tourism Objects in the city of Banda Aceh are quite good. From the results of the calculation of IFAS and EFAS factors, several alternative strategies can be generated in marketing and managing Halal Tourism Objects in the city of Banda Aceh in supporting more effective marketing and management.

Abstract

Tourism acknowledges the growing interest in Halal tourism, both from an industry and research. Regional wisdom is needed to approach development holistically to achieve equitable progress in economic, ecological, and social justice aspects. To enhance tourism growth, several elements must collaborate with stakeholders, a concept known as the "pentahelix." This research is a qualitative study, collects data from informants by interview method who are part of the pentahelix stakeholders: Academics, Government, Business, Community, and Media. Based on the results, the collaboration among the roles of the Pentahelix Model in the development of tourism in Padangsidempuan city is operating optimally. Academics, as Conceptors; Business, as Enablers; The Community acts as Accelerators; The Government, as Regulators, has organized activities funded by special allocation funds to support the development of halal tourism and cuisine in Padangsidempuan. Media, as Expanders, has created a brand image through its programs broadcasted on social media platforms.

Abstract

The problem in the study is that the competence of human resources in the MSME industry sector is still lacking, this can be seen from the lack of knowledge, skills and abilities of employees, such as lack of knowledge of management skills, lack of work skills such as mastery of automation system technology and e-commerce in the field of marketing, there are still limited employee abilities in terms of creativity and innovation, lack of communication and skilled service. This has an impact on the performance of MSMEs. In facing the above problems, an appropriate competency development strategy is needed while the strategies carried out are training programs, leadership development, access to technology, networking, access to capital, monitoring and evaluation. The objectives of this study are 1) To know the competence of human resources in small and small businesses in the city of Kupang .2) To find out how the right strategy is to develop human resource competencies in improving the performance of small and small businesses. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method and formulates the right strategy in developing human resource competencies. The determination of samples in this study was carried out in 4 sub-district clusters, namely Oebobo District, Kota Raja, Kelapa Lima and Oesapa with a purposive non-probability sampling sampling technique, namely selecting human resources for MSMEs in accordance with the set criteria. Data collection uses interview, observation, questionnaire and documentation techniques. The result of this study is the concept of human resource development strategies for MSMEs in improving MSME performance.
