Abstract

The research evaluated inventory management (IM) strategies employed by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Makassar City manufacturing sector, Indonesia. The study drew its participants from industrial zones including Sudiang, Perintis, Bumi Taman Permai, and Uripsumuarjo. Respondents were purposefully selected from companies within these areas. A qualitative, descriptive research design was adopted, utilizing purposive sampling. From a sample size of 244 participants, data was gathered through completed questionnaires. The study revealed that the majority of SMEs rely on the Just-In-Time (JIT) inventory management approach, with limited familiarity with other computerized inventory systems. Given the reliance on JIT, SMEs experience supply chain difficulties, as they must maintain consistent communication with suppliers and minimize material delivery times. However, due to a lack of computerized systems, orders are often placed only when needed, causing delays for customers. Based on these findings, the researchers suggested that further research be conducted to explore specific areas in greater depth.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of leadership style and supervision by the principal on the performance of public high school teachers in East Baturaja District, OKU Regency, using quantitative methods where the research results are presented in descriptive form using statistical figures. The independent variables in this study are leadership style (X1) and principal supervision (X2) while teacher performance (Y) is the dependent variable. From the results of data analysis, it can be proven that the principal's leadership is very influential on teacher performance. The magnitude of this influence is expressed by the coefficient of determination of 99%. This is understood because leadership has a very important role in moving the wheels of the organization so as to improve the quality of teacher work. With the regression equation Y = 2.610 + 1.437 X1 shows that each increase of one unit of principal leadership score will cause an increase in teacher performance score by 1.437 units at a constant 2.610. The magnitude of the influence of supervision is expressed by the coefficient of determination of 88%. Academic supervision carried out by principals has a very important function for teachers in improving their performance in relation to their main duties and functions. Based on the results of multiple regression obtained from the analysis of the table, R square is 98.7 which is the square of 0.9942 This score is the coefficient of determination which is the coefficient of determination.

Abstract

The timeliness of financial reporting is an important aspect in maintaining corporate transparency and accountability, especially for companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study aims to analyze factors that affect the timeliness of financial reporting on the IDX, including internal company variables such as company size, profitability, leverage, and complexity of operations. This study uses a quantitative method with a logistic regression approach to identify the influence of each variable on the likelihood of timely financial reporting. The secondary data used is obtained from the annual financial statements of companies listed on the IDX during a certain period. The results show that company size and profitability have a positive and significant effect on the timeliness of reporting, while leverage and complexity of operations show a diverse influence depending on the characteristics of the industry sector. The study also highlights that external factors such as regulation and compliance with accounting standards can affect the timeliness of reporting. These findings have important implications for company management, investors, and regulators in understanding the factors that encourage or hinder the timeliness of financial reporting. By understanding these factors, companies can improve the quality of financial reporting that is in line with stakeholder expectations and meets the demands of the capital market.
