Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and ticket prices on consumer decisions to use PT. North Star of Medan. The sample of this research is 100 consumers. The analysis technique used is Multiple Regression analysis, T test, F test and Coefficient of Determination. The suitability test using the t test was conducted to partially test the effect between the independent variable and the dependent variable with the assumption that other variables are considered constant. The results of the equation analysis. The calculated t value for the Service Quality variable (X1) is 13,434 when compared to the t table value of 1,660. Then the calculated t obtained is greater than the t table value or 13,434 > 1.660, then it is also seen that the sig value is smaller than the probability value 0.000 < 0.005 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so that the X1 variable has a contribution to Y. The calculated t value for the Price variable Tickets (X2) are 4,177 when compared to the t table value of 1,660. Then the t arithmetic obtained is greater than the t table value or 4.177 > 1.660, then it is also seen that the sig value is smaller than the probability value 0.000 < 0.005 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted so that the X2 variable has a contribution to Y. The calculated f value is 828.061 with sig level 0.000 therefore sig value 0.000 <0.005 and F count 828.061> F table 2.70 this shows that Ho is rejected so it can be concluded that the independent variables X1, and X2 simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable Y. R square value (R2) or the square of R shows the coefficient of determination is 0.945 or 94.5%, meaning that the percentage of influence between Service Quality and Ticket Prices on Consumer Decisions. While the remaining 5.5% is explained by other factors.

Abstract

Mangrove forests in the mangrove and proboscis monkey conservation area (KKMB) are natural resources that are closely related to the survival of the rare endemic species of Kalimantan, and also KKMB is one of the forests located in the city center which has benefits as a life support system up to a medium development of science and education, as well as having benefits in the form of services that function as nature tourism. This study aims to calculate the economic value of the mangrove and proboscis monkey conservation area in Tarakan City, North Kalimantan. The type of data used in this research is quantitative with a survey approach. The data analysis method used is the travel cost approach to determine the value of tourism objects, replacement cost to determine the abrasion-resistant value, benefit transfer to determine the value of biodiversity, and willingness to pay to determine the existence value and heritage value. Based on the results of this study indicate that the total economic value of KKMB reaches Rp. 239,482,368,922/year including a tourist object value of Rp. 318,116,633/year, the value of the abrasion barrier is Rp. 3,852,800,082/year, biodiversity value of Rp. 28,174,607/year, the mangrove existence value is Rp. 114,988,068,000/year, and the proboscis monkey's inheritance value is Rp. 120,295,209,600.

Abstract

This study aims to measure and analyze the effect of government spending on education, government spending on health, government spending on social protection, investment, and an educated workforce on the human development index in eastern Indonesia, both directly and indirectly through economic growth. This study uses panel data with 17 cross sections over a 5 year time series , from 2015 to 2019. The analytical method used is the structural equation method. The results of the study show that government spending on education does not have a direct effect on the human development index, while government spending on health, investment and an educated workforce has a positive effect. Meanwhile, government spending on social protection has a negative effect. Meanwhile, the indirect effect of all exogenous variables through economic growth is stated to have no effect. This is due to the absence of the influence of economic growth on the human development index. The most dominant influence on the human development index is from an educated workforce, so the government needs to focus more on educating the entire community to create superior and competitive human resources. Superior human resources are directly proportional to income which will increase so that a decent standard of living can be met, because the most important thing in the entire development process is the people themselves.
