Abstract

The development of ecotourism in Indonesia is carried out not only by the government but also by Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). One district, namely Klaten Regency, has 300 BUMDes from 319 villages, and is the largest district that has BUMDes businesses in various categories. Some of these BUMDes focus on developing tourism that utilizes natural wealth or other environmental potential. Tourism development is based on cooperative, participatory, emancipatory, transparent, accountable and sustainable principles. This research study method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The research objects were 6 (six) villages in Klaten Regency, 3 (three) villages with BUMDes in the advanced category, 2 (two) BUMDes developing, and one BUMDes in the growing category. From the results of research on BUMDes, the principle of transparency is realized starting from budget management, for example at the start of its establishment it produces profits, which are paid as PADes amounting to 30% of the profits from business income and all of this can be accounted for for BUMDes in the advanced category. Meanwhile, BUMDes in the category of growth and development show the principle of transparency starting from the preparation of a master plan for developing business facilities from BUMDes, environmental management and intensifying promotion. Innovation and development of BUMDes that are successful and in the "advanced" category are the hopes of the community or village residents in Klaten Regency, because with the success of BUMDes will have an impact on the welfare of village communities. The success of BUMDes certainly cannot be separated from the role of various elements such as village government, community and community institutions.

Abstract

Android-based learning multimedia is a learning media used in the learning process because it can be used anytime and anywhere. Several barriers to learning have been identified in basic computer and network courses. Based on observations made on the introduction of computer hardware and software, the barriers found are the relatively low level of student knowledge of the subject matter, student involvement in the learning process is also low and the learning media still uses power point containing learning theories derived from books. This research uses UML as a multimedia development tool along with RAD (Rapid Application Development) methodology. Based on the results of trials conducted on students, the results obtained that students feel very interested in learning using android-based interactive multimedia in basic computer network subjects on computer hardware and software introduction material.

Abstract

This research investigates the development of a payroll system in a pharmacy using an Agile approach as a solution to overcome the challenges of employee data management complexity and the need for responsiveness to business changes. The method includes three main stages: user requirements analysis, application development using the Extreme Programming (XP) method, and functional evaluation and user acceptance. The results showed that the Agile approach successfully improved the flexibility, software product responsiveness, and quality of the software satisfaction rate by 79%. The contribution of this research lies in the practical recommendations presented for developing a successful payroll system using the Agile approach, as well as highlighting the importance of adaptability and effective communication in overcoming the challenges of system development in a changing and regulated business environment. This research provides valuable insights for practitioners and researchers in understanding Agile's implementation in the payroll system development context in the pharmaceutical sector.

Abstract

Paradoxically, the current level of enthusiasm among the younger generation in studying the education industry is low. This phenomenon can be attributed to multiple factors, including the rapid spread of globalization, which has sparked a heightened interest among the younger generation in acquiring technological knowledge. Researchers employed the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) approach, consisting of six stages: initiation, pre-production, production, testing, beta, and release. Testing using the black-box method on 12 modules revealed that all modules performed flawlessly without any issues. Testing of the beta version of the game involved 62 testers who were instructed to play the game and complete a questionnaire. The findings were positive, with an average total score of 4.51 for the game elements. The gaming system performed well during testing, indicating its potential to be well-received by beta testers and users, as well as its ability to enhance students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This research investigates the application of Agile methods in developing drug inventory applications in pharmacies. The problems identified were the complexity of drug stock management, challenges in fulfilling drug requests and dispensing, and the risk of delay and loss of drugs that could compromise the efficiency and accuracy of inventory management. The research method involved comprehensive data collection, application development using the Agile approach, and user acceptance evaluation. The evaluation results showed a user satisfaction rate of 80%, with the application successfully meeting user needs and expectations and functioning key features such as drug stock management, ordering and procurement, and drug expiration tracking. The contribution of this research is to prove that the application of Agile methods can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of drug stock management in pharmacies and provide guidance for developing applications responsive to user needs in the healthcare industry.

Abstract

Implementing IoT technology in intelligent aquaculture, including water quality surveillance based on IoT data, represents a viable strategy for enhancing the calibre and output of aquaculture. Farmers are able to autonomously gather water quality data and relay it to the control system in a timely manner so that appropriate measures can be taken. This practice not only contributes to the enhancement of aquaculture quality but also mitigates production expenses and ecological footprint. Using the prototyping method, an IoT-based water quality monitoring application prototype was developed for this study. This procedure is ideally suited for satisfying user requirements and developing effective applications. The findings of the study indicate that the primary purpose of this application is to precisely monitor and report water quality conditions (temperature, pH, turbidity, and oxygen levels) in real time, without the need to physically visit the fish farming site. Additionally, the application incorporates an Early Warning System (EWS) that notifies users via Telegram Group and Android phone alarms when water quality deteriorates. Furthermore, the application integrates the most recent weather data at the fish aquaculture site with the Balinese lunar calendar (Sasih), providing supplementary insights into the present state of the surrounding environment and the impact of Sasih. Furthermore, this application incorporates a notification alarm message functionality that, when the water quality of the fish aquaculture location falls below a specified threshold, enables multiple members of the Telegram Group to receive alert messages. With the integration of these functionalities, the water quality monitoring application is anticipated to significantly contribute to the real-time management, surveillance, alleviation, and regulation of water quality.
