Abstract

This study utilises a mixed-method approach to analyse the impact and usage of mobile technology among Indonesian English as a Foreign Language (EFL) teachers and students. The study examines gender factors to understand their interrelation with mobile technology usage. Using online survey questionnaires and semi-structured interviews, this research explores the viewpoints of 150 English educators and 215 secondary students in Indonesia, concentrating on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Mobile Technology Impact (MTI). The findings demonstrate a clear link between TAM and MTI for both teacher and student cohorts. Male and female students typically hold similar perceptions of TAM and MTI, with the exception of the aspect of promoting collaborative learning. Female students demonstrate a more favourable outlook in this regard. In contrast, teachers uniformly perceive TAM and MTI regardless of their gender. Additionally, the promotion of collaborative learning appears as the least important factor in both Structural Equation Models (SEMs). These discoveries have implications for mobile device incorporation in English classrooms, highlighting the necessity for custom approaches to satisfy diverse perceptions and demographics.

Abstract

Predictions of an event are carried out to see what will happen in the future, including predictions for students who will register. This is done so that the head of the study program or student affairs will immediately move to approach students who are predicted not to be likely to register. This research implements data mining predictions of student registration. There are often wrong predictions about who might not register. So that the student's approach to decision-making before the time of registration is not carried out by the study program or student affairs. Research Method, namely the survey research method, is a research method carried out using surveys or direct data collection from interested parties, namely the head of the study program. The algorithm used to analyze the data is the K-nearest neighbor algorithm. This research aims to apply data mining to predict student her-registration and to carry out analysis using data mining to predict student her-registration. The research results of applying data mining with the K-Nearest Neighbors algorithm can solve the problem of student enrollment prediction analysis. Of the 10 students who predicted their registration, 7 students would register and 3 students would not register.

Abstract

Rewards are given to appreciate the work or performance of a person or team. Research was conducted to provide rewards to Asmika and Areka teachers using the SAW method. This research applies the SAW method where giving rewards often causes debate due to differences of opinion. So that the decision to give rewards can be made appropriately and by the criteria that have been set. Research Method, namely the survey research method, is a research method carried out using surveys or direct data collection from interested parties. The method used to analyze the data is the SAW method. This research aims to apply the SAW method in giving rewards to ASMIKA and AREKA teachers and to design and build a decision support system for giving rewards to ASMIKA and AREKA teachers. This research targets the results of the application for giving rewards to ASMIKA and AREKA teachers where the research results will be published in the Sinta journal. The results of the research on the application of the SAW method of giving rewards to Asmika and Areka teachers began with determining criteria, alternative, and Crips data as sub-criteria. Rewards are given if the results of the analysis of alternative data get a value >=80. The research found the conclusion that one alternative received a reward, namely A4, while A1, A2, A3, and A5 had not yet received a reward. The SAW method can be applied to the process of giving rewards to Asmika and Areka teachers.

Abstract

RT stands for “Rukun Tetangga” which is led by a “Ketua RT”. The head of a RT is an individual elected by residents in a residential area, who has the responsibility to lead and manage activities and daily affairs within the RT area. RT areas have regulations that have long been implemented, namely guests who are not local residents have an obligation to report to the RT office within 1 x 24 hours during their visit to enter an area. This is done to provide a sense of security and order in the surrounding environment. However, these regulations often do not work as they should. So, to facilitate practice, research to design and build a web-based mandatory reporting guest application system was carried out. This website is designed to make it easier for guests to report when entering the RT.03 area without having to go to the RT head's office. The Extreme Programming (XP) method is used in making this website because the software development method is fast, efficient, low risk, flexible, predictable, scientific, and fun. The stages that need to be followed in building a mandatory guest reporting system with the XP method are planning, designing, coding, and system testing. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the mandatory guest reporting system is very effective in helping to facilitate the guest labor process and also the data collection of guests who come.

Abstract

Background: High blood glucose levels in Diabetes Mellitus patients can harm renal capillaries. Chronic Kidney Disease caused by Diabetes Mellitus begins with microalbuminuria. Chronic Kidney Disease patients with Diabetes Mellitus at RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Bandar Lampung from July 202 to December 2022 there were 127 patiens.Purpose : The aim of this study was to determine blood glucose levels ini Chronic Kidney Disease patients suffering from Diabetes Mellitus at RSUD Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Bandar Lampung.Method : This research is an observational analytical research with a cross- sectional approach. The sample in this study was calculated using the Slovin formula so that the number of samples used was 99. Data analysts used univariate analysis.Result : from the research result, it was found that 127 patients with Chronic Kidney Disease suffered from Diabetes Mellitus. Chronic Kidney Disease with Diabetes Mellitus was most often found in men, 64 patients (50.4%), in the age group, Chronic Kidney Disease with Diabetes Mellitus was most often found in patients aged 51-60 years, 56 patients (44.1%), while the blood glucose levels of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease with Diabetes Mellitus were most often found in patients with blood glucose levels >180 mg/DL, 76 patients (59.8%). Conclussion : The blood glucose level most often found was >180 mg/DL, namely 76 patients were called the hyperglycemia category and the lowest blood glucose level found was <74 mg/DL, namely 2 patinents were calles the hypoglycemia category.

Abstract

The quality of education is one of the factors of change and development in the field of education. The role of teachers is very important, because the performance development carried out will be an assessment, consideration and reference for obtaining promotions. SMK Al-Ihya Selajambe conducts teacher assessments once a year. So far, the assessment carried out in determining the classification of promotion is still carried out conventionally or not computerized so that it requires a lot of time and the assessment is not necessarily accurate, and there is no method in the teacher assessment process. Therefore, it is necessary to have a computerized system and a method that can help the school. The method used is decision tree and C4.5 algorithm with testing using RapidMiner application. The final results of this study obtained training data with an Accuracy value of 90.00%, precision of 80.00% and recall of 100.00% which is classified as very good. As well as testing data with an Accuracy value of 60.00%, precision of 50.00% which is classified as quite good and recall of 100.00% which is classified as very good.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of validity and effectiveness of interactive learning media using the developed lectora inspire software. This research is a development research using the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets, questionnaires, observation sheets and test sheets. The results showed that the average value of material expert validation was 95% and the average value of design expert validation was 85.45% which means that the interactive media developed is suitable for use in the field but with revisions from some expert advice. The results of observations made on student learning activity using interactive media amounted to 87.7% with a very good category. Based on the results of an open questionnaire distributed to students in a limited trial, it was found that students were enthusiastic and enthusiastic about learning using interactive media, this means that the developed media is very well used in Digital Learning lectures. The results of field trials stated that the medial developed was feasible for use with an average student response of 87.05% answering very interested in learning using interactive learning media developed so that it could be understood by students. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that interactive media using lectora inspire which was developed is categorized as valid and effective so that it is very good to be used in the Digital Learning lecture process.
