Abstract

Purpose – To gain new knowledge or make discoveries. As proof or testing of the truth of existing knowledge. As a development of knowledge in an existing scientific field. The objectives that researchers wish to express in conducting this research are as follows: 1) find out the effect of work motivation on employee performance. 2) Knowing the influence of work motivation on job satisfaction and its impact on employee performance.   Design/methodology/approach – Using a quantitative approach, researchers conducted research at the Regional Public Drinking Water Company (PDAM) Among Tirto, Batu City, located on Jl. Kartini No. 10, Stone.The results of the analysis using SPSS 17.0 tools.   Findings – Work motivation influences employee performance and job satisfaction can mediate the influence of work motivation on employee performance. To improve employee performance, it is necessary to be aware of the obligations given. Therefore, researchers suggest to the Regional Public Company for Drinking Water Among Tirto, Batu City, to guide employees to be more responsible for the responsibilities given.   Research limitations/implications – To increase work motivation, it is necessary to pay attention to physiological needs, namely providing a decent salary. Therefore, researchers suggest to the Regional Public Company for Drinking Water Among Tirto, Batu City, to provide decent salaries so that employees feel satisfied so that they can improve employee performance.   Originality/value – To enhance job satisfaction, it is crucial to focus on salary satisfaction, specifically by offering fair salaries. Therefore, researchers suggest to the Regional Public Company for Drinking Water, Among Tirto, Batu City, to provide a fair salary so as not to cause feelings of envy with other employees, so that they feel satisfied at work and can improve employee performance.

Abstract

There are many inconsistencies between positions and officeholders. So that the performance of an organization is felt to be less than optimal. The location of the research carried out by researchers was the Transmigration and Social Workforce Service in Malang Regency. The researcher's aim in choosing this location is related to research activities in the work area of the Transmigration and Social Workforce Service in Malang Regency. The data analysis methods in this research are qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis.Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the researchers in this research, namely by testing and analyzing job analysis, have a simultaneous influence on performance achievement at the Malang Regency Manpower, Transmigration, and Social Service, which can be concluded based on the results of data processing in the field and matching the results of data processing. By using SPSS, it was concluded that the job analysis had a simultaneous effect on performance achievement at the Malang Regency Manpower, Transmigration, and Social Service. Meanwhile, the results of the researcher's research in the discussion also reveal that there is a partial influence of job specifications on performance achievement within the Malang Regency Manpower, Transmigration, and Social Service. And the final result of this research is that, by assessing the suitability of the research results and discussion, it can be concluded that, from the results of the research that has been carried out, the author recommends that job specifications are more dominant in influencing employee performance increases compared to others. Job specifications are able to improve employee performance and are categorized as improving the performance of the civil service organization so that it is able to achieve program objectives as desired in the environment at the Malang Regency Social and Transmigration Manpower Service.

Abstract

    In general, research objectives include: To obtain new knowledge or discoveries. To find out whether job analysis has a simultaneous effect on performance achievement. To find out whether Job Specifications have a partial effect on performance achievement. To find out how influential Job Analysis and Job Specifications are on performance achievement at the Malang Regency Manpower, Transmigration, and Social Service. The research approach used in this research is quantitative. The research location is the place where the research is carried out. Determination of research location. This is a very important stage in qualitative research because determining the research location means that the object and objectives have been determined, making it easier for the writer to carry out the research. Thus, researchers conducted research at the Malang Customs and Excise Office which is located at Raya Situbondo No.37, Lkr. Kp. Baru, Bulusan, Kec. Kalipuro, Malang Regency, East Java 68451.The results of this research are that the first hypothesis can prove that, leadership variables, work discipline, and work environment, simultaneously influence the performance of Malang Customs and Excise employees. Testing the second hypothesis proves that partially the leadership and work discipline variables do not have a significant effect on the performance of Malang Customs and Excise employees, while the work environment variable is proven to have a positive and significant effect on the performance of Malang Customs and Excise employees. The Adjusted R Square results are still low at 14.7 percent in the research. And the data obtained from respondents is very small so it is susceptible to Normality problems when processing the data. The data should have been 92 respondents, but the researchers only got 52 respondents, this happened because the COVID-19 situation still exists which requires employees to carry out health protocols and several Customs and Excise employees are carrying out services outside the region.

Abstract

PT. Astra Motor Honda is the company where the author conducted research. Currently, the employee performance management system is still done manually, causing a buildup of paper, limited data, and data inequalities.   The type of research used in the research is research with a quantitative descriptive approach. The system development method that the author uses in creating this employee performance information system is to provide a new design for the current information system flow. The result achieved is a management information system, which displays images or charts showing the sequence and relationship between processes along with instructions that display employee value data, creating employee schedules, and financial reports. The management information system that has been developed is expected to simplify and speed up the process of managing the required data and information.

Abstract

Financial institutions have an important role in the economy of a country, namely as financial intermediary institutions. The types of financial institutions in Indonesia are divided into two types, namely those differentiated based on interest payments, conventional financial institutions (LKK) or profit sharing, and sharia financial institutions (LKS). The growth of Sharia financial institutions will be faced with competition between conventional bank interest rates and the profit-sharing rates received by customers. This competition will lead to the choice factors of the Indonesian people in investing or making transactions. Many people choose to invest in conventional financial institutions because they see the high interest rates offered. This research aims to find out whether the level of trust, service, return of results, and compliance with Sharia law influence the decision of micro, small, and medium enterprises to become financing customers at conventional financial institutions and Sharia financial institutions. The sampling technique uses a probability sampling method or random sample selection. The respondents in this research were Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Godean District, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region Province. Data analysis of factors that differentiate MSMEs into LKK and LKS customers was processed using SPSS 21.0 for Windows. The conclusion is that the level of trust, level of service, level of returns, and level of legal compliance influence the decision of micro, small, and medium enterprises to become customers in conventional financial institutions and sharia financial institutions.

Abstract

Sumberagung Village is the village that receives the most village funds because it is the poorest village in Sumbermanjing Wétan District. Therefore, it is necessary to know about the performance of the value-for-money-based village fund budget and the influence of the factors that can influence it. This research aims to determine the performance of the value-for-money-based village fund budget and its influence on the variables of accountability, transparency, supervision, and a basic understanding of accounting.In this research, the author used quantitative methods. The population used was all village officials in Sumbermanjing Wétan sub-district, Malang, and 60 respondents were used. The data collection was based on surveys and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistics, data quality testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.The results of this research show a calculated t value of 2.532 > t-table of 2.00488 and a significance value (sig.) of 0.05 > 0.031, meaning that accountability has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the village fund budget. The t-count value is 4.148 > t-table is 2.00488 and the significance value (sig.) is 0.05 > 0.018, meaning that transparency has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Village Fund budget. The t-count value is 3.018 > t-table is 2.00488 and the significance value (sig.) is 0.05 > 0.013, meaning that participation has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the village fund budget. The t-count value is 4.702 > t-table is 2.00488 and the significance value (sig.) is 0.05 > 0.000, meaning that supervision has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the village fund budget. The t-count value is 3.015 > t-table is 2.00488 and the significance value (sig.) is 0.05 > 0.004, meaning that understanding accounting has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the Village Fund budget.

Abstract

      This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of company size, profitability, leverage, and earnings management on tax avoidance simultaneously and partially, as well as the influence of political connections as a moderating variable in mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The population in this study are companies listed in the mining sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the period 2020–2021. The sample in this study uses a saturated sampling technique (census), so a population of 47 companies will be used as the total sample for 12 consecutive years., respectively, so that the total observations are 478 companies. The results of hypothesis testing prove that company size, profitability, leverage, and earnings management simultaneously have a significant effect on tax avoidance. Partially, company size has a positive and insignificant effect on tax avoidance; profitability and leverage have a significant positive effect on tax avoidance; and earnings management has a negative and insignificant effect on tax avoidance. Political connections are significant in moderating profitability through tax avoidance, and political connections are not significant in moderating company size, leverage, or earnings management through tax avoidance.

Abstract

      This research aims to analyze and describe human resource development strategies in the Ceramics business group in Dinoyo District, South Konawe City. The results of this research can be practically useful for developing human resources in the agate business. This research is descriptive. The population and sample in this research were 55 business actors involved in the ceramics business in Dinoyo District, South Konawe City. Data was obtained through interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is SWOT analysis: strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.The findings of this research indicate that the appropriate strategy to use in developing human resources in the Ceramics business group in Dinoyo District, South Konawe City, is a divestment strategy whose application is to carry out a selection process for human resource activities such as eliminating the process of making pendants or necklaces because these products are less popular with the public so that these activities can be transferred to a more useful talent development process so that in the future the craftsmen become more developed and creative to produce more varied and innovative ceramic products.

Abstract

The objectives that the researcher wants to express in conducting this research are to: 1) find out the marketing mix strategy implemented by the company. 2) Knowing the effect of the company's marketing mix on sales volume. Using a quantitative approach, researchers conducted research at Toko Aneka, which is located at Jl. Raya Singosari No. 69, Losari, Candirenggo, Kec. Singosari, Malang Regency, East Java 65153.From the results of the analysis, the influence of the marketing mix on sales volume can be seen using SPSS 17.0 tools. By using SPSS, it can be concluded that the F test shows a significance value of less than 0.05, which shows that the four indicators can influence sales volume. The results of the analysis from the T-test can be concluded that the four indicators that have significant value results are distribution, so it can be said that distribution can influence sales volume.Toko Aneka Elektronik needs to evaluate the marketing mix currently implemented, which has an insignificant influence on the volume of television sales in the Singosari area and its surroundings. For example, if the promotional activity carried out is personal selling, the company can use SPG staff as needed so that personal selling can run more effectively. And research needs to be done on promotions to increase sales volume. Distribution has a significant influence on the volume of television sales in the Singosari area and its surroundings; however, the vehicles used in distribution activities are only sedans and pickups. For this reason, Toko Aneka Elektronik can increase distribution by adding more vehicles for distribution activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to uncover the challenges and opportunities, especially digitalization in various economic aspects such as in cooperatives. This study aims to analyze whether the implementation of digital cooperatives is in accordance with the principles or concepts of digitalization. This study uses a descriptive approach to understand the situation. Participants in this study involved one of the cooperatives in Malang Regency, which has been engaged in production cooperatives with various types of business and has used digital in the implementation process. The data in this study use primary and secondary data obtained directly through interviews and literature studies. The results of this study are expected to provide an overview and input on how to implement appropriate digital cooperatives as a step in efforts to empower cooperatives in the digital era.
