Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has reshaped educational systems worldwide, compelling institutions to reconfigure their management strategies in order to sustain quality and relevance. This study explores innovative approaches to educational management in the digital era, with particular attention to leadership practices, institutional adaptability, and cultural readiness in Indonesian educational institutions. The purpose of this research is to identify how schools and universities strategically align digital transformation with organizational goals and to assess the challenges that influence the sustainability of innovation. A qualitative design was employed using a multiple case study approach, involving purposive sampling of 35 participants, including university leaders, school principals, administrative staff, and teachers. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis, and analyzed thematically with the assistance of NVivo software. The findings reveal three major themes: first, leadership strategies, especially collaborative and visionary leadership, serve as critical drivers of digital transformation; second, institutions display varying levels of adaptability, with universities utilizing structured digital governance systems and schools relying on simpler platforms due to resource constraints; and third, cultural and organizational barriers, such as resistance to change and limited digital literacy, hinder sustainable innovation. This research contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence from a developing country context and proposing a conceptual understanding of educational management that integrates leadership, adaptability, and cultural factors. The study concludes that innovation in educational management is essential to building institutional resilience and ensuring meaningful educational outcomes in the digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to classify Indonesian provinces based on the effectiveness of using the Taspen Authentication Application and to compare the performance of the K-Means and K-Medoids clustering algorithms. The research employed a quantitative approach using secondary data derived from the Taspen Authentication metrics, which include ten variables such as user, session, retention, login effectiveness, churn rate, and conversion rate. The data from 38 provinces were analyzed using cluster analysis. The optimal number of clusters was determined using the Elbow Method, and validation was performed with the Davies-Bouldin Index (DBI). The results indicate that the K-Means algorithm provides better clustering performance, with a DBI value of 1.752 and a Silhouette Coefficient of 0.2850. The findings reveal that 50% (19 provinces) demonstrate high effectiveness, 13.16% (5 provinces) moderate effectiveness, and 36.84% (14 provinces) low effectiveness in using the application. These results can serve as a basis for PT TASPEN and policymakers to develop region-specific strategies, including enhanced socialization, training, and infrastructure support to improve the overall effectiveness of the Taspen Authentication Application across Indonesia.

Abstract

This conceptual analysis explores the integration of student-oriented learning (SOL) within Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum, addressing the evolving needs of education in the post-pandemic era. The shift from traditional teacher-centered approaches to SOL is driven by the need to develop 21st-century skills critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity amid rapid socio-economic changes and learning losses from COVID-19 disruptions. SOL empowers students as active agents in knowledge construction, with teachers acting as facilitators who tailor instruction to individual needs, motivations, and contexts. This aligns with the "Merdeka Belajar" initiative, launched by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) in 2022, which emphasizes flexibility, autonomy, and holistic development to foster the Profil Pelajar Pancasila. The study aims to analyze SOL’s principles, its alignment with Merdeka’s components, including flexible learning designs, Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5), and formative assessments, while identifying implementation challenges and offering practical recommendations. Employing qualitative library research, it synthesizes secondary sources from 2024-2025, including journals, policy reports, and books, analyzed through Miles and Huberman’s interactive model of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Findings reveal that SOL enhances student engagement through project-based learning and personalized feedback, improving academic outcomes and soft skills. However, challenges such as partial teacher understanding and digital disparities in remote 3T regions hinder effective implementation, exacerbating educational inequalities. Recommendations include intensive Guru Penggerak training, infrastructure upgrades via public-private partnerships, and inclusive monitoring to bridge theory-practice gaps, ensuring sustainable and inclusive educational recovery in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pendidikan Islam inklusif di UIN Sumatera Utara dalam perspektif multikulturalisme. Pendidikan Islam inklusif menjadi signifikan di tengah konteks keberagaman etnis, budaya, dan nilai sosial masyarakat Sumatera Utara, sehingga perguruan tinggi Islam harus mampu merespons kebutuhan tersebut melalui kurikulum, pedagogi, dan kebijakan kampus yang inklusif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan penelitian terdiri dari dosen, mahasiswa, dan unsur pimpinan universitas yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai inklusivitas telah terintegrasi dalam kurikulum dan kebijakan institusional, namun implementasinya pada tingkat pedagogi belum merata. Interaksi mahasiswa menunjukkan adanya lingkungan belajar yang multikultural, meskipun integrasi sosial akademik masih memerlukan pendekatan sistematis. Dosen memiliki pemahaman yang cukup baik mengenai konsep inklusivitas, tetapi kemampuan pedagogi inklusif berbeda antara satu dengan lainnya. Tantangan utama meliputi belum adanya pedoman baku pedagogi inklusif, kurangnya pelatihan, dan keterbatasan ruang dialog lintas budaya. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pendidikan Islam inklusif dalam perspektif multikulturalisme memerlukan sinergi antara kurikulum, kompetensi dosen, dan kebijakan institusional. Temuan ini diharapkan menjadi rujukan bagi PTKIN lain dalam mengembangkan kampus Islam yang inklusif, toleran, dan moderat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran manajemen humas di lembaga pendidikan dengan studi kasus SDIT AT-TAQWA Narogong. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, sedangkan keabsahan data diperiksa menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajer humas berperan dalam membangun citra SDIT AT-TAQWA, dan upaya pencitraan yang dilakukan telah mulai menunjukkan hasil, antara lain: (1) terwujudnya SDIT yang berkualitas dan mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikan masyarakat sekitar; (2) meningkatnya kualitas pendidikan masyarakat; (3) terbentuknya kultur masyarakat yang agamis yang mendorong SDIT AT-TAQWA menjadi pusat kegiatan keagamaan; dan (4) meningkatnya kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap keberadaan SDIT. Berdasarkan pembahasan penelitian yang disusun dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan temuan khusus di lapangan, terungkap bahwa: (1) strategi manajemen humas memiliki peran penting dalam membangun citra SDIT; (2) pemahaman terhadap kondisi internal dan eksternal SDIT melalui identifikasi kelemahan dan kekuatan memungkinkan manajer humas menetapkan langkah-langkah perbaikan yang tepat; dan (3) perbaikan dilakukan baik pada aspek fisik maupun nonfisik SDIT.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between teacher certification and the quality of education at SMA Negeri 1 Hinai. The research employed a quantitative approach supported by qualitative data through observation, questionnaires, and interviews. The respondents consisted of 30 certified teachers. The analysis results show a significant relationship between teacher certification and the quality of education. The product moment correlation test obtained a value of 0r = 0,822, which is interpreted as very strong, while the t-test revealed 0t_ count (7.632) > 0t_table (2.048). This indicates that the better the implementation of teacher certification, the higher the quality of education achieved. The interview findings support these results: the principal observed that certified teachers are more disciplined, administratively organized, and actively engaged in self-development. Non-certified teachers considered certification beneficial but often constrained by motivation and administrative burdens. Meanwhile, students perceived certified teachers as more structured, interactive, and engaging in teaching, although the utilization of technological facilities remained limited. The study concludes that teacher certification has a significant contribution to improving the quality of education; however, its effectiveness needs to be supported by teachers’ internal motivation, academic supervision, and adequate school facilities.

Abstract

Indonesia merupakan Negara dengan keragaman budaya, suku, dan adat istiadat sehingga memiliki kondisi multikultural yang kompleks. Seorang guru dapat dikatakan profesional apabila memiliki keterampilan serta keahlian dalam melaksanakan proses belajar mengajar agar tugasnya sebagai tenaga pendidik dapat terlaksana dengan baik dan tercipta pembelajaran yang tidak hanya memudahkan siswa tetapi juga menciptakan siswa yang berwawasan multikultural. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk : (1) Untuk melihat sejauh mana keterlaksanaan penanaman nilai – nilai multikultural dalam membentuk siswa kelas XI di SMA Surya Pematang Siantar. (2) Untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya guru dalam menciptakan keharmonisan dan kerukunan pada siswa kelas XI yang berbeda agama dan suku bangsa di SMA Surya Pematang Siantar. Penelitian ini bersifat penelitian lapangan dan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data ada tiga cara yaitu : observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data , merangkum data, dan penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.Dampak penanaman nilai – nilai multikultural terhadap siswa SMA Surya Pematang Siantar yaitu tumbuhnya sikap saling toleran, saling menghormati, menerima pendapat orang lain, saling bekerja sama dan tidak bermusuhan, serta tidak adanya konflik yang disebabkan perbedaan budaya, suku, bahasa, adat istiadat dan agama. Hal ini menajadikan kehidupan di sekolah menjadi harmonis, rukun, damai dan saling berdampingan satu sama lain.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan secara mendalam serta menganalisis proses perencanaan dan berbagai hambatan yang muncul dalam penerapan program Merdeka Belajar berbasis literasi pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) di SMP Negeri 2 Pancur Batu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Data primer diperoleh dari guru mata pelajaran IPA dan peserta didik sebagai informan utama, sedangkan data sekunder bersumber dari kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, serta berbagai dokumen yang relevan dengan fokus kajian penelitian ini. Keabsahan data diuji melalui penggunaan teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa perencanaan program Merdeka Belajar berbasis literasi di SMP Negeri 2 Pancur Batu dirancang melalui proses musyawarah yang melibatkan berbagai pihak terkait di lingkungan sekolah. Rencana kegiatan pembelajaran meliputi dua ranah utama, yakni pelaksanaan di dalam kelas dan di luar kelas. Perencanaan pembelajaran di dalam kelas mencakup penyusunan langkah-langkah strategis untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang di dalamnya mencakup perumusan tujuan, pemilihan materi ajar, penetapan metode atau strategi pembelajaran yang sesuai, serta penentuan prosedur evaluasi guna menilai hasil belajar peserta didik. Sementara itu, perencanaan kegiatan di luar kelas difokuskan pada pelaksanaan program literasi sekolah melalui aktivitas membaca, menulis, dan belajar bersama yang dilaksanakan secara bertahap melalui proses pembiasaan, pengembangan, dan pembelajaran. Selain itu, kegiatan literasi dalam pembelajaran ini memiliki dua sasaran utama, yaitu tujuan umum dan tujuan khusus. Perencanaan program Pembelajaran Mandiri berbasis literasi dalam mata pelajaran sains di sekolah ini terhambat oleh tiga faktor utama: (1) kurangnya personel yang memahami program literasi secara menyeluruh; (2) kurangnya waktu untuk melaksanakan kegiatan literasi di sekolah; dan (3) kondisi perpustakaan sekolah yang masih terbatas pada koleksi buku teks dan jumlah buku pelengkap yang relatif sedikit.

Abstract

This study examines the development of character education curriculum in Madrasahs with reference to the Merdeka curriculum. The concept of Merdeka curriculum is expected to be able to produce students who are knowledgeable, characterized, civilized, and noble according to the noble ideals of the Indonesian nation. Madrasahs as educational institutions must implement character education in the Merdeka curriculum with the concept of its Pancasila learner profile. The approach used in this research uses qualitative with the literature study method, researchers use several books, journals, and the results of recent observations as references. The findings reveal that the development of character education carried out in learning must be integrated into each subject, self-development, and Madrasah culture. Character values developed in students can be through two attitudes, namely spiritual and social. Spiritual is carrying out the teachings of the religion they adhere to, while social includes honest behavior, discipline, responsibility, courtesy, environmental care and confidence in interacting with the environment. Some stages of learner character development can be passed through 1) knowledge, 2) implementation, and 3) habits.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis mutu instrumen penilaian berupa 54 butir soal pilihan ganda pada materi Lingkup Kerja Akuntansi dan Keuangan Lembaga dengan menggunakan aplikasi Anates. Instrumen dianalisis berdasarkan lima aspek utama, yaitu validitas, reliabilitas, daya pembeda, tingkat kesukaran, dan efektivitas pengecoh. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 20 siswa SMK jurusan Akuntansi dari kelas X, XI, dan XII sebagai responden melalui pengumpulan data berbasis Google Form. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa aspek validitas butir soal berada pada kategori sangat tinggi (17%), tinggi (28%), cukup (37%), rendah (15%), dan sangat rendah (4%). Reliabilitas instrumen memperoleh koefisien sebesar 0,97 yang termasuk kategori sangat tinggi, sehingga menunjukkan konsistensi instrumen yang sangat baik. Pada aspek daya pembeda, sebagian besar butir soal menunjukkan kemampuan diskriminatif yang memuaskan, meskipun beberapa butir soal seperti nomor 12, 15, 18, dan 40 perlu diperbaiki karena nilai diskriminasi yang rendah. Tingkat kesukaran soal didominasi kategori sedang sebesar 53,7%, diikuti kategori mudah (33,3%), sangat mudah (11,1%), dan satu butir sangat sukar (1,9%). Efektivitas pengecoh menunjukkan sebagian besar distraktor berfungsi baik, meskipun beberapa opsi tidak bekerja optimal dan perlu diperbaiki. Secara keseluruhan, hasil penelitian menegaskan bahwa instrumen penilaian yang dianalisis memiliki mutu yang baik dan layak digunakan, namun tetap memerlukan revisi pada butir-butir soal tertentu untuk meningkatkan kualitas evaluasi pembelajaran.
