Abstract

This study developed a multidimensional rubric for assessing argumentative writing in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) context by integrating cognitive, metacognitive, affective, and socio-cultural dimensions. The rubric was designed in response to the limitations of traditional assessment tools that tend to focus on surface-level features, often neglecting essential aspects such as writer stance, planning, audience awareness, and contextual relevance. Employing a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, the study followed several stages: a needs analysis, literature review, initial rubric design, expert validation, and a small-scale implementation with undergraduate EFL students. The trial results demonstrated that the rubric effectively captured variations in writing performance across dimensions and supported a more nuanced understanding of students’ strengths and challenges. Students showed stronger performance in cognitive aspects such as argument structure and reasoning, while affective and socio-cultural awareness remained areas for pedagogical improvement. Feedback from both learners and instructors confirmed the rubric’s clarity, practicality, and potential to guide instruction and formative feedback. The study concludes that the rubric addresses critical gaps in current assessment practices and offers a comprehensive framework for supporting students’ development as reflective and context-aware academic writers. Future research is encouraged to validate the rubric in broader contexts, integrate it into digital platforms, and explore its impact on long-term writing growth.

Abstract

The Health Information System is expected to support health development by producing quality data and information. However, in its implementation there are still obstacles, and the human factor is the most dominant obstacle. The interaction of information systems and humans gives rise to behavioral problems, so it is important to understand the factors that influence the success of SIK implementation from the user's perspective to increase the use of SIK. This research uses a literature review method from several databases. Research findings show that there are several factors that influence the success of SIK implementation, including performance expectations, business expectations, facilitating conditions, self-confidence and anxiety, social influence, information quality, intentions, attitudes, system quality, service quality, user satisfaction, and usage behavior. Understanding the factors that influence the success of Health Information System implementation will minimize the risk of failure, serve as a guide in improving the system, optimize the use of resources, ensure alignment with organizational goals, and encourage effective use of Health Information System.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Scouting extracurricular activities in improving student achievement at MI Kwadungan Lor. The background of this study is the importance of extracurricular activities as a vehicle for character development, social skills, and non-academic achievements of students. Scouting extracurricular activities were chosen because they have strong educational values ​​in forming discipline, responsibility, cooperation, and leadership. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive study type. The subjects of the study consisted of Scout instructors, madrasah principals, and active students in extracurricular activities. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that the implementation of Scouting extracurricular activities at MI Kwadungan Lor was carried out through three main stages, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. Activity planning is carried out through routine meetings and the preparation of annual work programs that consider the capabilities of resources and the needs of students. Implementation of activities includes weekly routine training and intensive training before the competition, with a fun and participatory approach. Evaluation of activities is carried out periodically to assess the effectiveness of the program and as a basis for improvement. The main supporting factors for the success of this activity include the commitment of the instructor, the support of the head of the madrasah, the enthusiasm of the students, and the cooperation of the parents

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Two Stay Two Stray type cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN Tengah 03. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pseudo-experimental design type of nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes, each consisting of 30 students, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data collection was carried out through pretest and posttest in the form of 10 essay questions to measure student learning outcomes in IPAS subjects. Data analysis was carried out through normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing with Independent Sample T-Test. The results of the analysis showed that the average value of the experimental class posttest (84.33) was higher than the control class (58.83). Hypothesis testing showed a significance value of <0.001, which indicates a significant difference between groups. This study concludes that the Two Stay Two Stray model significantly improves learning outcomes, creates an active and collaborative atmosphere, and has a real impact on student academic achievement at SDN Tengah 03. The findings recommend the application of this model by teachers to create fun and effective learning.

Abstract

Based on data obtained through a pre-survey at SDN Baru 06 Jakarta, it is known that most students have difficulty in understanding mathematics material, especially geometry, which has an impact on low learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of using geoboard learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade V students. This research uses quantitative methods with a quasi-experiment design through a nonequivalent control group design approach. The sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class, each of which amounted to 30 students. The instrument used was an essay test of 10 questions, with pretest and posttest as a measuring tool for learning outcomes. Data analysis was carried out by testing normality, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing using Independent Sample T-Test. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the posttest results of the experimental class and the control class, where the average score of the experimental class students was higher (Mean = 79.67) than the control class (Mean = 63.07). The t-test shows a significance value of <0.001, which means that there is a positive effect of using geoboard media on student learning outcomes. In conclusion, learning math using geoboard media can improve the learning outcomes of grade V students, because it provides a more concrete and interesting learning experience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of civic disposition in Pancasila Education to foster love for the homeland among 2nd-grade students at SDN Dukuh 08 Pagi. The urgency of this research lies in the increasing need to strengthen national character and patriotism from an early age, especially in the face of various contemporary challenges that may erode these values. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method, utilizing observations, interviews with school principals, teachers, students, and parents, as well as documentation to collect data. The findings indicate that the school actively implements civic disposition through various learning methods and extracurricular activities, which significantly contribute to enhancing students' love for their homeland and their understanding of Pancasila values. Challenges identified include limited teaching staff and digital literacy. However, the school employs strategies such as varied teaching methods and increased student appreciation to overcome these obstacles. The study concludes that the comprehensive implementation of civic disposition in Pancasila Education effectively promotes patriotism and positive behavioral changes in students.

Abstract

The implementation of the Independent Curriculum is based on the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) with the theme Sustainable Lifestyle in grade IV of Elementary School. This research was carried out with a qualitative approach through case studies. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the planning, implementation, and evaluation of P5 activities in elementary schools. The results of the study showed that P5 activities included making handicrafts from plastic waste, such as pencil holders and flower decorations, as well as planting kale in locations that were previously landfills. This activity aims not only to reduce plastic waste, but also to foster students' character, such as responsibility and concern for the environment.

Abstract

Movie as a cultural medium not only reflects social reality but also shapes the construction of meaning towards mental health issues in society. This study focuses on five selected movies, namely A Beautiful Mind (2001), Silver Linings Playbook (2012), Joker (2019), The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), and Black Swan (2010). Using Stuart Hall's theory of representation and Freud and Lacan's psychoanalytic approach, this research explores how the main characters are portrayed as experiencing schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, PTSD, depression, and psychosis. The method used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The data were obtained through observation of visual text, dialog, and cinematic symbols. The results show that the movies tend to represent mental health disorders in two main patterns: (1) pathologizing individuals through tragic and dark narratives, and (2) romanticizing mental suffering as part of a character's genius or uniqueness. These representations have an ambivalent impact. On the one hand they raise public awareness about mental health but on the other hand they potentially reinforce negative stereotypes. The result of this research is expected to contribute to cultural, literary, and media psychology studies as well as provide a critical foundation for the production of more ethical and accurate movie that relate on mental health.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether the use of pocket norm media can help fourth grade students of Girikerto State Elementary School in improving their Pancasila education learning outcomes. Learning media is one of the important things in a learning process. The existence of learning media can make it easier for teachers to deliver learning materials more interactively to students. Therefore, researchers use pocket norm media to help improve their Pancasila education learning outcomes. It is hoped that with this media, students will be able to improve their learning outcomes in the field of Pancasila education better. The method used in this study is an experiment with a pre-test and posttest design. The pretest is used to see the abilities of students before being given treatment using pocket norm media. While the posttest is used to determine the abilities and learning outcomes of students after being given treatment using pocket norm media. the results obtained in the Paired Sample T-test or t-test showed that the significant value <0.05, then the hypothesis was accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence in the use of norm pocket media on improving the learning outcomes of Pancasila education on norm material for class IV at SD Negeri Girikerto 2. Although the increase is said to be in the moderate category, the existence of norm pocket media is able to provide an increase in it.

Abstract

The development of the Food and Beverage (F&B) industry continues to increase. This increase is an opportunity for various business actors, one of which is Ramen Ramie Kemanggisan. However, consumer purchasing decisions for Ramen Ramie have decreased, allegedly due to the lack of utilization of marketing media. This study tested social media, eWOM, brand image, and purchase interest both simultaneously and partially on consumer purchasing decisions. The sampling technique used a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. The research sample was 100 respondents using the Lemeshow formula. The data analysis technique used was descriptive verification analysis, validity and reliability tests, path analysis, and classical assumption tests. The results of the study showed that both simultaneously and partially there was a positive and significant influence of social media, electronic word of mouth (eWOM), and purchase intention on purchasing decisions. However, brand image did not have a simultaneous and partial effect on purchasing decisions. The implications of this study are to enrich empirical evidence related to the role of purchase intention in mediating social media, electronic word of mouth (eWOM), brand image on purchasing decisions of Ramen Ramie, and can be used as material for improvement for the company.
