Abstract

This research aims to examine corruption crimes committed by political parties. This article discusses (1) corruption crimes committed by political parties as corporations; (2) law enforcement against corporate political parties that commit acts of corruption; and (3) the ideal concept of law enforcement on corporate corruption crimes of political parties from the perspective of prophetic law in Indonesia. The research method used is empirical legal research based on case studies. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observation, field notes, and library research. Data analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis techniques and juridical analysis. The results of the study show that (1) Corruption crimes committed by political parties as corporations can be prosecuted based on four basic justifications. Even though, until now there have been no sanctions against political parties against criminal acts committed by members of political parties even though they actually fulfill the elements of criminal acts of corruption; (2) There are several types of law enforcement against corporate political parties that commit acts of corruption. If you use the provisions in Article 20 of the Corruption Law jo. Amended Corruption Law, the form of sanction against political parties is only a fine with a maximum penalty plus 1/3 (one third). However, if you use the provisions in Article 7 of the TPPU Law, the form of sanctions can be in the form of fines; announcement of the judge's decision; suspension of part or all of political party business activities; revocation of political party operational permits; dissolution and/or banning of political parties; confiscation of political party assets for the state, and/or taking political parties by the state; and (3) The ideal concept of law enforcement for political party corporate corruption crimes from the perspective of prophetic law in Indonesia is based on a comparative study between the United States criminal law system and the Dutch criminal law system regarding the concept of corporate/organizational punishment. In addition, it also promotes prophetic values for the prevention of corruption.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of collaborative management in improving the quality of education in 3T (Disadvantaged, Frontier, and Outermost) areas. 3T areas face various challenges such as limited infrastructure, minimal human resources, and limited access to education. Through a collaborative management approach involving the government, educational institutions, the community, and the private sector, this study found that collaboration between stakeholders can create synergy in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of education programs. The results of the study indicate that a collaborative approach can improve access, quality, and relevance of education in 3T areas, especially through optimizing resources, improving teacher competency, and active community participation. However, the success of implementing collaborative management is largely determined by commitment, effective communication, and ongoing policy support. Therefore, systematic efforts are needed to strengthen institutions and create a collaborative environment that supports improving the quality of education evenly in 3T areas.

Abstract

This research explores the construction of hyperreality in the Formula 1: Drive to Survive documentary series produced by Netflix, focusing on Season 6 released in 2024. Using Jean Baudrillard's theory of hyperreality and Pierre Bourdieu’s concepts of cultural and symbolic capital, the study analyzes how the documentary reconstructs the world of Formula 1 into a dramatized narrative that transcends the original sporting context. Employing a qualitative approach with a text analysis strategy, the research examines the visual and narrative content of each episode to uncover the representations, emphases, and meanings formed through media framing. Findings indicate that the series no longer serves to accurately represent the real dynamics of Formula 1, such as teamwork, technical complexity, and racing strategy. Instead, it constructs an entertainment-driven hyperreality that simplifies the drivers into fictionalized roles of protagonists and antagonists, emphasizing interpersonal drama and emotional spectacle. This hyperreal portrayal aligns with the interests of capitalist media in commodifying sports content for mass consumption. The study highlights the implications of such media constructions on public perception and contributes to the discourse on postmodern media, representation, and cultural production.

Abstract

Land sales and purchase agreements are one of the most common transactions in daily life. An important element in this agreement is the measurement of the land being sold. However, measurement errors in land sale transactions often occur, which can lead to significant legal consequences for the parties involved. Measurement errors can affect the validity of the agreement and the rights and obligations of the parties, such as the seller and the buyer. According to the Civil Code (KUHPerdata), measurement errors in land can lead to the cancellation of the agreement, price reduction, and the obligation to compensate for the loss resulting from the difference in land area. Furthermore, both parties may negotiate or conduct a remeasurement to reach a fair resolution. If an agreement cannot be reached, the agreed party may file a lawsuit in court. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the legal implications of measurement errors in land sale agreements and the legal resolution procedures outlined in the Civil Code.

Abstract

Teacher performance is the main basis for improving the quality of education and service in every education unit, especially in private schools. Therefore, teacher performance must be sustainably enhanced by studying the variables that influence it to determine related policies. This statement is believed to be an absolute truth because teachers are a core component that plays an important role in the implementation of effective education. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of work motivation variables, organizational commitment, personal organization, and quality of work life on teacher performance in the context of private schools in Batam City. This research was conducted at Globe National Plus School, Batam City, using 200 permanent teachers as the sample for this study. To achieve the objectives of this study, quantitative research was applied, with statistical analysis using the Multiple Linear Regression method to analyze research data. The results of this study indicate that the independent variables, namely work motivation, organizational commitment, and person-organization fit, are empirically proven to have no significant effect on teacher performance in the context of private schools in Batam City. However, the variable quality of work life is proven to simultaneously affect teacher performance, work motivation, organizational commitment, person-organization fit, and quality of work life on teacher performance in the context of private schools in Batam City. The results of the study are very useful for the Batam City Education Office to review the policies set, as some independent variables in this study do not affect teacher performance. In addition, the government can also utilize the results of this new study as a policy formulation to optimize the improvement of the quality of teacher work life and improve teacher performance in the future.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM), service quality, and promotion on patient loyalty at Sanus Aesthetic Clinic in Tangerang. Despite the clinic’s strategic location, patient numbers declined by 11% from 2023 to 2024, prompting an investigation into factors affecting loyalty. Using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) on survey data from 100 patients, the study tests three hypotheses. Results indicate that promotion significantly enhances patient loyalty, while eWOM and service quality show no statistically significant impact. The findings suggest that effective promotional strategies—such as discounts, referral programs, and value-added offers—play a crucial role in retaining patients, whereas online reviews and perceived service quality may not be decisive factors for loyalty in this context. These insights provide practical recommendations for aesthetic clinics to prioritize targeted promotions to sustain and grow their patient base.

Abstract

In the context of economic globalization, the Islamic banking sector has demonstrated significant growth. However, a major challenge faced by Islamic banks is the high ratio of Non-Performing Financing (NPF), which can hinder the banks' financial performance. This study aims to investigate whether problematic financing, known as Non-Performing Financing (NPF), affects the financing performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia during the 2014-2023 period. The research adopts a quantitative approach using Time-Series methods and analytical techniques such as Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) to evaluate the relationship between Non-Performing Financing (NPF) and Return on Assets (ROA) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) as indicators of bank performance. The findings of this study reveal a negative relationship between NPF and both ROA and CAR, considering the importance of risk management in maintaining the performance of Islamic banks. This research contributes to understanding the performance dynamics of Islamic banks in Indonesia and their implications for financial system stability.
