Abstract This study aims to measure students' mathematical problem-solving ability using the Item Response Theory (IRT) approach with the Generalized Partial Credit Model (GPCM). The research was carried out in North Bahar District, Muaro Jambi Regency, by involving all grade IX junior high school students in the even semester of the 2024/2025 school year as a sample through total sampling techniques. The test instruments were compiled and analyzed based on five main stages, including testing, scoring, and data processing and analysis using PARSCALE 4.1 software. The results of the analysis showed that the instruments used met the assumption of unidimensionality, which at the same time indicated the fulfillment of the assumption of local independence and parameter invariance. The model fit test produces a value indicating that the GPCM model matches the empirical data. Student ability estimates show a distribution that is close to normal, with most students being at moderate to slightly below average ability levels. The parameters of the question items showed high differentiating power and moderate difficulty, while the test information function showed the effectiveness of the instrument in measuring students' ability at average ability. In conclusion, the GPCM model is effectively used in measuring students' mathematical problem-solving abilities validly, accurately, and thoroughly.

Kangkung (water spinach) cultivation requires a stable environmental condition to ensure optimal growth, especially in terms of temperature and humidity. In Tangerang Regency, the annual average temperature ranges from 24°C to 32°C with humidity between 73% and 93%, which aligns well with kangkung’s ideal growing temperature of 25°C–30°C. This research designs an automated system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) integrated with an aquaponics concept to control temperature, humidity, and water quality in kangkung cultivation. The system employs a waterproof DS18B20 temperature sensor to measure water temperature, a DHT11 sensor for ambient temperature and humidity, and additional pH, TDS/EC, and turbidity sensors to monitor water quality. Water level is detected using an HCSR-04 ultrasonic sensor. All data is transmitted in real-time through an ESP8266-01 module and can be monitored via LabVIEW on a laptop or through a smartphone. The system also includes an automatic water pump, solenoid valve, and a servo-based auto feeder for the fish. Experimental results indicate the system maintains environmental stability with an average temperature reading error of ±0.5°C and humidity error of ±0.776%. This smart monitoring and control system significantly improves efficiency, accuracy, and the overall quality of kangkung cultivation, especially in tropical climates. The integration of IoT in this aquaponic system offers a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution for modern urban agriculture.

This research investigates the influence of leadership's feed-forward control and Occupational Health and Safety (K3) on preventative discipline among employees at PT. Barkah Jaya Mandiri Sukabumi. Quantitative methods with an associative approach were employed to analyze the relationships between variables. The results indicated that while both feed-forward control and K3 independently contribute to preventative discipline, K3 has a more significant impact. Simultaneously, the combination of feed-forward control and K3 creates a safer work environment and reinforces employee adherence to safety standards. This study highlights the importance of integrating proactive leadership with robust safety measures to cultivate a culture of preventative discipline in high-risk industries.

The study of Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) has an important role in shaping the character of students as active and responsible citizens. However, students' interest in this study may vary depending on their course of study and academic background. This study aims to analyze the tendency of students of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia to the theme of PPKn based on the title of the article they choose. The data used came from a collection of student article titles that were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative approaches with text analysis techniques and keyword frequency mapping. The results showed that students from language and culture-based study programs (PBS & PBK) had the highest interest in PPKn, while fine arts students (PSR) had the lowest interest. The implications of these findings show the need for a more contextual and interactive PPKn learning approach to be more relevant for students from various study programs.

The development of this student worksheet was driven by the need for guided discovery-based worksheets in protozoa practicum activities to enhance students’ concept mastery and critical thinking skills. This study aimed to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed worksheet. The research employed the ADDIE model and involved data collection through interviews and questionnaires, followed by both quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The subjects of the study were students and teachers of Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 16 Medan. The results showed that the feasibility test of student work sheet material obtained 87% and media 95% after product revision. For the practicality test, the teacher's response was 97% and students 94%. The effectiveness test shows that N-Gain on the concept mastery variable is 0.7563 (75.63%) and on critical thinking skills is 0.7705 (77.05%) and both are in the high and effective categories. This value shows that student work sheet not only helps understanding the material but also improves concept mastery and critical thinking skills. It can be concluded that the student work sheet developed is very feasible, practical and effective to use in learning.

This study investigates the effectiveness of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in promoting academic success among students with learning disabilities. Drawing from a wide body of literature and evidence-based practices, the research explores how tailored educational plans enhance student engagement, skill development, and achievement. The study evaluates components such as personalized goal-setting, adaptive instructional strategies, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Findings indicate that when effectively implemented, IEPs significantly contribute to academic progress, especially in reading, writing, and mathematics. However, barriers such as lack of teacher training, resource limitations, and poor parental involvement continue to hinder optimal outcomes. The paper concludes with recommendations for policy and practice to improve the implementation of IEPs in inclusive educational settings.

Uncontrolled drug inventory is a significant challenge in health services, especially in remote areas, resulting in high rates of expired drugs and budget waste. The mismatch between drug stock and needs can disrupt the quality of health services provided to the community. This study aims to analyze drug inventory control using the ABC-VEN combination method, which groups drugs based on consumption value and level of medical importance. The methods applied include observation, interviews, documentation, and analysis of drug use data from July to December 2024. The ABC analysis categorizes drugs into three groups based on investment value: A (70%), B (21%), and C (9%). Meanwhile, the VEN analysis classifies drugs as Vital (13%), Essential (59%), and Non-Essential (27%). The results of the ABC-VEN combination show that 17% of drug items are included in the priority group, 46% in the main group, and 38% in the additional group. These findings provide a strong basis for determining priorities in drug procurement and supervision. The conclusion of this study confirms that the ABC-VEN method has proven effective in increasing the efficiency of inventory management, reducing the risk of expired drugs, and supporting more rational decision-making in drug procurement.

The creative economy of the traditional Malay food culinary sector has strategic potential in improving the regional economy and preserving local culture in Pekanbaru City. However, the challenges in developing this sector require the support of targeted innovation policies. This study aims to analyze the effect of the implementation of regional innovation policies on the empowerment of the creative economy of the traditional Malay food culinary sector in Pekanbaru City. The research method uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The population of the study was traditional Malay food culinary entrepreneurs in Pekanbaru City, with a sample of 150 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through structured questionnaires and in-depth interviews. Data analysis used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the help of SmartPLS software. Independent variables include MSME development policies, marketing digitalization programs, production technology assistance, training and certification, and access to microfinance. Dependent variables include increased business turnover, market expansion, product innovation, labor absorption, and business sustainability. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of regional innovation policies has a positive and significant effect on the empowerment of the creative economy of the traditional Malay culinary sector. The marketing digitalization program has the most dominant influence, followed by microfinance access policies and production technology assistance. This research provides a theoretical contribution in the form of a creative economic empowerment model based on local wisdom and practically produces policy recommendations for optimizing regional innovation programs in developing the traditional culinary sector.
