Abstract

Ecosystem is a discussion study in biology material that discusses the relationship between living things and their environment. The ecosystem includes a very large discussion and is divided into two factors, namely biotic factors and abiotic factors. Understanding the ecosystem is very important for all individuals to know, in order to provide a symbiosis of mutualism between each other, because the ecosystem is also a reciprocal relationship between living things and their environment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the understanding of 10th grade students of Mas Alwashliyah regarding the concept of ecosystems. The research method carried out was by distributing a form or questionnaire to 21 students in class X, and analyzed by qualitative methods. The results of the research obtained were the results of students' answers that answered the correct questions on average 94.75%, while the average answer of students who answered incorrectly was 5.25%. And the average of the student score is 94.76%.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, perspektif Imam Muhammad bin Husain Al-Jurri digunakan sebagai dasar untuk menilai bagaimana guru harus mendidik siswa mereka. Al-Jurri menekankan bahwa proses pendidikan tidak hanya berfokus pada pencapaian akademik tetapi juga pada pengembangan moral dan karakter siswa. Pendidikan dianggap sebagai cara untuk menyebarkan nilai-nilai agama, terutama Islam, yang membantu menumbuhkan kesadaran sosial dan spiritual. Penelitian ini menyelidiki nilai-nilai etika yang relevan dalam pengajaran melalui analisis karya Al-Jurri. Ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa guru harus mengikuti prinsip-prinsip etika berikut: niat yang ikhlas, perlakuan yang adil terhadap siswa, dan penggunaan metode pengajaran yang lembut dan penuh penghormatan. Studi ini juga menemukan bahwa peran guru sebagai teladan moral sangat penting untuk membentuk sikap dan tindakan siswa. Penerapan prinsip moral dalam pendidikan menjadi sangat penting mengingat tantangan moral yang dihadapi generasi muda saat ini. Diharapkan penelitian ini akan memberikan kontribusi baru untuk penelitian tentang etika pendidikan Islam serta petunjuk praktis bagi pendidik tentang bagaimana memasukkan nilai-nilai etika ke dalam proses pembelajaran mereka, dengan harapan dapat menciptakan generasi yang tidak hanya cerdas tetapi juga berbudi pekerti luhur.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to desccribe how the implementation of Direct Reading-Thingking (DR-TA) strategy implemented by the teacher in teaching reading comprehension and what challenges the teacher faced in adminitering this strategy in class. The informant in this research was one of the English teachers in class XI of  SMAN 2 Sungai Limau. The data collection methods were observation and interview. Data collection was done through observation checklist and interview with the teacher. Observations were made in class XI MIPA 5 and class XI MIPA 6. Data analysis was done by data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion, the data was presented in descriptive qualitative format. The finding show that the teacher had implemented this strategy in teaching reading comprehension, but there was one step that was skipped by the teacher. The challenges that teachers face in the classroom when implementing the DR-TA strategy are firstly the limited time they have in class, while the time needed for the implementation of this strategy is long. Second, students who are not active and enthused in the learning process. The third is the limited background knowledge of students so that it is difficult to provide predictions.

Abstract

This study examines the importance of moral education for women, based on the teachings of Surah An-Nur, verse 31 in the Qur'an. The study aims to understand how Islamic education emphasizes moral cultivation as a guide for women, particularly in maintaining dignity and ethical conduct. Moral education in Islam focuses not only on personal aspects but also on social responsibility, aiming to develop women’s character with strong faith, piety, and moral integrity. This research employs a library study method with content analysis to explore relevant literature. The findings indicate that teachings on controlling one’s gaze, covering one’s body, and dressing modestly are fundamental in preserving women’s dignity. Moral education serves not only as a behavioral guide but also as a means of building a positive character that adapts to social changes.Overall, moral education for women in Islam is a comprehensive, continuous process. It aims to shape women who not only embody religious values but also contribute positively to society. This study offers insights into how moral education plays an essential role in strengthening the identity of Muslim women and supporting the creation of a more harmonious society.

Abstract

Communication is a crucial aspect of organizational success, including in the educational sector. As the primary means of social interaction, communication facilitates coordination, information management, and the achievement of organizational goals. In educational organizations, communication serves several key functions: informative, regulatory, persuasive, and integrative. These functions enable management and employees to adapt, share information, and perform tasks effectively. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method to explore and analyze the functions of communication in educational organizations. Organizational communication can be categorized into vertical, horizontal, and diagonal communication, each playing a specific role in sustaining organizational activities. In the context of education, communication is vital for cultural transmission, adaptation, and institutional management. Without effective communication, educational organizations cannot achieve their objectives.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how Sumatera Thawalib Islamic Boarding School Parabek students' reading comprehension of descriptive texts was affected by the Engage-Study-Activate (ESA) strategy. The study discovered issues like When the teacher asks the class to share their thoughts in English, the students' first intention is to remain silent. Second, a lack of vocabulary prevents pupils from understanding the material. Thirdly, reading comprehension levels among students are subpar. Finally, when teachers employ traditional techniques like teacher-centered learning strategies, children get less attention. A quantitative methodology using a quasi-experimental design was used in the research, with 29 students in the experimental class (1.5) and 31 students in the control class (1.6). A multiple-choice test was employed as the research instrument to gauge gains in reading comprehension. Data analysis was done with SPSS 26. Results showed that, when compared to conventional approaches, the ESA method considerably increased reading comprehension scores, as shown by a p-value less than 0.05. The conclusion, it was found that the ESA method was a more successful teaching strategy that significantly improved student comprehension and engagement. In conclusion, students’ reading comprehension in Sumatera Thawalib Parabek is significantly improved by the ESA approach as compared to traditional ways.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran wahdatul ulum sebagai pendekatan integratif dalam harmonisasi antara ilmu dan iman, terkhusus dalam konteks islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan dalam bidang pendidikan. Konsep fundamental wahdatul ulum dalam pemikiran Islam ini menekankan pada kesatuan ilmu pengetahuan yang pada dasarnya semua bersumber dari satu hal, yaitu Allah Swt. Masalah utama yang akan dibahas adalah melihat peran wahdatul ulum dalam proses islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan sebagai jawaban atas adanya dikotomi antara ilmu pengetahuan modern dan nilai-nilai keimanan yang sering kali memisahkan keduanya dalam proses pendidikan dan pengembangan ilmu. Sehingga tidak ada lagi pertentangan antara ilmu agama dan ilmu umum, melainkan keduanya saling melengkapi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi literatur, di mana data diperoleh melalui analisis teks keislaman, konsep wahdatul ulum, kajian teoretis tentang islamisasi ilmu pengetahuan dan kajian ilmiah pendukung lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa wahdatul ulum mampu menjadi kerangka konseptual yang menjembatani sains dan nilai-nilai Islam sehingga menghasilkan paradigma ilmu pengetahuan yang tidak hanya memperkuat landasan keilmuan yang sesuai dengan syariat Islam tetapi juga relevan untuk menjawab tantangan global dalam perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan modern.

Abstract

The decision to stay overnight is one of the consumer's actions in choosing or The thesis entitled "The Influence of School Image, Service Quality, and Educational Facilities on Student Satisfaction at Sma Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan" is the result of quantitative research which aims to answer questions about the influence of school image, service quality, and educational facilities on student satisfaction. SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. The research methodology used is quantitative research using a sampling technique using simple probability sampling with a total of 92 respondents. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire processed using SPSS version 25. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression. Based on partial research results, the school image variable has a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction with a calculated t value of 3,558 > t table 1,662 and a significant value of 0.001 < 0.05, service quality has a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction with a calculated t value of 2,443 > t table 1,662 and a significant value of 0.017 < 0.05 and educational facilities have no effect on student satisfaction with a calculated t value of 0.333 < t table 1,662 and a significant value of 0.740 > 0.05 at SMA Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan. And simultaneously it shows that the variables of school image, service quality and educational facilities have a significant and positive effect on student satisfaction with a calculated f value of 38,167 > f table 2.71 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

The decision to stay overnight is one of the consumer's actions in choosing or using accommodation services which is determined from the start with several factors that influence this decision. This research aims to determine and analyze the influence of promotions, discounts and facilities on the decision to stay at the Grand Darussalam Hotel Medan. The method in this research uses quantitative methods. The number of samples in this research was 100 respondents. The data collection technique in this research uses a questionnaire. The sample size was drawn using a simple probability sampling formula. Data management uses SPSS version 25 software. Based on the results of this research, Promotion (X1) has a positive and significant influence on the decision to stay, Discounts (X2) do not have a significant positive influence on the decision to stay and Facilities (X3) have a positive and significant influence on the decision to stay. decision to stay.

Abstract

thesis entitled "The Influence of Education Quality, Education Costs and Location on Student Satisfaction at PAB 8 Sampali Private Vocational School" is the result of quantitative research which aims to answer questions about the influence of education quality, education costs and location on student satisfaction at PAB 8 Sampali Private Vocational School. The research methodology used is quantitative research using a sampling technique using simple probability sampling with a total of 85 respondents. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire processed using SPSS version 25. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression. Based on partial research results, the variable quality of education has a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction with a calculated t value of 3,638 > t table 1,664 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, education costs has no significant effect on student satisfaction with a calculated t value of 0.652 < t table 1,664 and a significant value of 0.516 < 0.05 and location has a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction with a calculated t value of 2,599 > t table 1,664 and a significant value of 0.011 < 0.05 at PAB 8 Sampali Private Vocational School. And simultaneously shows that the variables of education quality, education costs and location have a significant and positive effect on student satisfaction with a calculated f value of 62,852 > f table 2.72 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05.
