Abstract

Non-ASN personnel have an important role in supporting public services at the sub-district level, but often face various challenges related to irregular employment status and limitations in career development. This study aims to analyze the influence of leadership style, motivation, and training on the job satisfaction of non-ASN personnel at the Medan Helvetia Sub-district Office, both partially and simultaneously. The research method used is quantitative research with an associative approach. The research population is all non-ASN personnel at the Medan Helvetia Sub-district Office which totals 144 people. The number of samples was determined using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10% so that a sample of 59 respondents was obtained which was selected using the incidental sampling technique. Data collection is carried out through questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software.  The results of the study show that: (1) Leadership style has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; (2) Motivation has a positive but insignificant effect on job satisfaction; (3) Training has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction; (4) Leadership style, motivation, and training simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. An R² value of 0.929 indicates that all three independent variables are able to explain 92.9% of the variation in job satisfaction, while the remaining 7.1% is explained by other variables outside the research model

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of factoring implementation on working capital at PT. Duo Nadenggan Lestari. Factoring is utilized as an alternative financing method to accelerate cash inflows by converting accounts receivable into immediate funds, thereby supporting the company’s liquidity. This research adopts a quantitative approach using secondary data derived from the company’s financial statements over a specific period. Data analysis is conducted using simple linear regression to determine the influence of factoring implementation as the independent variable on working capital as the dependent variable. The results of the analysis indicate that factoring implementation has a positive and significant effect on working capital. An increase in factoring utilization contributes to improved cash flow, enhanced liquidity, and more efficient working capital management. These findings suggest that factoring can be an effective financial strategy for companies experiencing cash flow constraints and high receivables levels. The study provides practical implications for management in selecting appropriate financing alternatives to strengthen short-term financial performance

Abstract

Protection for children in conflict with the law is a crucial part of Indonesian criminal law, as regulated in the Juvenile Criminal Justice System (SPPA). Children who commit crimes, including theft, cannot be held legally accountable on an equal basis with adults. Therefore, the SPPA prioritizes the implementation of restorative justice through various mechanisms aimed at restoring the relationship between child perpetrators, victims, and the community. This study aims to analyze the criminal law provisions for child theft perpetrators based on the SPPA and examine the obstacles and efforts to enforce the law by law enforcement officials. The research method used is normative juridical by examining relevant regulations and literature. The results show that, normatively, the SPPA provides adequate legal protection for children, such as setting the age of criminal responsibility, humane treatment, and out-of-court settlements. However, in practice, various obstacles remain, including limited understanding among officials, inadequate supporting facilities, weak coordination between institutions, and a repressive public mindset. Improvement efforts are carried out through increasing the capacity of officials, coordination, providing child-friendly facilities, and promoting restorative approaches

Abstract

This study discusses the role of the Asahan Resort Police Samapta Unit in handling minor crimes through the application of a restorative justice approach. As one of the operational functions of the police, the Samapta Unit has the main task of maintaining public security and order, including rapid response to violations and misdemeanors. Through the restorative justice approach, Samapta seeks to resolve cases by prioritizing the restoration of relationships between perpetrators, victims, and the community, as well as minimizing lengthy judicial processes. The results of the discussion show that the role of Samapta includes preventive, responsive, and solutive actions through mediation, peace facilitation, and assistance in the peaceful case settlement process. The application of this approach is considered to be able to increase the effectiveness of case handling, reduce the burden of formal law enforcement, and strengthen public trust in the National Police. However, its success is still influenced by personnel commitment, supporting regulations, and active participation from related parties. This study emphasizes that the optimization of restorative justice by the Samapta Unit can be a strategic alternative in handling minor crimes that are more humane, fast, and just

Abstract

The criminal offense of obstruction of justice, or acts that hinder the judicial process, constitutes a form of crime that can impede law enforcement, particularly in cases of corruption. Although various acts classified as obstruction of justice have been regulated separately in several Indonesian laws and regulations, such as the Criminal Code (KUHP), Law Number 31 of 1999 in conjunction with Law Number 20 of 2001 on the Eradication of Corruption, and Law Number 8 of 1981 on Criminal Procedure, these regulations remain partial and have not provided comprehensive legal certainty. This study aims to analyze the regulation of the criminal offense of obstruction of justice in the context of corruption cases and to examine the urgency of establishing more explicit and integrated regulations in Indonesia. The research method employed is normative juridical research using statutory and conceptual approaches. The results of the analysis indicate that the absence of explicit norms regulating obstruction of justice in corruption cases creates obstacles to law enforcement, particularly against parties who attempt to hinder the investigation, prosecution, and examination of corruption cases. Therefore, legal reform is necessary to clarify provisions concerning obstruction of justice within the Indonesian criminal law system in order to support the effectiveness of corruption eradication efforts and to maintain the integrity of the judicial process.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of tourist attractions, memorable experiences, and visitor engagement on visiting decisions at Orangutan Haven. The research employed a quantitative approach with an associative method, which served to identify the relationship between independent and dependent variables. The study was conducted in 2025. The research population consisted of 531 visitors, of whom 84 were selected as the sample. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents and were then analyzed using SPSS version 24 with multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that, partially, tourist attractions, memorable experiences, and visitor engagement had a positive and significant influence on tourists’ visiting decisions at Orangutan Haven. Simultaneously, tourist attractions, memorable experiences, and visitor engagement also demonstrated a positive and significant influence on visiting decisions, indicating that improvements in these three variables could enhance visitors’ decisions to visit. Among the three variables, visitor engagement was the most dominant factor influencing visiting decisions. A total of 86.1% of the variation in visiting decisions could be explained by tourist attractions, memorable experiences, and visitor engagement, with a very strong relationship indicated by a correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.930
