Employee performance is one of the key elements in achieving organizational goals. Leadership style refers to the way a leader influences employees to voluntarily engage in various joint actions, loyalty refers to employee commitment to the company, while employee retention represents the policies implemented by the company to retain skilled employees so that they remain committed to the organization. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 64 employees of PT Herfinta Farm Plantation. The analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with SPSS Version 24.0. The results of the study indicate that leadership style, loyalty, and employee retention simultaneously have a significant influence on employee performance. Partially, leadership style contributes significantly to improving performance, loyalty also has a positive and significant impact on performance, and similarly, employee retention has a positive and significant influence. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of Dajan Peken Village, Tabanan Regency, during the 2022–2024 period using effectiveness, efficiency, independence, and growth ratios. This study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data obtained from the Village Budget (APBDes) realization report. The results show that the effectiveness ratio is in the effective to very effective category, meaning the village is able to consistently realize its revenue targets. However, the efficiency ratio indicates that expenditure management is not optimal because village expenditure tends to approach or exceed revenue in some years. The independence ratio shows a very low level, so the village is still dependent on government transfer funds. Meanwhile, the revenue growth ratio shows a positive trend from year to year, reflecting an increase in the village's fiscal capacity. Overall, the village's financial performance is quite good in terms of effectiveness and growth, but still needs to be improved in terms of efficiency and fiscal independence

Abstract

This research intends to examine the impact of financial literacy and financial planning on the likelihood of financial fraud among Generation Z in Sintang Regency. The method employed is Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) featuring three primary constructs: financial literacy, financial planning, and risk of financial fraud. The testing results for the outer model indicated that all metrics satisfy the requirements for validity and reliability. The R-square value of 0.946 shows that financial literacy and financial planning account for 94.6% of the variation in the risk of financial fraud. The hypothesis test indicated that financial literacy (? = 0.528; p 0.001) along with financial planning

Abstract

Using work discipline as a mediating variable, this study investigates how competency, training, and leadership style affect employee engagement at Dinas Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman Kota Binjai. PLS-SEM, or partial least squares structural equation modeling, was the quantitative method employed in the study. Non-civil servant (non-ASN) employees who actively participate in the day-to-day activities of the department were among the respondents. According to the study, employee engagement was significantly impacted by competency, training, and leadership style. The relationship between these three distinct elements and employee engagement is strengthened by work discipline, which serves as a mediator. These findings suggest that improving employee engagement can be achieved through effective leadership, relevant training programs, enhanced employee competence, and the reinforcement of work discipline. The practical implication of this study is that organizations should implement integrated managerial strategies to create a productive, disciplined, and highly committed workforce

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the determinants of corn farmers' income in Stabat District, Langkat Regency, using a mixed method approach. Data were collected from August 2025 to February 2026 through questionnaires, interviews, and observations of 195 respondents determined using the Slovin formula. The analysis was conducted using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and multiple linear regression. The CFA results reduced eight variables into three main factors (Physical Resources, Human Resource Quality, and Market Mechanisms) that explained 68.7% of the variation in income. The regression test showed that Selling Price (beta=0.668), Land Area (beta=0.403), and Informal Education (beta=0.329$) had a positive and significant effect on income. Selling price was found to be the most dominant and sensitive factor to farmer welfare. The novelty of this study proves that informal education (extension) has a more strategic role than formal education in increasing income efficiency in the study location. Integratively, the income of corn farmers in Stabat is a unified system influenced by technical aspects of land, individual managerial capacity, and the stability of external market conditions )

Abstract

Debt collection practices by debt collectors in the consumer finance industry often raise legal issues, particularly when carried out through intimidation, threats, or the seizure of collateral without proper legal procedures. This situation causes the civil legal relationship between the debtor and the financing company to develop into a criminal case requiring law enforcement. In police practice, the resolution of such cases is often directed through restorative justice mechanisms as an alternative to criminal cases, as long as they comply with the provisions stipulated in the Republic of Indonesia National Police Regulation Number 8 of 2021. This study aims to analyze the legal aspects of the application of restorative justice in resolving debt collector cases at the police level and examine the position and responsibility of leasing companies regarding the actions of authorized debt collectors. The research method used is normative juridical with a statutory, conceptual, and case-based approach. The results show that restorative justice can only be applied to debt collector cases that are minor in nature, do not cause serious injuries, and the losses can be recovered through an agreement between the parties. Furthermore, the leasing company remains legally responsible for the actions of debt collectors as its extension, both in civil and criminal aspects. Therefore, the implementation of restorative justice must be carried out proportionally and still ensure legal protection for victims

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of professional judgment and whistleblowers on fraud prevention among auditors at the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) of North Sumatra Province. Fraud in the public sector remains a serious problem, impacting low accountability and public trust, making the role of government internal auditors highly strategic. Professional judgment reflects the auditor's ability to use knowledge, experience, and professional judgment in the audit process, while whistleblowers serve as a reporting mechanism that supports early fraud detection and prevention. This study employed a quantitative approach with a survey method, where primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 60 BPKP auditors in North Sumatra Province. The data analysis technique used was Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results showed that professional judgment had a positive and significant effect on fraud prevention. Furthermore, whistleblowers were also shown to have a positive and significant effect on fraud prevention. These findings indicate that improving the quality of auditors' professional judgment and strengthening the whistleblower system and culture can increase the effectiveness of fraud prevention in government. This study is expected to provide theoretical contributions to the development of public sector auditing literature and practical implications for BPKP in formulating policies to improve audit quality and control fraud

Abstract

This study analyzes the management of the Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBDes) in improving transparency and accountability in the use of Village Funds in Sei Rotan Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency for the 2020–2024 period. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation in the form of reports on the realization of the 2020–2024 APBDes and related regulations, with informants determined purposively including village officials and the community. The results of the study indicate that the administrative management of the APBDes has been running according to the stages of planning, implementation, administration, reporting, and accountability as stipulated in Regulation of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 20 of 2018, with relatively consistent budget realization. However, public transparency and community participation are not optimal, marked by limited access to APBDes information and low community involvement in village deliberations. This finding confirms the gap between procedural compliance and public information disclosure. Therefore, strengthening the dissemination of more detailed information and increasing public participation is necessary to strengthen substantive accountability and the application of good governance principles in the management of the Village Budget
