The Implementation of Problem Based Learning Model on Science Problem Solving Ability of Elementary School Students Rahmani, Rahmani; Mahyana, Mahyana

This study aims to describe students' science problem solving abilities after the application of the Problem Based Learning model. The hypothesis formulated in this research is the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve the science problem solving ability of elementary school students. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The type of research used in this study is a quasi-experimental research. The research design used in this study is one group pretest posttest design. The population of this study was all high-class students at SD Negeri 5 Banda Aceh for the 2020/2021 academic year, totaling 170 students. The sampling technique used was random sampling. Based on the results of the lottery, the samples used were students of class IV-B, totaling 16 boys and 10 girls. Data collection techniques in this study used tests in the form of pretest and posttest. Data analysis technique used was N-Gain. Based on the data analysis, the average pretest and posttest values were 35.54 and 73, respectively, with an N-Gain of 0.59 in the "medium" category, indicating that the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning models can improve the science problem solving abilities of elementary school students. Since the pandemic started, online learning has been applied to replace the conventional one. Gadgets then become essential tools and the main information source for learning during this time.This study aims to find out the relationship between gadgets and the effectiveness of learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. It focused onthe readiness of digital infrastructure institutions and the readiness of students in online learning activities during the COVID-19 pandemic. A descriptive qualitative approach was used to describe the roles of gadgets as a learning resource to support effective learning and improve learning outcomes, withliterature review related to the topic. Communication and the masses have a strategic role in responding various problems that exist. In fact, communication and mass can be a form of early education that directly targets the wider community effectively and efficiently. The main discussion in this research is related to the important role of mass communication in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, as a form of prevention and early education to the public. The results of this study are, first, that communication and the masses have a central role in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. Second, that the problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic which has become a global problem have the potential to trigger a new social order or reconstruction, thus it is necessary to have close communication between stakeholders and the community in responding to this problem. The purpose of this research is to find out the obstacles faced by business actors in strengthening the creative economy and determine what strategies are most appropriate in strengthening the creative economy. This type of research is a qualitative research with 15 research informants. Through interactive data analysis with interview techniques and focus group discussions, information related to the object of research was obtained. The results of the study show that there are obstacles faced by business actors, namely the inability to sell products using digital technology due to lack of knowledge and understanding of digital entrepreneurship, limited raw materials, lack of business capital, the role of media in online marketing and promotion has not been maximized, collaboration is not optimal between academics, business, government, community and media. The best strategy that can be applied is a growth strategy through the role of the government which is enthusiastically hold digital entrepreneurship training to improve marketing skills of business actors and sales volume, actively make promotion via digital marketing that can reach a larger number of target audiences, improve product quality, increase motives and product characteristics through innovation and creativity, actively hold exhibitions and marketing events, and conduct optimal collaboration between academics, business, government, communiy and media. Analysis of Factors Affecting Subjective Well-Being of the Couple Adopting a Child in Darul Imarah Sub-District of Aceh Besar Regency in 2021 Junizar, Junizar; Dewi, Rika

For Acehnese, having children is a dream of every family. Therefore, if a couple who has been married for more than two years has not had children, conflicts often occur in the family. Generally, wives are blamed as the main cause of having no children even though that is not necessarily true. Moreover, in Aceh, husbands are often embarrassed to see a doctor since they have fear of knowing the real cause of having no children. This condition has turned out to be a parameter of a person's success in a marriage and even causes conflicts that might result in a divorce. This study aimed to examine various factors that affect the subjective well-being of a married couple adopting a child in Darul Imarah Sub-district of Aceh Besar Regency. A qualitative design was employed in this research. The respondents were a married couple and an informant as a source of triangulation of information. Those respondents were chosen by using a purposive sampling technique. The research data were collected in July 2021 through interviews and observations, and the data analysis was carried out using data reduction, data display, and verification. The results showed that the couple has adopted a child, and they have been happy. They have always understood each other's strengths and weaknesses, actively communicated, supported each other, and made decisions according to mutual needs, so their subjective wellbeing has been stable. Two factors affecting the subjective well-being in this couple were internal factors including their optimism, self-esteem, and religious values, and external factors including wife's health regarding having undergone cyst surgery, the wife's age of 40, and support from a big family. Health crisis management is prioritized on health crisis risk reduction consisting of pre-health crisis stage, health crisis emergency response stage, and post-health crisis stage. Prevention and mitigation efforts at the pre-health crisis stage, in the context of our study, aim to develop an information system for health crisis management. Information system for health crisis, in general, is provided by the Health Agency. In this study, we discussed the system applied by the Health Agency of Aceh Tengah that still uses a manual information system for reporting during disasters. Hence, it causes a delay of the information updates despite the emergency situation. To overcome this problem, we proposed a newly developed health crisis management reporting system in disaster risk reduction. We used a Research and Development approach with Heuristic Review Analysis to assess the performance of the proposed system. The scope of the study was limited to the development of a new reporting system and system test on users. The research subjects were disaster officers and heads of 14 health centers involved in the health crisis reporting in Aceh Tengah. Improvements can be made in the future through trainings and system adjustments supported by institutional policies. Keywords: Health crisis, disasters, website, reporting system.

The Influence of Social and Economic Factors of Entrepreneurs on SMEs in West Java Martiâ€™ah, Siti; Theodora, Berta Dian

The population of entrepreneurs in Indonesia has increased from 1.6% to 3.47%. The number of women who work in the field of entrepreneurship is now 2.4 times more than men although the businesses for women tend to be smaller and grow more slowly than those for men. There are some constraints causing women to be reluctant to practice entrepreneurship, such as limited information, lack of profiles to imitate, limited access to business finance, lack of experience in doing business, and a low level of confidence to start and develop a business. Low level of education and ideological barriers of women related to the household, known as the "triple burden of women", are also among the constraints. The independent variables of this research were social condition variables (X1 ) and economic conditions (X2 ) while the dependent one was the number of Small and Medium Entrepreneurs (SMEs) (Y). The research population was the social and economic conditions and the number of SMEs from 27 districts of West Java. The samples were limited to only the data from 2016 â€“ 2020 (5 years). The data analysis technique used for this research was panel data regression analysis. The results show that social and economic conditions have a positive and significant impact on the number of SMEs in 27 districts in West Java with an R 2 2 score of 99%. This study raises the issue about the employment of indirect speech acts of Indonesian language education students at FKIP Serambi Mekkah University. The purpose of this study was to determine the indirect speech acts of Indonesian language education students FKIP Serambi Mekkah University. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. The data in this study are indirect speech acts of Indonesian language education students, FKIP, Serambi Mekkah University. The subjects in this study were all Indonesian language students. Data collection was carried out by using listening techniques which included tapping techniques, free speaking listening techniques, conversational free listening techniques, recording techniques, and notetaking techniques. The data analysis technique was carried out by means of data reduction, data presentation, interpreting the meaning of the data, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study found that the utterances spoken by Indonesian language education students at FKIP Serambi Mekkah University contained indirect speech acts. In general, the indirect speech acts used by Indonesian students are news sentences which have the intention of commanding the speech partner to do something, then requesting sentences and news sentences that function to ask the speech partner to give something. Speakers use indirect speech acts when interacting so that the speech conveyed seems more polite and not pushy. Keywords : Pragmatics, Indirect Speech Act, Student Speech

The general objective of Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) is a program that can increase accessibility to education, health, and social welfare services in supporting the achievement of the quality of life of poor families so that they become more feasible. The PKH is a poverty alleviation program and a social protection system for the poor that aims to support the achievement of development goals, with the support of beneficiaries which has become the goal of the PKH participants. The implementation of the PKH in Aceh Besar Regency is a condition that shows the activities of implementing cash assistance for the poor. So that, what determined beforehand was achieved. PKH is also expected to reduce the burden of spending on poor families in the short term and can also break the poverty chain in the long term in an area. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results, in general, the implementation of the PKH has been going very well. It can be seen from the condition of the recipients of PKH assistance, they used it to help with the social conditions and education of children, help with health and nutrition costs for pregnant women, postpartum mothers, and children under 6 years old from poor households, and make PKH participants aware of the importance of these services. In developing the disaster victim evacuation (DVE) model, we started with exploratory study is needed to identify the related variables. The exploratory studies are in the form of qualitative and quantitative research. In this qualitative study conducted agent-based in the nursing perspective. To conduct this research, guidelines are needed that are in accordance with the actual situation, such as the global COVID-19 pandemic. Although many articles have been published regarding in-depth interview (II) and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) guidelines, all of them have to be readjusted according to the situation. This adjustment is important to do minimize problems that arise in the data collection process, such as the emergence of new clusters during pandemic of the Covid 19. This study aims to provide a detailed standard in the implementation of the data collection process using the II & FGD method for the DVE Model development and in accordance with pandemic conditions.This literature review study begins with article search and identification of scientific articles. Before the scientific articles are synthesized, a variable identification process is carried out through 2 stages, namely identification to sort articles according to variables and article selection for research main reference needs and references for discussion.. The results of this study are in the form of qualitative research guidelines presented in the form of standard data collection methods using II & FGD. In this article, we recommend aligning the II & FGD guidelines with the development of information technology in exploring Agent-based information.
