Jurnal Teknologi dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (TEKIBA) urnal Teknologi dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (TEKIBA) adalah jurnal ilmiah multidisiplin yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Teknik Universitas PGRI Banyuangi dengan nomor registrasi ISSN 2776-947X. Jurnal ini berkaitan dengan informasi tentang gagasan, implementasi serta pencapaian dari kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Publikasi jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan pemikiran atau gagasan konseptual dan hasil penelitian yang telah dicapai di bidang pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Abstract

Existing learning and administrative conditions at the Nurul Yaqin Islamic Boarding School in Jember are currently still entirely conventional, with low levels of digital literacy among teachers and students. Based on these issues faced by our partners, this community service program aims to accelerate the digital transformation of Islamic boarding school education through the implementation of an e-learning system based on the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework. The activity involved four key stages: needs assessment, training on digital tools (Google Classroom, Canva, Google Forms), implementation, and mentoring. The results showed that teachers’ digital competence increased from 20% to 100%, and students’ participation in e-learning activities rose from 40% to 90%. Moreover, the digital administration system, including QR code-based attendance and digital archiving, reduced administrative time by approximately 50%. This program contributes to the development of technology-integrated pedagogy in Islamic education, the strengathening of teachers’ digital competence and instructional innovation, and the promotion of sustainable digital transformation in pesantren-based education systems.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adopt more effective and integrated business management systems, particularly in financial and human resource management. Kafe Kopi Kampus Antirogo is one MSME that has seen an increase in the number of visitors since its establishment in 2022, but still faces problems in financial recording and employee attendance, which are done manually and are not yet integrated. This community service activity aims to improve business management effectiveness through training and the implementation of an integrated financial technology application. The methods used include initial discussions with partners, Focus Group Discussions (FGD) to identify needs, application development, system usage training, as well as mentoring and evaluation. The developed application allows business owners to access financial reports in real-time and monitor business operations directly, as well as providing a digital attendance system for employees. The evaluation results show measurable improvements, with financial recording accuracy increasing from 60% to 90% after implementation. Transaction recording time was reduced by about 40%, and attendance reporting errors decreased by almost 50%. The implementation of financial technology has proven to improve operational efficiency, transparency, and the quality of data-driven decision-making at Antirogo Campus Coffee Shop.

Abstract

This community service initiative aims to enhance the capacity of BUMDes Sumberdem Gemilang in digital marketing and financial management. The main challenges faced by the partner include the suboptimal use of social media for product promotion and the lack of a structured financial record-keeping system. The program was implemented over three months, involving two managers and benefiting 8 BUMDes members through four phases: orientation, identification, implementation, and evaluation. The implementation phase included training and mentoring on social media management, digital content creation, and Excel-based financial record-keeping. Evaluation was conducted through observation and a comparison of the partner’s performance before and after the program. The results showed an improvement in social media performance, reflected in the number of followers, interactions, and content views. However, the implementation of the financial record-keeping template was not yet fully optimized due to human resource constraints and participants’ lack of understanding regarding digital financial administration. Therefore, ongoing support and further training are needed to strengthen the sustainability of financial management practices and expand the marketing reach of BUMDes products.

Abstract

Mastery of machine design based on Computer-Aided Design (CAD) is an essential competency for Vocational High School (SMK) students to meet the demands of the manufacturing and engineering industries, particularly in Gresik Regency. However, limited access to 3D design software training and low proficiency in mechanical component modeling still create a competency gap between graduates and industry needs. This community service program aimed to improve students’ competencies in machine design through structured Autodesk Inventor training. The program involved 8 students from SMKN 1 Duduksampeyan and SMK Manbaul Ulum and was conducted over three training sessions. The implementation method consisted of preparation, training, mentoring, and evaluation stages. The learning process included digital technical drawing concepts, Autodesk Inventor interface introduction, 3D component modeling, assembly, and technical drawing creation through demonstrations, independent practice, and intensive mentoring. Program effectiveness was measured using pre-test and post-test assessments. The average pre-test score increased from 25.0 to 80.0 in the post-test, indicating a competency improvement of 220%. The results show significant improvement in students’ technical abilities in CAD-based mechanical design and strengthened collaboration between higher education institutions and vocational schools in supporting vocational education quality improvement.

Abstract

Indonesia Gold 2045 requires higher education institutions to strengthen academic human resources who are adaptive, innovative, and globally competitive. However, lecturers and education personnel still need practical understanding of competency development, learning innovation, and cross-sector collaboration strategies. This community service program aimed to strengthen participants' literacy on competitive human resource development through a national digital seminar. The activity was conducted online via Zoom on 12 April 2025 using a participatory approach consisting of preparation, educational material delivery, interactive discussion, monitoring, evaluation, and follow-up publication. The participants were 93 lecturers and education personnel from higher education institutions in Indonesia. Evaluation was conducted using a Likert-scale questionnaire through Google Forms and analysed descriptively. The results showed that the activity was well received: 66.3% of participants were lecturers and 33.7% were education personnel; the average scores for material benefit, material relevance, and media suitability were 3.71; the knowledge and applicable skill improvement score reached 3.85; and the speaker's delivery score also reached 3.85 on a 1-4 scale. The findings indicate that digital community service seminars can improve practical awareness, academic networking, and readiness to develop competitive human resources. The program output includes a data-based evaluation report, documentation of implementation, and recommendations for regular follow-up activities, including deeper discussion of Artificial Intelligence for human resource development.

Abstract

Public understanding of generic and patented drugs is often influenced by misconceptions, particularly the belief that generic drugs are inferior in quality compared to branded drugs. This situation highlights the importance of improving health literacy among adolescents so they can develop accurate knowledge about rational drug use. This community service activity aimed to improve adolescents’ knowledge about generic and patented drugs through multimedia-based interactive education using digital education media and interactive learning tools. The program was conducted at SMAU BPPT Zainul Hasan involving 21 students as participants. The implementation included preparation, educational intervention, and evaluation stages using pre-test and post-test questionnaires consisting of ten questions related to the basic concepts of generic and patented drugs. During the activity, the students demonstrated high enthusiasm, reflected in their active participation during discussions and question-and-answer sessions. The evaluation results indicated an improvement in students’ knowledge after the educational activity. The proportion of students categorized as having good knowledge increased from 66.7% in the pre-test to 81.0% in the post-test, indicating an increase of 14.3%. These findings suggest that multimedia-based interactive education can effectively improve adolescents’ understanding of generic and patented drugs. The activity also contributed to improving student’s health literacy and correcting misconceptions regarding the quality and safety of generic medicines. School-based digital health education programs can therefore serve as an important strategy to enhance adolescents’ health literacy related to rational drug use.

Abstract

This community service activity was aimed at 58 members of the Programme Keluarga Harapan in Kasihan District, Bantul, by providing a technical guidance workshop to maximize the use of social media as a marketing medium. The Programme Keluarga Harapan (PKH) members in Kasihan District, Bantul, Yogyakarta, already had micro-enterprises as an effort to support their family economy. However, the income generated from these businesses was still insufficient to meet their living needs, and their product marketing had not yet been able to reach a wider market. The activity began with an initial observation, followed by the implementation of the workshop, and then an evaluation conducted by distributing questionnaires to determine the comparison before and after the workshop. All 10 assessed aspects showed improvement, namely business condition at 77.59%, income at 55.17%, market reach at 79.31%, smartphone utilization at 84.48%, knowledge of social media at 87.93%, operational skills at 84.48%, communication with consumers at 82.76%, promotional strategies at 79.31%, self-confidence at 82.76%, and business development opportunities at 81.03%. The aspect of social media operational skills showed the highest improvement, reaching 62.07%. This indicates that participants felt the greatest impact of the workshop in this aspect. Therefore, the workshop successfully improved the participants’ capacity in digital marketing in terms of knowledge, skills, and mental readiness to use social media as a marketing tool.

Abstract

Tienz Nganjuk MSMEs face the challenge of managing distribution due to the absence of a stock and sales recording system, both manually and digitally. This condition causes owners to be unable to monitor stock in real-time, dificully identifyinh best-selling products, and unable to make data-driven decisions. This community service activity aims to implement a simple digital distribution recording system based on Google Sheets for Tienz MSMEs. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) method was applied through eight stages: observation, needs analysis, system design, development, socialization, training, mentoring, and evaluation. The developed system consists of three integrated modules: warehouse stock recording, sales orders, and sales reports. Implementation results show significant improvements: stock data is available in real-time through a dashboard, per-product sales reports are generated automatically, monthly recap time has been reduced to under 30 minutes, and data loss risk has decreased from high to low owing to cloud-based storage. User satisfaction reached a score of 4.2 out of 5. This activity demonstrates that SMEs with limited digital literacy are capable of effectively adopting digital recording technology, provided the platform is selected in accordance with users' capabilities and training is conducted in a practical and participatory manner.

Abstract

Pasar ABC Samarinda, one of the largest traditional markets in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan, faces significant challenges in goods distribution system efficiency. This community service activity conducted a simple distribution audit through direct observation, bottleneck analysis, and formulation of improvement recommendations involving 45 respondents (market managers and traders) over 8 field observation days in March 2026. The audit identified three primary bottleneck points the north entrance gate with an average waiting time of 23.4 minutes caused by peak-hour demand (41 vehicles/hour) far exceeding actual capacity (19 vehicles/hour), Loading and Unloading Area A operating at only 50% efficiency due to disorganized layout and absence of standard procedures and internal junction J-7 causing average delays of 8.7 minutes per delivery to zones C and D. Goods flow analysis mapped 12 active internal distribution channels, of which 4 were classified as critical paths carrying over 60% of total goods volume. Micro-transportation analysis identified 6 modes with approximately 255 operating units, revealing a severe inefficiency ratio of 2.8 in zone D, nearly three times the acceptable threshold of 1.5. Key outputs include a Goods Flow Map (MFM-PPS-001), a time-slot-based distribution scheduling system (5 slots projected to reduce waiting time by 62–71%), commodity-based distribution zoning (4 zones plus 1 buffer zone), physical infrastructure improvement recommendations, and a Distribution Standard Operating Procedure comprising 6 main procedures. Implementation of these recommendations is projected to reduce loading and unloading time by 35–42% and significantly improve overall distribution efficiency. The simple distribution audit methodology developed is replicable across other traditional markets in East Kalimantan.

Abstract

Fishing boats are an important means of supporting fishing activities, so they require strong, lightweight, and efficient materials or manufacturing methods. This activity aims to analyze the application of fiberglass matt and roving materials in the fishing boat manufacturing process and the effectiveness of manual boat mold manufacturing. The method used in this activity involved making manual molds from wood and Duraroc plywood, a lamination process using resin, fiberglass matt, and roving, as well as boat body construction and finishing. The results of the study show that the fiberglass molds produced are precise, stable, and can be used repeatedly, enabling the mass production of fishing boats with uniform quality. The combination of fiberglass matt and roving produces a strong, lightweight boat structure with even lamination thickness. Trials in the water show that the boats have good buoyancy, stability, and watertightness.
