Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in developing students’ speaking skills in the Arabic Language Education Program at Langsa State Islamic University. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving lecturers and students as data sources through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that PjBL effectively enhances students’ ability to prepare and deliver Arabic speeches confidently and competently. Students actively engage in planning, executing, and evaluating speech projects, thereby simultaneously developing their language proficiency, critical thinking, creativity, and interpersonal skills. PjBL provides an authentic and contextual learning experience, integrating theory and practice harmoniously. The primary challenge observed is students’ anxiety in public speaking, which can be mitigated through guidance and self-reflection. This study underscores the importance of employing student-centered learning models to achieve superior communication competencies.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pemanfaatan LKS sebagai salah satu media yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di MAS Al-washliyah Stabat, dan dampak dari penggunaan LKS terhadap kemampuan siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Deskriptif Kualitatif dengan menggunakan instrument penelitian berupa wawancara, angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerepan penggunaan LKS di MAS Al washliyah Stabat belum maksimal dan pengaruhnya dalam peningkatan kemampuan siswa masih rendah. Kata Kunci : LKS, Bahasa Arab, Media Pembelajaran Abstract This study aims to identify the use of Student Worksheets (LKS) as one of the media utilized in Arabic language learning at MAS Al-Washliyah Stabat, as well as the impact of using LKS on students’ abilities. The method used in this research is Descriptive Qualitative, employing research instruments such as interviews, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of LKS at MAS Al-Washliyah Stabat has not been optimal, and its effect on improving students’ abilities remains low. Abstract

Arabic language education plays a vital role in preserving cultural heritage and enhancing cross-cultural communication, yet challenges remain in designing effective teaching methods that align with modern advancements. Purpose: This study aims to understand the essence of Arabic language learning and formulate effective, innovative, and adaptive teaching strategies suited to contemporary educational needs. Methodologies: The methodology employs a literature review and comparative analysis of Arabic teaching literature combined with a study of current technological and pedagogical approaches that improve learning quality. Principal Results: The study reveals that successful Arabic education relies heavily on integrating cultural elements into the curriculum, utilizing technology to create interactive learning environments, and continuous teacher training. Ongoing assessment plays a crucial role in adapting teaching strategies to consistently enhance education quality. Major Conclusions: The integration of cultural aspects, educational technology, teacher development, and continuous evaluation are key to effective and adaptive Arabic teaching strategies. Contributions to the Field: This research contributes a comprehensive Arabic language learning model that blends theory and practice, serving as a guide for future curriculum development and instructional strategies. Furthermore, it encourages the adoption of more dynamic and responsive approaches to meet student needs and technological advances in education.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges and strategies of Arabic language teachers in addressing student plagiarism in the era of Large Language Models (LLMs) from a constructivist learning perspective. The research is motivated by the increasing use of artificial intelligence tools that provide instant answers, which potentially reduce students’ critical thinking and original learning processes. The objective of this study is to describe forms of student plagiarism, patterns of LLM utilization in Arabic learning, and effective teacher strategies to maintain academic integrity. The research subjects were documents and scientific articles related to AI use in education, selected through purposive sampling. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach using a library research method. The research instruments consisted of document analysis sheets. Data were collected through literature review and documentation, and analyzed using content analysis techniques involving coding, categorization, and thematic interpretation. The findings indicate that while LLMs contribute positively to vocabulary enrichment, translation practice, and adaptive learning, they also increase the risk of plagiarism due to students’ dependency on instant outputs. Teachers face challenges in students’ digital literacy and ethical awareness. Effective strategies include process-based assessment, reflective tasks, portfolio-based evaluation, and strengthening AI literacy. In conclusion, LLM integration in Arabic learning requires pedagogical adaptation and clear ethical guidelines so that technology functions as a learning aid rather than a substitute for students’ intellectual work.

Abstract

Permasalahan siswa dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab khususnya dalam pengajaran membaca adalah mereka mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca dan memahami teks bahasa Arab, serta merasa bosan dan malas setiap kali mempelajari bahasa Arab karena guru menggunakan model pembelajaran tradisional. Guru hendaknya menggunakan model pengajaran yang lebih tepat dan menarik dalam pembelajaran membaca. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mengkaji implemetasi permainan teka teki silang dan pentingnya permainan ini dalam mengatasi masalah siswa dalam membaca. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi permainan teka teki silang dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa di MTsS Harapan Bangsa dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan permainan teka teki silang dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa di MTsS Harapan Bangsa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan, dan peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di MTsS Harapan Bangsa yang berjumlah 158 siswa, dan sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII (A) yang berjumlah 38 siswa. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, tes, dan dokumen. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa implementasi permainan teka teki silang efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa dengan nilai hasil t-statistik sebesar 2,431 lebih besar dari hasil nilai t-tabel 1,687.
