Abstract

This study aims to investigate the contribution of the implementation of tri dharma of UIN Alauddin Makassar in the context of strengthening the MSMEs sector during the Covid-19 pandemic. The data analysis technique employed was a qualitative method using an analytical instrument of Likert scale, categorization with three criteria, tracing and analyzing documents of the implementation of researches and services carried out by UIN Alauddin Makassar. In this study, the sample was MSMEs in collaboration with UIN Alauddin Makassar. The research findings indicated that MSMEs were facing a decline in revenue and required support to adapt to the pandemic situations. Meanwhile, the form of empowering MSMEs through implementing research results and community services carried out by the academic communities of UIN Alauddin Makassar was still very few or in the adequate category. The implementation of tri dharma ended with the preparation of outputs, but the outcomes were still few. The implementation of the tri dharma of higher education, namely education, research, and community service, must develop MSMEs and be directed to be more responsive to the needs of contemporary society

Abstract

Literacy Numeracy is currently one of the topics in learning mathematics. A person is said to have Numerical Literacy Ability to count, distinguish and process various data symbols, and perform basic mathematical operations to fix the problem. However, the problem that is always faced by students today is the lack of understanding of the basic concepts of mathematics, one of which is integer arithmetic operations, so it won't be easy to understand more abstract mathematical concepts. The low numeracy literacy ability is due to the learning process not applying the suitable model or media. Therefore, it is necessary to have appropriate learning media so that students understand concepts well and can improve Numerical Literacy skills. One of the proper media or teaching aids for learning integer arithmetic operations is Koin Muatan, made with paper as a base material that symbolizes positive and negative charges. The type of research used was experimental research, a one-group pretest-posttest design pre-experimental design on 21 SD GMIT 4 Kefamenanu students. Data collection techniques were observation, tests and documentation. At the same time, the data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, inferential analysis and N-Gain analysis. The t-test results are used to test the average value before and after being given treatment and whether there is a significant effect. Based on the results of the tests performed, the average pretest and posttest values were 43.51 and 70.79. An N-Gain test was carried out to determine the large increase in numeracy literacy skills so that an N-Gain value of 0.45 was included in the moderate category. This result proves an increase in numeracy literacy skills after students are given the learning treatment using the Koin Muatan teaching aids at SD GMIT 4 Kefamenanu.

Abstract

On teaching advertisement text, the teacher found the opportunity to make students enthusiastic to learn advertisement text, namely by integrating it to Pancasila students’ profile strengthening project with the theme of entrepreneurship. This integrated educational approach is put into practice by pre-service English teacher of Teacher Professional Education program at Public Senior High School 14 Semarang on teaching advertisement text. The implementation of CRT optimized the theories of Gay (2018) and the strategy from Irizarry(2015). The researchers focused to map the local wisdom culture especially the traditional food of Central Java province, Indonesia. The aim of this study was to use the CRT approach to teach advertisement text by doing the collaboration with P5 project. In light of this, the qualitative descriptive technique was chosen for the research design. The populations of this study were 10th grade students of Public Senior High School 14 Semarang. The samples used in this study were 10th grade students of Public Senior High School 14 Semarang at X-9 class. The results of this research mentioned five stages namely preparing and conditioning the class, explaining the local food branding, presenting the draft of local food advertisement target, monitoring the progress, and performing the outcomes. This research also revealed that the integration of CRT in English subjects, especially advertisement text with Pancasila students’ profile strengthening project successfully encourage the cultural sensitivity, especially traditional food. The teacher favorably acts as a facilitator who knows and assesses the mapping of the students’ original culture.

Abstract

This article discussed the Aisyiyah group and the women's movement in West Sumatra from 1968 to 2016. Byutilizing a historical method that includes historiography, source critique, interpretation, and heuristic stages. According to the study's findings, the Aisyiyah Organization was initially founded in Yogyakarta and formed its Batang River branch. Prior to 1968, this Organization's branches and branches quickly expanded in a number of West Sumatra locales, including Padang Panjang, Bukittinggi, Simabur, Payakumbuh, and Pesisir Selatan. After 1968 the Aisyiyah organization was spread across 18 regencies and cities in West Sumatra. The Aisyiyah Organization movement is no longer in the form of resistance as in the previous colonial era, but in the form of awareness to catch up with women in the field of charity and business such as in the fields of education, health, social welfare and the economy. Aisyiyah's charitable business movement includes a number of initiatives, such as sending as many young children as possible to ABA Kindergartens and establishing a Teacher Education School (SPG) to support educated teachers, expanding Aisyiyah Islamic clinics as places for women to seek treatment and supporting Schools Health Nurses as educated midwives, and empowering girls to enroll in Aisyiyah.
