The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using infographic visualization media based on CorelDRAW on improving students' understanding in the subject of Graphic Design class X RPL at SMK Pertiwi Kuningan. The research method used was a quantitative method with a pre-test - post-test control design. The population of the study consisted of students of class X RPL. The sample used in this study was students of class X RPL 3 with a total of 36 students, and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, test techniques, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique in this study was normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing (T-Test). The results of the study showed an increase in students' understanding after using infographic visualization media based on CorelDRAW. Based on the calculation of hypothesis testing (t-test), it was known that the average post-test score was 85.00, while the pre-test score was 70.00, so it was known that the post-test score was higher than the pre-test score. It was also known that the t-count value was 1.906, and the t-table value was 1.688. Therefore, it can be concluded that t-count > t-table (1.906 > 1.688) and the significance value was less than 0.05 (p = 0.000 < 0.05), so it can be stated that there was a significant difference in the increase in learning outcomes between the pre-test and post-test scores. Thus, it can be concluded that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted.

This study aims to describe the role of the school environment in increasing students' motivation for independent learning in the lower grades of SDN 2 Babakanrema. Teachers and homeroom teachers are considered to have an important role as role models in helping students develop independence, given that school is a “second home” for students. This study uses a case study method with a qualitative approach. The research subjects are lower grade students at SDN 2 Babakanrema. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques. The results of the study indicate that school environmental facilities play a positive role in increasing student motivation for independence. Discussions with homeroom teachers reveal that there is an annual increase in student independence, both among existing and new students. In addition, observations show that a clean and well-organized physical school environment creates a comfortable learning environment, thereby contributing to an increase in student motivation for independence. These findings emphasize the importance of consistency in maintaining and improving the quality of the learning environment.

The background of this study is the low interest and learning outcomes of students in understanding abstract Mathematics concepts. This study aims to determine the effect of using audiovisual media on student learning outcomes in Mathematics. The research method used was a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study were fifth-grade students at Cipari Public Elementary School, with a purposively selected sample. The data collection instrument was a learning achievement test administered before (pre-test) and after (post-test) the treatment. The results of the data analysis showed a significant improvement in the learning outcomes of students who used audiovisual media compared to students who studied without such media. Audiovisual media has been shown to help students better understand the material through the presentation of interesting and interactive information. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of audiovisual media has a positive effect on improving students' Mathematics learning outcomes.

This study was motivated by the low level of underhand passing skills in volleyball among fifth-grade students at Karangsari Public Elementary School. Many students still make technical errors, resulting in their skills falling below the minimum passing criteria (KKM). This study aims to determine the effect of a play-based learning approach on students' underhand passing skills in volleyball. The research method used was an experiment with a quantitative approach. The research subjects consisted of 21 students. The data collection technique used a passing skill test administered before (pre-test) and after (post-test) the application of learning through play in Physical Education, Sports, and Health lessons. The research instrument was a passing skill test. Data analysis was performed through normality and homogeneity tests, followed by a t-test. The results show that the t-value of 12.429 is greater than the t-table value of 2.09 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. This proves that there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. The average pretest score of students was 12.05, increasing to 19.80 on the posttest, with an average difference of 7.75 or an increase of 38.75%. Thus, it can be concluded that the play-based learning approach has a positive and significant effect on the underhand passing skills of fifth-grade students at Karangsari Public Elementary School.

This research aims to develop digital-based audio-visual learning media using Capcut on fiction material for grade VII at SMP Negeri 1 Bawolato. The method used in this research is research and development (Research & Development) using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. Based on the research results obtained, the developed learning media received a material expert validation result of 94.7%, language expert validation of 92%, and design expert validation of 95%. These percentages indicate that the digital-based audio-visual learning media using Capcut that was developed meets the feasibility criteria from the aspects of content, language, and design appearance. The practicality of the learning media was tested in two stages, namely a small group test (92.3%) and a field trial (88.2%).The effectiveness of learning media is measured by the completeness of student learning after using digital-based audio-visual learning media using Capcut. The results show a completeness rate of 100% in the small group trial, and 93.3% in the field trial. This proves that the digital-based audio-visual learning media using Capcut is effective, practical, and efficient for use in the learning process.

This study aims to improve the news writing skills of seventh grade students at UPTD SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Alo'oa through the application of the Jigsaw learning model. The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation of student activities, observation of teaching and learning activities by teachers, and news writing tests. Data were analyzed descriptively, qualitatively, and quantitatively by comparing the results of each cycle. The results of the study showed an increase in learning activities and news writing skills. The average score for news writing in cycle I was 52.89 (sufficient category), while in cycle II it increased to 81.39 (good category). Thus, the use of the Jigsaw learning model is effective in improving students' news writing skills.

The purpose of this study is to determine the extent of understanding students in the application of teaching aids to overcome mathematical misconceptions in material on the construction of grade VII students of Karuni Christian Middle School. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR). The subjects in this research are the class VII and the object of this research is the application of teaching aids to overcome Mathematical misconceptions in the material on shapes of grade VII students of Karuni Christian Middle School. The data collection technique is using tests, in the form of (post-test and pre-test) observation sheet. Data analysis techniques are carried out at the learning completion stage individual and classical. The results of the study can be concluded from both cycles of learning outcomes in using teaching aids for each student in working on test questions have different understandings. This can be seen from the results of the first cycle test of participants students have not been able to solve the given mathematics problems and in the cycle II students can solve the problems they encounter and are able to overcome them misconception.

This study aims to enhance learning motivation through the application of gamification methods using Kahoot. The research employed a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of class VIII A as the experimental group (25 students) and class VIII B as the control group (25 students). Data were collected using a learning motivation questionnaire with 15 statements administered during both the pretest and posttest. The data was analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. The results showed an increase in learning motivation between the experimental and control groups. The average posttest score of the experimental class was 61.52, while the control class scored 46.04. The Independent Samples t-test produced a value of t = 10.101 > ttable = 2.064 with a significance level of p = 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. The Paired Samples Test also showed a significant difference (t = -11.222; p = 0.000) in the improvement of motivation scores between the control and experimental classes. Therefore, the null hypothesis (H₀) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Hₐ) is accepted. The application of gamification using Kahoot has been proven effective in improving students’ learning motivation in Informatics subjects.

Thematic learning in elementary schools often faces challenges such as monotony, lack of media variation, and low student motivation. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using pop-up book devices in theme-based learning and the impact of pop-up book devices on student achievement or learning outcomes in theme-based learning. The technique used in this study is Systematic Literature Review. In the search, a total of 4,700 scientific papers were found from 2015 to 2025, which were progressively and systematically selected down to 15 relevant scientific papers concerning the use of pop-up book learning media in theme-based learning and its influence on motivation and learning outcomes. The results and findings in the scientific paper indicate that the pop-up book device is proven to be effective in the thematic learning process at the elementary school level due to its attractive, interactive, and contextual nature. It encourages students' learning motivation both intrinsically and extrinsically, marked by increased active participation, curiosity, and student involvement in learning. The improvement in students' learning achievements after utilizing the pop-up book device includes cognitive aspects (understanding of the material), affective aspects (positive attitudes towards learning), and psychomotor aspects (creative and collaborative skills).
