Abstract

After the fall of the Abbasid dynasty, Islamic political power gradually began to lag behind. Some colonies sought their own independence in the form of small kingdoms. This condition certainly worsened the political power of Islam. This situation improved after the emergence of three great empires, namely the Ottoman empire in Turkey, the Mongol empire in India, and the Safavid kingdom in Persia. In historical records the Ottoman Empire is the first kingdom that has survived the longest, compared to two other major empires, namely the Mongol kingdom in India, and the Safavid kingdom in Persia, established in 1282-1929 AD. This kingdom came from the descendants of Uthman Ibn Sauji Ibn Arthogol Ibn Sulayman Shah Ibn Kia Alp. The establishment of this kingdom was on the initiative of the Turks from the Oghuz tribe, a Nomanic tribe in Asia Minor who inhabited the Mongol region and the northern area of China. Many advances made by the Ottoman Empire, both in the fields of culture, politics, military, and governance.

This study is a qualitative research investigation conducted using library research. The method used is the thematic method (maudu''i). The data sources consist of primary and secondary data. Primary data includes verses from the Quran and their interpretations, while secondary data consists of relevant journals, books, and articles related to the research topic. The data collection technique involves gathering literature data. The next data analysis technique used is the method of Content Analysis. The objective of Islamic Education management is to effectively and efficiently utilize and manage Islamic educational resources in order to achieve the goals, development, progress, and quality of the process and outcomes of Islamic education. Also, to produce individuals with knowledge, skills, and expertise. Ada dua surah Al-Quran yang menguraikan tujuan manajemen pendidikan menurut para ahli teori manajemen pendidikan dan para mufassir, yaitu Surah Saba (ayat 10-11) dan Surah An-Nahl (ayat 15).

Abstract

Three Islamic legal practices in the context of husband-wife relationships, namely Zhihar, Il'a, and Li'an, are actions that can result in divorce. Zhihar is an action that occurs when a husband utters words that are forbidden to his wife by comparing her to a part of his mother's body. Violations of Zhihar have the effect of prohibiting the husband from having intimate relations with his wife and the kafarat that must be fulfilled, such as freeing slaves, fasting, or giving food to the poor. Il'a, on the other hand, involves the husband promising not to have sexual relations with his wife for a certain period, giving time for both to reflect on their relationship. Violations of Il'a resulted in legal consequences, such as feeding ten poor people, distributing clothes, freeing slaves, or fasting for three days. Li'an is an oath given by a husband when accusing his wife of committing adultery without the evidence of four strong witnesses. If proven to be lying, they will receive severe punishment in accordance with Islamic law. Exploring the legal aspects and consequences of these practices illustrates the complexity of regulations and the enforcement of justice in the regulation of husband-wife relationships in Islam.

Abstract

Modern life is often filled with challenges and distractions that can test a person's faith and piety. Therefore, implementing faith and piety in everyday life is very important. This article discusses how individuals can integrate the values of faith and piety in the context of modern life. Faith is the foundation of belief in God and religious teachings. In the midst of modern life which is busy and full of pressure, maintaining a strong faith requires high awareness and commitment. One important step is to involve yourself in regular worship such as prayer, reading the Koran, and dhikr. Additionally, interacting with religious communities and getting guidance from clerics can help strengthen faith. Taqwa, on the other hand, reflects a person's piety and devotion to God. In a modern context, piety can be realized through good actions, high work ethics, and behavior based on moral principles. Maintaining integrity in business, doing good to others, and avoiding sinful acts are part of implementing piety in everyday life. The importance of combining faith and piety in modern life is to create harmony between spirituality and world life. It helps individuals cope with stress, live life meaningfully, and carry out their responsibilities with integrity. Thus, the implementation of faith and piety in modern life is the key to achieving spiritual and material prosperity in this increasingly complex world.

Abstract

According to Islamic concepts, family is a united relationship between men and women through a marriage contract according to Islamic teachings. Mahmud Syaltut defines family planning as the regulation and spacing of births or efforts to prevent pregnancy temporarily or even permanently in connection with certain situations and conditions, both for the family concerned and in the interests of society and the state. Based on the Al-Qur'an, which is the main source of Islamic law, no Sharia text prohibits or orders family planning. This must be returned to the rules of Islamic law which state: "Basically everything and actions are permissible unless or until there are arguments that indicate their prohibition. This research aims to find out about family planning (KB) from the perspective of the Qur'an. The focus of this research is, what is family planning (KB)? What is family planning (KB) from the perspective of the Koran? What is the best birth spacing from the perspective of the Qur'an? This research is qualitative research using a library research approach, namely utilizing library sources to obtain data for the research. This research seeks to explore family planning (KB) from the perspective of the Koran and Hadith. In exploring matters related to this research, of course, using content analysis techniques. The results of this research are that if it is connected between Q.S. Al-Baqarah verse 233 with Q.S. Al-Ahqaf verse 15: From birth until two full years, mothers are commanded to breastfeed their children. Two years is the maximum limit for perfect breastfeeding. Although breastfeeding for two years is ordered, it is not an obligation. The breastfeeding period does not always have to be 24 months, because QS.al-Ahqaf verse 15 states that the pregnancy and breastfeeding period is 30 months. This means, if the fetus is carried for nine months, then breastfeeding is for 21 months, whereas if the fetus is only 6 months. So at that time breastfeeding was 24 months. Meanwhile, according to Masjfuk Zuhdi in his book Masail Fiqhiyyah, if we put these two verses together then at least 6 months of pregnancy and 24 months is the breastfeeding period. If we go back to habits, a mother's pregnancy is usually 9 months and 10 days. Thus, the pregnancy period plus the breastfeeding period is three years minus 3 months or once every 3 years. In this case, it is in line with the meaning contained in health science which states that mothers need time to maintain their health.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to review the primordialism that occurs in the story of Musa As' meeting with two people who were fighting and made Musa As accidentally kill someone. This story is summarized in the QS. al-Qasas/28:15. The methodology used in this research is a qualitative method in the nature of a literature review using Jorge J.E. Gracia's hermeneutic interpretation analysis which examines broad aspects of the verse, both from the historical, meaning and implications, thus producing an interpretive function, namely the historical function. , meaning function, and implicative function. The results of this research are first, this verse was revealed as an effort to strengthen the Muslims who were oppressed by the polytheists like Pharaoh who oppressed Moses and his people and also in line with the general condition of Mecca society at that time which still upheld the values of fanaticism. ethnicity and class. Second, through the function of the meaning of the story of Moses in this verse, it is alleged that there is an attitude of primordialism which encouraged Moses to help a man from his people who was fighting, where the man was someone who often caused chaos. Third, the implication function of this story is relevant to multicultural Indonesian society. Apart from having a positive attitude in strengthening solidarity, primordialism is also often the cause of conflict between groups, especially in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the basis of Islamic law in family planning programs. And to find out about the Family Planning (KB) program in the study of maqashid sharia. This research was carried out using library research and paying attention to the field (Field Research). Literature study is a process of searching for various literature, study results related to the research to be conducted. Literature study can be likened to a key that will open everything that can help solve research problems. The results of the research show that the legal basis for the Family Planning (KB) program is the generality of the verses which indicate that it is permissible to follow the family planning (KB) program, such as Surah al-Baqarah verse 233, Surah Luqman verse 14, Surah an-Nisa verse 9. In verse al- Baqarah verse 233, explains that children must be breastfed for two full years, therefore it is hoped that the mother will not become pregnant again before the baby is two and a half years old or in other words, the child's birth should be spaced at least thirty months, so that the child can be healthy and protected from disease, because of milk. The mother is the best for the baby's growth. This indicates the importance of the Family Planning program in realizing these desires. and in Surah an-Nisa verse 9 it is stated that economic weakness, lack of stable physical health conditions, and children's intellectual weakness due to lack of nutritious food, are the responsibility of both parents. And another legal basis is qiyas to 'azl, because both are human endeavors or efforts to regulate birth. And the ulama who allow this family planning program are Imam al-Ghazali, Imam Ramli, Shaykh al-Hariri, Shaykh Syalthut, for the reason of maintaining the mother's health, avoiding maternal difficulties, and spacing children apart. The Family Planning (KB) program in the study of maqashid sharia is (1) hifdzul nasl, because it benefits the health or education of children if the child's birth distance is too close. Even protection against the harm (bad effects) of family planning must take priority over taking advantage of the benefits of family planning itself. And with a small family size, it will be easier to achieve family prosperity and happiness, especially regarding maternal and child health. (2) Hifdzul nafs, because it benefits the life safety or health of the mother. (3) din, because there is a mafsadat of narrowing livelihoods.

Abstract

Tafsir Al-Qur'anul Karim is the earliest tafsir book in the 19th century in the Malay region and has had a great impact. It was written by a triad of scholars consisting of Abdul Halim Hasanm Zainal Arifin and Abdurrahman. The writing of the tafsir book against the backdrop of Dutch colonization has given nuances of anti-Western sentiment in its interpretation. To prove this claim, the researcher will trace the interpretations in the tafsir book that cornered Western civilization and their religion. This research method is descriptive analytical. The results of this study show that the ulama of the triad always expose the ugliness of western culture to show that Islam is superior. But at the same time, they ignore and do not criticize similar vices that.
