Abstract

This research was carried out in Laut Tador Village, Sei Suka District, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra Province. This place is at an altitude of ±25 meters above sea level (masl), with flat topography. This research was carried out from November 2021 to February 2022. This research aims to determine the dose of inorganic fertilizer and types of manure on N, P and K nutrient uptake and on the growth of soybean plants (Glycine max). This research began in October 2021 to February 2022. Factorial pattern research with a factorial Randomized Block Design/RAK. Treatment factors use various types of manure (O) as the first factor and the second factor is the application of inorganic fertilizer (A). The results of soil analysis on the experimental land are generally low, indicated by the organic matter content at the location, namely 0.25%, not reaching 3% according to ideal soil conditions. . Research Results: The type of manure treatment had a significant effect on the number of primary branches, plant height, stem diameter, crown dry weight, number of root nodules, root nodule weight, while the interaction of organic and anoragnic fertilizers had no significant effect on the number of primary branches, plant height and nutrient uptake. . Providing chicken manure at a dose of 15 tons ha produced the highest number of primary branches, plant height, stem diameter, crown dry weight, number of root nodules, and root nodule weight.

Abstract

Indonesia, the world's largest archipelagic country, has abundant water and marine resources. Frozen shrimp is a leading commodity, with an export value reaching USD 1.53 billion or 37.72% in 2021. The United States is a significant market opportunity for importing countries, reinforced by the high demand for shrimp imports in the United States from various countries in the world, reaching around > 600 tons in 2022 and increasing by 4.75% every year. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the market share of demand for shrimp from Indonesia in the United States market, as well as the relationship between competition for shrimp commodities from Indonesia, India, Ecuador, Mexico and Vietnam based on the elasticity value of demand in the United States market. The research uses purposive sampling and modern data analysis methods. Using the Almost Ideal Demand System (AIDS) econometric model and SAS software for data processing, focusing on the US market's five largest shrimp supply countries. The results of this research show that Indonesia has the potential to increase its market share because of its positive cross-elasticity with India, which indicates a mutually substitutive relationship. Factors that influence demand for imported Indonesian shrimp in America include the price of Ecuadorian shrimp, Mexican shrimp, and total value of Indonesian shrimp imports.

Abstract

In this research, the Fama and French model is used with five independent variables with data from 100 sample shares to explain the influence of these five independent variables on returns. This observation was carried out using quantitative methods for company financial reports which included a sample of 100 shares during the period January 2006 – December 2015. The total number of research samples was 100 (one hundred) companies that consistently had market capitalization values and share prices during the research period. The results of the research show that Market premium (market premium) is significantly positive explaining portfolio excess returns, size (size premium) is significantly positive explaining portfolio excess returns, value (value premium) is significantly positive explaining portfolio excess returns, profitability (profitability premium) is not significantly explaining portfolio excess return, and investment (investment premium) are significantly negative in explaining portfolio excess return. Suggestions for future researchers are to conduct research using more data to obtain a higher level of accuracy, such as increasing the number of companies and extending the research period to more than 10 years. Then you should choose a research period that does not involve certain conditions or phenomena, because in this research period, namely 2006 to 2015, there was a crisis in 2007-2009, which had an impact on investor behavior in considering investing. It is hoped that this will provide better research results.

Abstract

The arts have drawn from many sources throughout history. Some like cinema more and others less. It seems. Literature has been one of the sources for adaptation in photography. But is it really possible to adapt literature and literary sources in photography and if so, how? literary text has a hug impact on reading ability and fully understand the text. In this paper, using a descriptive-context-analytical method, with the perspective of art anthropology.as a result Adaptation from literary sources is possible in text, but it is seen more in staged literary texts, and text writers have adapted more from literary texts than from prose, and the reason for this is that it is possible to adapt more freely than poetry. In order to be represented by literary texts, literary texts must have the capacity to create space, personify, and narrate. However, writers mostly use their mental and inner perception during text writings.

Abstract

This research aims to assess food consumption patterns in families with toddlers and their correlation with stunting among toddlers in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The study uses quantitative descriptive methods, including observation, interviews, note-taking, and 24-hour dietary recalls. It employs the Expected Food Pattern (EFP) approach to evaluate toddler food consumption patterns and Chi-Square analysis to explore links between these patterns and stunting. Food consumption patterns vary due to regional resources and cultural norms. Toddlers' average daily energy intake is 1222.7 kcal per capita, with a final EFP score of 83.5, indicating sufficiency but calling for more diversity. Higher EFP scores represent better dietary diversity and nutritional balance (max 100). Cereal foods contribute the most (43.8% % EAR), followed by oils and fats (12.1%), and animal-based foods (10.6%). Conversely, sugar (1.8%) and oily fruit seeds (4.1%) have the lowest % EAR. Chi-Square analysis reveals a significance level of 0.00 (<0.05), rejecting the null hypothesis (H0). Hence, a connection between Expected Food Pattern (EFP) and stunting in North Hulu Sungai Regency is established.
