The finding that there is still a career choice related to parental parenting patterns is the basis of this research. The purpose of this research is to find the relationship between the role of parental parenting patterns on the career choices of class XII students of SMK Negeri 1 Semarang. In this research, the method used is quantitative with the type of correlational research, the population in this study was 558. The sample of this research was 120 students who were determined by random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a self-control scale and an academic procrastination scale. Based on the results of the hypothesis of this research is "there is a significant relationship between the role of parental parenting patterns on the career choices of class XII students of SMK Negeri 1 Semarang." The results of the Pearson product moment correlation test obtained a Pearson Correlation value of 0.038 which means the correlation level is low. The results of the hypothesis test at a significance level of α = 0.05 and analyzed r count by finding r table using the Pearson product moment table at a level of 5% = 0.176. So that a comparison is obtained based on the values obtained: 0.038 < 0.176 (Ho) is rejected and (Ha) is accepted, so there is a significant relationship between parenting patterns and career choice.

Group guidance is an activity carried out by a group of individuals utilizing group dynamics, namely interactions in the form of sharing opinions, responses, suggestions, and so forth. Learning discipline is not only obedience to rules but also the realization of individual awareness to take responsibility for their own learning process. This study aims to determine the significant influence of group guidance using self-management techniques on students’ learning discipline at SMK Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Alo’oa. This research is a quantitative study. Quantitative research involves the collection and analysis of numerical data with controlled variables, which allows researchers to investigate phenomena and relationships between variables in a structured manner. The results of the hypothesis test using the paired sample t-test with a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.001 < 0.05 indicate that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, thus it can be concluded that group guidance using self-management techniques has a significant influence on learning discipline.

This study aims to determine the extent of the effect of the Person Centered Therapy (PCT) counseling technique on improving students’ self-concept at SMP Negeri 2 Mandrehe. Self-concept is an individual’s idea about themselves, which includes beliefs, perceptions, and evaluations of their own identity. This research employed a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was probability sampling with a random sampling method. The instruments used in this study were a self-concept questionnaire and a Person Centered Therapy (PCT) questionnaire. The hypothesis testing using simple linear regression with a t-test showed a significance level where the t-value was 1.750 and Sig value was 0.001 < 0.005. This indicates that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the Person Centered Therapy (PCT) counseling technique on improving students’ self-concept at SMP Negeri 2 Mandrehe.

This study aims to determine the effect of the self-control technique on the discipline of eighth-grade students at UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli Alo’oa. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, involving class VIII-B as the experimental group and VIII-C as the control group, with a total sample of 49 students. The findings revealed a significant difference between the experimental class, which received counseling services using the self-control technique, and the control class, which did not. The t-test result showed p = 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect after the treatment. Simple regression analysis yielded a correlation value (R) of 0.935 and a coefficient of determination (R-Square) of 0.874. This means that the self-control technique contributed 87.4% to the improvement of students’ discipline, while the remaining 12.6% was influenced by other factors outside this study.

Cyber counselling is a kind of professional counselling in which the client and counsellor are physically separated but yet able to connect with one another via the use of the internet and other technological means. The study's goal is to determine whether clients may benefit from the information services offered by an Android app that is linked to the Cyber Counselling website. Quantitative and qualitative methods are used by researchers while gathering data. Teachers and students who work in the field of guiding and counselling provided the data for this study. Ten pupils were utilised as part of the study's sample. Interviews, observations, and written records are all valid methods of data collecting. Using data analysis methods, we can evaluate the scalability and viability of our application products. Data analysis performed by subject matter experts revealed an 80% compliance with the "feasible" criterion. Experts in the media evaluated the validation findings and determined that all of them met the "very feasible" standards. Eighty percent of the criteria for "feasible" were met in the assessment of validation findings by language specialists. Expert practitioners obtained a 92% feasibility rating for the validation findings, while students' feedback on the cyber counselling app was rated as "very feasible" by 90.18 percentage points. This study concludes that Guidance and Counselling teachers can use the Cyber Counselling Application to support the implementation of counselling services in schools, allowing students to receive virtual assistance with their problems without having to physically visit the guidance and counselling room.

Education must be prepared in such a way that it is able to answer all the problems and challenges of life in the future for students. The end of the semester determines whether the student will graduate or not. In this study the goal to be achieved is to test the butterfly hug technique in influencing students to overcome the problem of excessive self-anxiety. In this study, researchers will use a quantitative approach, namely a research approach where research data is sought in the form of numbers and analyzed using statistics. research population can be concluded as research objects that can be obtained from the information in question. This research is a population of students at SMP Negeri 07 Mesuji Timur. Data analysis is a systematic process of synthesizing data obtained from interviews. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the anxiety of students at SMPN7 Mesuji in facing their final semester exams was initially in the high category. Then to overcome these problems in this study the researchers tried to apply services with the butterfly hug technique in the hope of reducing and improving initial conditions that are easily anxious to be more calm and confident

Guidance and counseling are among the essential aspects of education, serving to support students’ comprehensive development. To ensure that counseling services are delivered professionally and contextually, a strong understanding of their theoretical foundations is required. This article outlines five main pillars that underpin counseling practices: philosophical, psychological, socio-cultural, scientific-technological, and religious dimensions. Each foundation contributes uniquely to shaping a holistic counseling approach. The integration of these five dimensions results in counseling services that are relevant, comprehensive, and responsive to students needs.

The purpose of this study was to develop and produce a product in the form of an information service module that can be used by grade XI students to help provide insight in the form of education about the dangers of HIV/AIDS. This type of research is development. The data subjects were Muhammadiyah Metro University Lecturers, Instructors and counselors as well as students participated in this study. The development process follows the ADDIE model. Before the research results, regarding the development of the Guidance and Counseling Module as an information service on the dangers of HIV/AIDS, it can be concluded that the HIV/AIDS information service This module serves as a student-friendly educational resource to enhance their knowledge and ideas. The results of this research can be used as teaching material for guidance and counseling educators. The findings from this research can be utilized as instructional material by guidance and counseling educators. in providing information services and becoming one of the learning facilities for class XI students.

The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of juvenile delinquency committed by students and the role of teachers in providing advice to students in reducing juvenile delinquency through classical guidance at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Metro. This study used a descriptive methodology. The method of collecting information in this exploration is a subjective explanation strategy through observation and interviews. The instruments used in this exam are observation and interview guidelines. The results of the examination can be summarized as follows: (1) The types of juvenile delinquency committed by students are absenteeism, smoking, being late and going to the thermos during teaching and learning activities. (2) The stages of implementing classical guidance services consist of three stages, namely: initial/initial stage, implementation stage, and closing/assessment stage. (3) Through the implementation of classical guidance services, students actually want to reduce juvenile delinquency by improving their way of behaving, the desire to change is accompanied by the ability of students to reduce juvenile delinquency by choosing good associations with this also having a good impact on student behavior and mentality

The purpose of this research is to develop a TikTok-based classical guidance service media on the importance of self-love and how to apply it to adolescents. This research model is based on the development model by Dick and Carry (1996), with a modified development plan consisting of four stages: analysis, design, development, and implementation. Based on the research results, product development in the form of TikTok video content showed a positive response with feasibility results of "Very Feasible" for all indicators. From the data obtained it can be concluded that the delivery of material, design and discussion is clear, the media is designed attractively, the use of media can increase understanding and this media is useful in classical guidance service activities.
