Abstract

This paper aims to describe the problems in learning phonology, various phonetic problems, the cause of their occurrence and how to overcome them. This paper is a qualitative descriptive study with the type of literature review from which the results of scientific research or other books are closely related to the learning of phonology knowledge, problems and ways to overcome them which are then explained descriptively. The results of this paper conclude that: 1) learning phonology in Arabic is very important to teach at the beginning of the teaching of Arabic because errors in saying a word affect the true or meaningless; 2) There are two main problems in general teaching phonology for non-Arab students, namely: problems relating to the direction of education and problems related to linguistic systems that include phonetic errors and pronunciation of a letter and word; 3) The cause of the problem is because it is influenced by the use of mother tongue (first language) in general, so that it cannot distinguish the length or short of a tone, the pronouncement of self-determination letters, pronunciation of syamsiyah and qamariyah letters, pronunciation of letters of the same nature and pronunciation tanwin letters; 4) As for the solutions offered in overcoming the phoneme pronunciation problem are: proactively instructors should develop children's fluency in speaking phonemes, indoctrinate sound sounds in listening and speaking activities, obtain language sounds in reading and writing activities, and design teaching processes through practical training in tongue sports to gain phoneme skills.

Abstract

جائحة كورونا أجبرنا على إعادة فحص تراثنا الأدبي من أجل البحث عن الحلول أو طرق للتصدي وكيفية التعامل مع الوباء. حاولت الباحثة في هذه الدراسة رصد معالجات أدب الخيال العلمي الشعبي والفني لظاهرة الجوائح التي سبقت جائحة كورونا، والتي توقعت حدوث مثل هذه الجائحة، وكذا توضيح تصورات هذا النوع من الأدب تجاه الفيروسات بشقيها الإلكترونية كفيروسات الحواسيب والمرضية كفيروس كورونا أو الإنفلونزا أو غيرها. وجد البحث قد شهد العالم عديد من الأوبئة مختلفة الأجناس طوال العصور. حقا فقدنا الكثير من الأرواح، على الرغم الخوف من الجائحات في البداية، تغلب البشر على كلها وكتبنا تاريخ البقاء. مع أن الأدبيات تظهر التقنيات مثل الإبعاد الاجتماعي، والكمام، الحجز الصحي والإغلاق التام، وأن جميع الكتب والروايات تشترك معظم الروايات في روح الإيجابية. الشجاعة والرجاء والدعاء والأهم أنها تزيد الإيمان بالله.  The Corona pandemic has forced us to re-examine our literary heritage in order to search for solutions or ways to address and how to deal with the epidemic. In this study, the researcher tried to monitor the treatments of popular and artistic science fiction literature on the phenomenon of the pandemics that preceded the Corona pandemic, which expected the occurrence of such a pandemic, as well as clarifying the perceptions of this type of literature towards viruses, in their electronic parts, such as computer viruses and diseases such as the Corona virus or influenza or others. The research found that the world has witnessed many epidemics of different races throughout the ages. Indeed, many lives have been lost, despite the fear of pandemics in the beginning, humans have overcome all and we have written a history of survival. Although the literature shows techniques such as social distancing, gag, quarantine and total closure, and all books and novels share most of the novels in the spirit of positivity. Courage, hope and supplication, and most importantly, increase faith in God.

Abstract

Artikel ini menjelaskan mengenai pemanfaatan aplikasi Canva dalam membuat video pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Canva ialah yang berbasis online yang dapat digunakan untuk membantu dalam pembuatan presentasi, pamplet, membuat video pembelajaran, setifikat dan lain-lain sebagainya. Desain grafis yang bisa membantu pemakainya agar lebih mudah merancang macam-macam jenis ide-ide dari inspirasi pemikiran sendiri. Dalam proses pengajaran aplikasi ini sangat diperlukan. Aplikasi ini dpt timbul dari pemikiran ide kita untuk merancang sesuatu yang mendapatkan karya dalam pembelajaran. Proses pembelajaran dpt dikerjakan dari rumah serta dilokasi yang membuat diri, pikiran nyaman. Namun, dikarenakan pada masa sekarang maraknya kasus virus corona, pemerintah lebih menghimbau untuk melaksanakan kegiatan di rumah. Dengan demikian kesimpulannya yaitu proses pembelajaran dengan aplikasi Canva dpt dibuat dimana pun, termasuk di luar atau pun di dalam rumah sekalipun, tergantung keadaan lebi kurang yangg memaksa kita harus keluar rumah namun dengan tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan di masa sekarang ini. This article describes how to use the Canva application in making Arabic learning videos. Canva is an online platform that can be used to assist in making presentations, pamphlets, making learning videos, certificates and so on. Graphic design that can help users to more easily design various types of ideas from the inspiration of their own thoughts. In the teaching process this application is indispensable. This application can arise from thinking of our ideas to design something that works in learning. The learning process can be done from home and in a location that makes you feel comfortable. However, due to the increasing number of cases of the corona virus, the government urges people to carry out activities at home. Thus, the conclusion is that the learning process with the Canva application can be made anywhere, including outside or inside the house, depending on the situation that is more or less forcing us to leave the house but while still adhering to current health protocols.

Abstract

أن اللغتين العربية والتاملية تنتميان إلى العائلة اللغوية المختلفة، فعملية الترجمة ليس بأمر سهل. لأنهما تتضمنان القواعد المتنوعة في بناء الجمل وتركيب العبارات. ولذا، إن دارسي اللغة العربية لغة أجنبية في جامعة جنوب شرق سريلانكا يواجهون التحديات في تحديد معاني الجمل العربية وترجمتها إلى اللغة التاملية، فيهدف هذا البحث إلى تحديد التحديات التي يواجهها دارسو اللغة العربية لغة أجنبية عند ترجمة الجمل العربية البسيطة إلى اللغة التاملية. ويعتمد الباحثون في هذا البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، كما تستخدم الأدوات الآتية لجمع المعلومات. أما الأدوات الأولية فيتناول الباحثون فيها الاستبانة، واشتملت الاستبانة فقرة فيها الجمل البسيطة لفحص مدى خبرة الطلاب فى الترجمة، وفى الاستبانة يختار الباحثون 70 طالبا وطالبة حسب العينات غير احتمالية من السنة الأولى من قسم اللغة العربية بجامعة جنوب شرق سريلانكا. وأما المعلومات الثانوية فتعتمد على الكتب والمجلات والبحوث والشبكات الإلكترونية وغيرها. والنتيجة من هذا البحث عدة أخطاء عند عملية الترجمة للطلبة وهي: الخطأ في إتيان الكلمة المناسبة إلى لغة الهدف وعدم ربط الكلمة وتغيير الزمن وعدم ذكر الفاعل والحال والترجمة بعدم اعتبار سياق اللغة الهدف واستعمال الترجمة الحرفية وأسلوب التحدث، واتيان الترجمة غير مناسبة والترجمة بغير اعتبار سياق لغة الأصل والهدف ونسخ لغة الأصل بحروف لغة الهدف، وإبدال الحرف فى اللغة التاملية. Arabic is considered to be one of the Semitic language families from global languages at the same time, Tamil is one of the classical language belongs to the Dravidian language family. Considering the families of Arabic and Tamil languages, they belong to different language families. Thus, the translation process is very difficult between them. Because they contain the various rules of sentence formation and phrase composition. Therefore, students of Arabic as a foreign language at the South Eastern University of Sri Lanka face challenges in identifying the meaning of Arabic sentences and translating them into Tamil. According to this, the research aims to identify translation errors in writing of simple sentences among Arabic language learners as a second language. This research uses descrivtive analysis methods. The primary data were collected from the questionnaire distributed among 70 male and female students from the Department of Arabic Language. Secondary data were collected from books, researches, articles, and web articles. MS Excel is used for the data analysis. This research finds that most students have sufficient knowledge of translation between Arabic and Tamil languages because they have learned Arabic in Arabic colleges for about five seven, or eight years The results concludes several errors in the translation process such as; the error in taking the appropriate word to the target language, failure to link the word according to the target language, using incorrect tense patterns, failure to mention the subject and the adverb, translation does not regard the context of the target language, the use of literal translation and speaking style, and transliterating the Arabic word in the Tamil language.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui langkah-langkah guru bahasa Arab dalam meningkatkan minat belajar bahasa Arab peserta didik kelas VIII MTs DDI Kanang Polewali Mandar selama Pandemi Covid 19. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian lapangan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang ditinjau dari tempat penelitian. Dalam hal data, ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri yang dibantu pedoman observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yaitu diawali dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, kemudian verifikasi dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengujian keabsahan data dengan cara menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu 1) langkah-langkah yang dilakukan guru dalam meningkatkan minat belajar bahasa Arab peserta didik kelas VIII MTs DDI Kanang Polewali Mandar pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 adalah dilakukan dengan dua sistem, yaitu sistem secara daring dan luring, adapun daring menggunakan metode ceramah dan metode tanya jawab, sedangkan luring menggunakan metode campuran. 2) Kendala yang dihadapi oleh guru dalam meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik adalah jaringan internet yang tidak stabil, durasi waktu pembelajaran yang terbatas, dan kurangnya minat peserta didik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab. This study aims to find out the steps of Arabic teacher in increasing interest in learning Arabic students of class VIII MTs DDI Kanang Polewali Mandar Regency during the Covid 19 Pandemic. This research is included in the field research type of qualitative descriptive research that is reviewed from the research site. In terms of data, this is descriptive research. The instruments in this study are the researchers themselves who assisted in observation guidelines, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques are initiated by data reduction, data presentation, and then data verification and conclusion. Testing the validity of data by using triangulation. The results of this study are 1) the steps taken by teachers in increasing the interest in learning Arabic students of class VIII MTs DDI Kanang Binuang Polewali Mandar Regency during the Covid-19 Pandemic are carried out with two systems, namely online system and offline system, while online using lecture methods and question and answer methods, while offline using mixed methods. 2) The obstacles faced by teachers in increasing the interest in learning learners are unstable networks, limited time, lack of interest in students in learning Arabic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami makna huruf jar Ba yang terdapat dalam al-Quran khususnya pada surah Al-Maidah. Penelitian ini termasuk kajian kepustakaan (library research) yaitu teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui studi telaah terhadap isi buku-buku, literatur, catatan atau artikel ilmiah yang ada Adapun hasil penelitian ini, terdapat huruf jar ba sebanyak 91 kali terulang dalam surah Al-Maidah, dengan 5 makna huruf jar yang dapat diklasifikasikan sebagai berikut: 1) Bermakna al-Isti’anah terdapat pada ayat ke 3 dan 45. 2) Bermakna al-Mushahabah terdapat pada ayat ke 8, 13, 16, 29 dan 36. 3) Bermakna sababiyah terdapat pada ayat ke 13, 18, 32, 44 dan 58. 4) Bermakna al-Qasam terdapat pada ayat ke 53, 106 dan 107. Dan 5) Bermakna al-Tab’idiyyah dan atau al-Ilshaq pada ayat ke 6. This research aims to find out and understand the meaning of the letter jar ba contained in the Quran, especially in the Surah Al-Maidah. This research is a library research, namely a data collection technique through a study of the contents of existing books, literature, notes or scientific articles. The results of this study, there is a jar letter ba as many as 91 times repeated in the surah Al-Maidah, with 5 meanings of the letter jar which can be classified as follows: 1) al-isti'anah is found in verses 3 and 45. 2) al-mushahabah is found in verses 8, 13, 16, 29 and 36. 3) sababiyah is found in verses 13, 18, 32, 44 and 58. 4) al-qasam is found in verses 53, 106 and 107. And 5) the meaning of al-tab'idiyyah and or al-ilshaq is found in verse 6.

Abstract

تعنى هذه الورقة البحثية بدراسة نافذة جديدة من نوافذ اللسانيات الحاسوبية وهي : (بوابات المعاجم الرقمية ) وذلك من خلال دراسة بوابة (واجهة) المعجم الرقمي المختص (معجم الشامي). وقد تناول البحث دراسة في ثلاثة مباحث وهي تأصيل مصطلحات الدراسة، وبوابة المعجم الرقمي (مصطلحات المكتبات والمعلومات والأرشيف) لأحمد الشامي دراسة معجمية في ضوء اللسانيات الحاسوبية، والأخير روابط المعجم الرقمي لمصطلحات المكتبات والمعلومات والأرشيف دراسة معجمية حاسوبية. وقد اعتمد البحث على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي النقدي، من خلال وصف بوابة المعجم وتحليل البيانات الواردة فيها محاولة منا لتأصيل بعض قواعد المعجمية الحاسوبية، ومن ثم التطبيق على المعجم محل الدراسة لمعرفة مدى قبوليته معجميا، وكيف قامت بوابته بدورها معجميا من حيث التيسير على المستخدم، وإظهار مواطن الضعف الواردة فيها. وقد توصل البحث إلى العديد من النتائج من أهمها: أن البوابات الإلكترونية هي الواجهات أو المنافذ التي تُتيح لمستخدم الإنترنت خدماتها المتكاملة والولوجَ بسرعة وسهولة إلى أهم المواضيع، يصعب البحث عن معاني المصطلحات في هذا المعجم حيث إنه لا يوجد خانة منفردة لكتابة المصطلح المطلوب معناه، وعدم توفير واجهة رقمية تسمح للمستخدم بإضافة مصطلحات جديدة أو إيصال ملحوظة، واستخدام المعجم الروابط الإلكترونية للإحالة إلى موقع أو صورة أو للخروج من مصطلح إلى مصطلح آخر، كما أوصت الباحثتان بدراسة بوابات المعاجم الرقمية وعمل مقارنات بينها؛ لوضع ضوابط لبوابات تلك المعاجم. AbstractThis research paper is concerned with studying a new window of computational linguistics, which is: (digital dictionaries gates), through studying the portal (interface) of the specialized digital dictionary (Al-Shami dictionary). The research dealt with a study in three sections, which are the rooting of the study terms, and the digital lexicon portal (libraries, information and archive terms) by Ahmed Al-Shami, a lexical study in the light of computer linguistics, and the last links the digital lexicon of library, information and archive terms, a computer lexicographical study. The research relied on the descriptive, analytical and critical approach, by describing the lexicon portal and analyzing the data contained in it, in an attempt to establish some rules of computer lexicography, and then apply it to the lexicon under study to find out its lexical acceptability, and how its lexicographical role in terms of facilitating the user, showing weaknesses contained therein. The research has reached several results, the most important of which are: that electronic portals are the interfaces or ports that allow the Internet user its integrated services and access quickly and easily to the most important topics. Providing a digital interface that allows the user to add new terms or deliver a note, and use the dictionary electronic links to refer to a site or an image or to exit from one term to another term. The two researchers also recommended studying digital dictionaries portals and making comparisons between them; To set controls for the gates of those dictionaries.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media kartu bergambar terhadap minat belajar bahasa Arab peserta didik kelas VII MTs DDI Kanang Polewali Mandar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, yaitu pendekatan ini berangkat dari suatu teori, gagasan para ahli ataupun dikembangkan menjadi permasalahan dan beserta pemecahan-pemecahannya yang diajukan untuk memperoleh kebenaran dalam bentuk dukungan data empiris lapangan dan juga memerlukan analisis statistik, yaitu dengan menggunakan angka-angka untuk mencapai kebenaran hipotesis. Angka-angka di sini mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting dalam pembuatan, penggunaan dan pemecahan masalah model kuantitatif. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII MTs DDI Kanang berjumlah 156 siswa yang terbagi dalam 6 kelas kemudian 2 kelas diambil sebagai sampel. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes essai yang didalamnya gambar-gambar peralatan sekolah kemudian diterjemahkan kedalam bahasa Arab. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan rumus “t-test”. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa Dengan membandingkan besarnya t yang diperoleh dalam perhitungan yang tercantum pada nilai t = tabel dimana t hitung = 14,52 sedangkan t tabel = 2,064, karena t hitung lebih besar dari pada t tabel  maka hipotesis diterima dan ini berarti proses “penerapan media kartu bergambar berpengaruh digunakan dalam meningkatkan minat belajar bahasa Arab” khususnya pada pembelajaran mufradat pada siswa kelas VII MTs DDI Kanang.AbstractThis research aims to find out the influence of using picture card media on the interest in learning Arabic for class VII students of MTs DDI Kanang Polewali Mandar. This type of research is quantitative research, that is, this approach departs from a theory, the ideas of experts or developed into problems and along with its solutions proposed to obtain the truth in the form of empirical data support field and also requires statistical analysis, namely by using numbers to achieve the truth of the hypothesis. The numbers here have a very important role in the creation, use and problem solving of quantitative models. The research method used is the experimental method. The population in this study, namely class VII MTs DDI Kanang students, amounted to 156 students who were divided into 6 classes and then 2 classes were taken as samples. The instrument used is a test question of completion in which pictures of school equipment are then translated into Arabic. The data analysis technique used is to use the formula "t-test". The results of the data analysis showed that by comparing the magnitude of t obtained in the calculation listed on the value t = table where t counts = 14.52 while t table = 2.064, because t calculates is greater than t table then the hypothesis is accepted and this means that the process of "application of influential pictorial card media is used in increasing interest in learning Arabic" especially in mufradat learning in students of class VII MTs DDI Kanang.

Abstract

تدور فكرة هذا المقال المعنون بــــ"المحظورات اللغوية في وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي وأثرها السلبي على فساد أخلاق الشباب في العالم الإسلامي" في إلقاء الضوء على ما تقوم به الأفراد والجماعات والفرق في وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي من الأقوال المخالفة للقيم السليمة والحياء العام وما تسببه من انتشار أنواع مختلفة للكلام البذيئ الفاحش (المحظور اللغوي) الذي يخدش الحياء العام ويخالف العادات والأديان والتقاليد للمجتمعات البشرية ذات الفطرة السليمة، وأثرها السلبي على تدمير أخلاق الشباب المسلم. وقد انتهج الباحثان المنهج الوصفي في معالجة الظاهرة. واختتم المقال بخاتمة تنطوي على أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها الباحثان.ABSTRACT The idea of this article entitled “Linguistic Taboos in social media and their negative impact on deterioration of morals of the youth in the Islamic world” revolves around shedding light on the statements made by individuals, groups and teams on social media that contradict sound values and public modesty; which cause the spread of various types of obscene and obscene speech (Linguistic Taboo) that violate public modesty and violate the customs, religions and traditions of human societies with common sense, and their negative impact on destroying the morals of Muslim youth. The researchers adopted the descriptive method in addressing the phenomenon. The article concluded with a conclusion that includes the most important findings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan dan mendeskripsikan upaya-upaya dalam meningkatkan kemampuan Bahasa Arab mahasiswa Non Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dari kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Arab mahasiswa non Pendidikan Bahasa Arab dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mereka melalui uraian bentuk pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Arab, dan solusi yang ditawarkan. Penelitian ini berbentuk kualitatif deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan data dari pihak yang terlibat yaitu dosen dan mahasiswa sebagai peserta pembelajaran bahasa Arab. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.  Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa upaya yang dilakukan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Arab mahasiswa non Pendidikan Bahasa Arab adalah dengan mengadakan pembelajaran bahasa Arab yaitu dengan strategi pembelajaran salah satunya dengan menerjemahkan kosakata, menyusun kosakata menjadi sebuah kalimat, berlatih hiwar, membaca teks, menganalisa teks. Diantara solusi yang ditawarkan untuk meningkatkan pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut adalah dengan waktu yang cukup dan secara terus-menerus dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab, adanya bahan ajar yang memadai dengan memberikan bekal pelatihan dan workshop untuk pengajar bahasa Arab, menggunakan media pembelajaran bahasa Arab selain buku, menciptakan lingkungan bahasa Arab dan mengevaluasi kegiatan pembelajaran tersebut. AbstractThis study explains and describes efforts to improve the Arabic language skills of Non-Arabic Language Education (PBA) students. This research aims to find out from the Arabic language learning activities in improving the abilities of non-Arabic Language Education students, through a description of the implementation of Arabic language learning activities, and the solutions offered. This research is a descriptive qualitative research by collecting data from the parties involved, namely lecturers and students as participants in learning Arabic. Data collection through observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques using miles and huberman models include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that the efforts made in improving the Arabic language skills of non-Arabic Language Education students are by holding Arabic language learning, namely with learning strategies, one of which is by translating vocabulary, compiling vocabulary into a sentence, practicing conversation, reading texts, analyzing texts. The solution offered to improve the implementation of these activities is with sufficient time and continuously in Arabic language learning, the existence of adequate teaching materials by providing training and workshops for Arabic teachers, using Arabic learning media other than books, creating an Arabic environment, and evaluating the learning activities.
