Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation and effect of the Automated Registration Machine on service efficiency at Awal Bros Botania Hospital. This study uses observation and interview methods to collect data on the effectiveness of the Automated Registration Point in speeding up the patient registration process. The results showed that the use of Automated Registration Machine at Awal Bros Botania Hospital Batam has improved service efficiency by reducing patient waiting time. BPJS patients who register online can directly use the machine to re-register without having to queue at the counter. The self-registration platform also simplifies the registration process, improves patient satisfaction, and helps the hospital increase productivity. However, there are technical issues such as running out of ink or paper, as well as difficulties for some patients, especially the elderly, in operating the machine. To address this, hospitals need to provide technical support, training for patients, and more helpers around the machines. Self-registration machines also help administrative and medical staff in improving work efficiency, as there are fewer queues at the registration counters.

Abstract

The hospital reporting system (SPRS) is a system created by the health department that aims to obtain data on all hospital activities throughout Indonesia which is then used as information about the national health situation. The reporting system is crucial, requiring all Indonesian hospitals to submit reports strictly on schedule. One of the reports made by the Hospital is the monthly morbidity report. The monthly morbidity report is a monthly report of disease data containing ICD-10 code data and the distribution of disease cases by age group as well as new or old cases. LB1 data is used by the Health Office to carry out planning, monitoring, and evaluation for follow-up. The data source for 10 outpatient diseases at Awal Bros Hospital comes from daily patient visit reports. The outpatient visit report at Awal Bros Hospital is in the form of electronic data obtained from the outpatient Electronic Medical Record that has been inputted by officers when patients come for treatment or visit on January 1 to 31, 2025. Then the data that has been drawn in the form of Microsoft Excel is filtered and in the pivot table, select the rows diagnosis and value No. Registration then the data is sorted and the data of the Top 10 Most Common Diseases is obtained. At Awal Bros Hospital, back diseases and disc disorders with radiculopathy are the most prevalent, with 2,203 cases. Thus, health workers should prioritize lifestyle counseling to address this significant health issue.

Abstract

Parents of children with special needs (CSN) frequently experience intense emotional turmoil following their child's diagnosis. This qualitative study examines the transformation of parents' emotional responses before and after participating in a psychoeducational seminar titled "Educating Children with Special Needs by Understanding Their World." Analysis of twenty spontaneous narratives from parents at SLB Negeri 1 Gowa revealed three predominant pre-seminar themes: feelings of despair and helplessness, uncertainty about the child's future, and profound guilt. Post-seminar, three transformative themes emerged: enhanced acceptance of the child's condition, increased self-confidence in caregiving roles, and the development of social solidarity among participants. These findings highlight the effectiveness of empathetic and participatory psychoeducational interventions in facilitating parental acceptance and building resilience for the long-term support of children with special needs. The study contributes to understanding how structured educational interventions can positively impact parental emotional adaptation to challenging caregiving circumstances.

Abstract

The Indonesian Music Museum (MMI) is an institution that preserves the history of Indonesian music that in its operational process requires an efficient and informative guest visit recording system. The implementation of a manual guest book recording system has several weaknesses and shortcomings that can cause losses to the Indonesian Music Museum. The purpose of this research is to design and implement a digital-based guest book using the PHP RAD framework at the Indonesian Music Museum as a form of optimizing the development of the latest technology. This research uses the Action Research method. The data collection technique in this study was through observation and interviews, followed by needs analysis, system design, implementation, system testing, application and maintenance of the system. The results of the study showed that the use of this digital system was able to increase the accuracy of visitor data, speed up the recording process, and facilitate the analysis of visitor data in real time. The digital-based guest book recording system also allows the Indonesian Music Museum to collect visitor demographic data that is useful for developing programs and data-driven decision-making.

Abstract

Effective communication skills and mature future planning are essential competencies for individuals facing educational and professional worlds. However, many students still experience difficulties in developing their self-potential due to inadequate communication skills and limited understanding of future planning. To address these issues, the Training and Mentoring Program for Self-Potential Development Strategies with Communication Skills Techniques and Future Planning was designed to equip students with the necessary skills to become more confident and have clear future direction. This community service program was implemented at Yayasan Al Falah At Tirmidzi Ciganitri using practice-based training methods and intensive mentoring. The main activities included communication skills training, public speaking techniques, self-potential development, and career planning through career roadmap development. The approaches used encompassed interactive methods, simulations, group discussions, and individual mentoring to ensure participants could apply the knowledge gained in real life. The results of this program are expected to improve participants' communication abilities, both in expressing opinions effectively and in public speaking. Additionally, participants are better able to identify their interests and talents and develop more focused educational and future plans. Thus, this program not only provides short-term benefits but also contributes to building participants' independence and readiness in facing future challenges.
