Abstract

Benih sirsak merupakan salah satu benih rekalsitran yang memiliki viabilitas rendah dan masa hidup yang pendek apabila kehilangan kadar air awal. Viabilitas benih sirsak dapat  ditingkatkan, salah satunya dengan perendaman ekstrak rumput laut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruhkonsentrasi ekstrak rumput laut dan lama perendaman terhadap viabilitas benih sirsak serta mengetahui konsentrasi ekstrak rumput laut dan lama perendaman yang terbaik untuk meningkatkan viabilitas benih sirsak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen rancangan acak lengkap dalam bentuk faktorial. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi ekstrak rumput laut dengan 4 taraf yaitu k0 = tanpa ekstrak rumput laut, k1 = 12,5%, k2 = 25%, k3 = 37,5% dan faktor kedua adalah lama perendaman dengan 2 taraf yaitu p1 = 24 jam dan p2 = 48 jam. Setiap perlakuan diulang 4 kali, masing-masing ulangan menggunakan 25 benih. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi ekstrak rumput laut yang diberikan dan lama perendaman sudah mampu meningkatkan viabilitas benih sirsak. Konsentrasi ekstrak rumput laut 25% dan lama perendaman 48 jam merupakan kombinasi perlakuan dengan rata-rata tertinggi dalam meningkatkan viabilitas benih sirsak tolok ukur daya berkecambah (81%), indeks vigor (1,93%), keserempakan tumbuh (79%), dan kecepatan tumbuh (2,22%/etmal).   Kata Kunci : benih sirsak, ekstrak rumput laut, konsentrasi, lama perendaman,        viabilitas

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh beberapa jenis abu yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil mentimun pada tanah gambut. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kebun percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Tanjungpura Pontianak. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari tanggal 31 Maret 2014 sampai dengan tanggal 11 Mei 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan : A (abu sekam padi); B (abu jerami padi); C (abu tandan kosong kelapa sawit); D (abu alang - alang) terdiri dari 6 ulangan, setiap ulangan terdapat 4 tanaman sampel. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini meliputi, berat kering tanaman (g), jumlah buah pertanaman (buah), berat buah pertanaman (g), kehijauan daun (Spad unit), volume akar (cm3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis abu tidak memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap semua variabel pengamatan.   Kata kunci : Abu, Mentimun, Tanah Gambut.

Abstract

Productivity of ginger (Zingiber officinale)  in Indonesia are generally low, this may be related to several factors such as less optimal fertilization, unsuitable environmental conditions to grow, both climate and soil fertility, as well as the use of non recommended cultivation techniques. The aims  of this study was to determine the effect of Cattle Chicken Manures on The Growth and Yield of Ginger on alluvial soil. The experiment was conducted at the from April until Juni 2018. The research design used in this study was Completely Randomized Design with 5 levels Cattle Chicken Manures The treatments were the use of P1 = 10 ton/ha , P2 = 15 ton/ha, P3 = 20 ton/ha, P4 = 25 ton/ha, P5 = 30 ton/ha. Each treatment was repeated five times, and the experimental unit consisted of 4 plant samples. Varieties of ginger used came from farmer’s garden. The parameters measured were plant height, number of tillers, number of leaves,  number of klorofil and rhizome weight plant-1. The results showed that Peel have significant effect on plant height, number of tillers, number of leaves,  number of klorofil and rhizome weight plant. Result of diversity in this research showed that  20 ton/ha Peel equal of 2,8 kg/ha give tend better than dose another treatment toward to ginger plant and yield on alluvial soil.Keywords: Aluvial,  Chicken manures, Ginger

Abstract

ABSTRAKDesa Peniti Besar Kecamatan Segedong Kabupaten Mempawah memilki tanah gambut yang cukup luas digunakan sebagai lahan pertanian, antara lain digunakan untuk perkebunan sawit. Kondisi tanah gambut di lahan kelapa sawit ini sudah baik tetapi masih kurangnya perawatan pada sawit dikarenakan yang bahwa tingkat produktivitas kelapa sawit dipengaruhi oleh kondisi tanah dan keadaan iklim. Perkebunan Kelapa sawit di Desa Peniti Besar Kecamatan Segedong yang di kelola oleh warga sekitar yang belum memperhatikan penggunaan lahan, yang tepat diharapkan mampu memberikan hasil produksi yang optimal agar pemenuhan kebutuhan masyarakat dapat terpenuhi.Hasil analisis fisika tanah menunjukkan bahwa kadar serat utuh pada lahan kelapa sawit kematangan hemik pada kedalaman 0-30 cm kadar serat utuh sebesar 40.00 % dan pada kadar serat gosok 48.34 % . pada kedalaman 30-60 cm kematangan tanah hemik kadar serat utuh sebesar 38.34 % dan pada kadar serat gosok 48.14 %. Pada lahan semak belukar kedalaman 0-30 cm kematangan hemik kadar serat utuh 42.50 % kadar serat gosok 36.36 % dan pada kedalaman 30-60 cm kematangan hemik kadar serat utuh 34.16 % dan kadar serat gosok 34.36 % . Bobot isi antara lahan kelapa sawit kedalaman 0-30 cm dan 30-60 cm dengan nilai 0,22-0,16 g/cm3 pada lahan semak belukar 0-30 cm dan 30-60 cm 0,24-0,14 g/cm3 dengan kriteria rendah. Porositas total antara lahan kelapa sawit  0-30 cm dengan nilai 88,07 30-60 cm 90,76 dan pada lahan semak belukar kedalaman 0-30 cm  dengan nilai 86,05 dan 30-60 cm 91,85 dengan kriteria porous, kadar air kapasitas lapangan antara lahan kelapa sawit kedalaman 0-30 cm dengan nilai 77,24  dan 30-60 cm 83,44 pada lahan semak belukar kedalaman 0-30 cm dengan nilai 65,60 dan kedalman 30-60 cm dengan nilai 75,37 Permeabilitas tanah menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata pada kedalaman 0-30 cm dengan nilai 16,84 keedalaman 30-60 cm 15,51 dan pada kedalaman 0-30 cm dengan nilai 15,79 pada kedalaman 30-60 cm 12,53 dengan berkriteria cepat. Kata kunci : sifat fisika tanah, tanah gambut, penggunaan lahan.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the best dosage of clam shell powder for the growth and yield of green mustard on peat soil. The research was conducted at the research field of Agricultural Faculty of Tanjungpura University Pontianak from October 28th to December 28th 2018. The Completely Randomized Design (CRD) was used in this experiment with 4 levels of clam shell powder dosage and 6 replications. The levels of dosage were 10.1, 13.6, 17.3 and 20 tons/ha consecutively. Observed variables were the leaf number, the root volume, the leaf area and the fresh and dry weight of plant. The results showed that the levels of clam shell powder had no significant effects on all of growth and yield variables observed. It is concluded that the 10.1 tons/ha was the most efficient dosage of clam shell powder. Keywords : the clam shell powder, peat soil, Green Mustard

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai macam mikroorganisne lokal terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil terung pada tanah alluvial. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), perlakuan yang diberikan terdiri dari 6 Perlakuan setiap perlakuan terdiri 4 ulangan setiap ulangan terdiri dari 3 sampel. Adapun perlakuan sebagai berikut : mol bonggol pisang (p1), mol buah-buhan (p2), mol sayur-sayuran (p3), mol rebung (p4), mol maja (p5), mol nasi (p6). Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini meliputi tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah cabang produktif (cabang), diameter buah (cm), panjang buah (cm), jumlah buah per tanaman (buah), berat buah per tanaman (g). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mol bonggol pisang, mol buah-buahan, mol sayur-sayuran, mol rebung, mol maja, mol nasi, berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua variabel yang diamati. Abstract

Crocidolomia pavonana (F) is one of the Olygophagic pest and is the main pest in family plants (Brassicaceae) which can result in yield loss of up to 65.8%.This study aims to determine the development and reproduction of   C. pavonana (F) which is maintained with artificial diets in the laboratory. The Research was carried out in the Tanjungpura University Faculty of Agriculture Plant Pest Laboratory which began from October to January. C. pavonana (F) is preserved in a 50 ml plastic cups.The artificial diets made from Phaseolus vulgaris L. with the addition of other supporting ingredients according to the Salama method (1970).Then do the multiplication of test insects until they reach F2. Furthermore, cohort observations were carried out using 100 individual 1 instars per glass. The parameters observed were life cycle, mortality, sex ratio, fecundity, and egg fertility.The observations were made using 100 instars 1 as individual cohorts per glass .The results showed the development period of C. pavonana (F) from hatching to adult ranged between 24 – 30 days, C. pavonana (F) life cycle from egg to produce eggs again lasts 28 - 33 days an average of 30.57 days, theage of eggs until dead individual lasts 8-52 days an average of 39.23 days,the egg stage ranged from 3-5 daysan average of 4 days.Larvae consist of 4 instars, first instar stage duration (3-5 days)an average of 4.04 days, second instar (3-5 days) an average of 3.08 days, instar III (2-5 days) an average of 2.82 days, IV instar (2-3 days) an average of 2.08 days, pre-pupa (2-3 days) an average of 2.42 days and pupa (7-9 days)an average of 8.26 days. The length of life of male adult ranges between 2 – 29 days an average of 15.90 days and female adult between 4- 27 days an average of 12.90 days. The pre-laying period ranges from 2- 5 days an average of 3.3 days and the post-nesting period ranges from 2 - 11 days an average of 4.95 days. Egg fertility with an average of 88.23%. Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth response of California papaya seeds and to find the best dose of sugarcane compost application for the growth of California papaya seeds. The study was conducted at the Campus of Tanjungpura University, Pontianak for 3 months. The method used was a field experiment with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) pattern, consisting of 6 treatments, 4 replications and 3 samples. Treatment b1 = dosage 150 g / poly bag ≈ 5% sugarcane compost b1 = dose 225 g / polybag ≈ 7.5% sugarcane compost b3 = 300 g / polybag dose ≈ 10% sugarcane compost b4 = 375 g dose / polybag ≈ 12.5% sugarcane compost b5 = doses 450 g / polybag ≈ 15% sugarcane compost and b6 = 525 g dose / polybag ≈ 17.5% sugarcane compost in a composition of 3 kg media weight each. The observation variables were plant height, number of leaves, leaf chlorophyll content, stem diameter, root volume and plant dry weight. The results of this experiment proved that the use of 150 g / polybag sugarcane compost was an effective dose for the growth of papaya seeds. Abstract

An onion plant is the commodity that must be expanded, intensively in West Borneo, one of the suitable soils be used for planting this plant is alluvial soil. This research is aim to know the best dose of Bio urine on growth and the onion plant yield on alluvial soil. The sample of this research is Completely Randomise Design (RCD). b1 treatment control, b2 treatment: Bio urine 50 ml + 950 ml water = 1 L, b3 treatment: Bio urine 100 ml + 900 ml water = 1 L, b4 treatment: Bio urine 150 ml + 850 ml water = 1 L, b5 treatment: Bio urine 200 ml + 800 ml water = 1 L, b6 treatment: Bio urine 250 ml + 750 ml water = 1 L. So that can be achieved 6 treatments, 4 repetitions and 3 observation samples. There are some of observation variable on this research are the plant stature(cm), leaves(sheet), sprouts,  tubers per clump(tubers), root, volumes(ml)and dried weigh tubers(g). The result of this research show that the bio urine treatment evidently influenced on plant stature 2 weeks after planted, abstract influent on all observation variables.Keywords :Onion, Bio urine, Alluvial Soil

Abstract

Perusahaan perkebunan kelapa sawit dianggap dapat meningkatkan  perekonomian masyarakat sekitar. Kegiatan tersebut dikhawatirkan mengganggu ekosistem sekitar seperti tercemar pupuk dan pestisida. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas air di sepanjang Sub Daerah Aliran Sungai Bata yang digunakan sebagai areal perkebunan kelapa sawit. Pengukuran kualitas air seperti temperatur, derajat keasaman (pH), Kandungan sedimen (Total Suspended Solid/TSS), DO (dissolved Oxygen), COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand), BOD ( Biochemical Oxygen Demand), Nitrat/Nitrit, fosfor, debit aliran, dan kecerahan. Hasil penelitian pada Sub Daerah Aliran Sungai Bata ini menunjukkan bahwa pada titik I memiliki kriteria kelas satu untuk semua parameter yang diuji kecuali COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) dan BOD ( Biochemical Oxygen Demand), pada titik II memiliki kriteria kelas satu kecuali COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) dan BOD ( Biochemical Oxygen Demand) dan pada titik III memiliki kriteria kelas satu kecuali TSS (Total Suspended Solid), COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) dan BOD ( Biochemical Oxygen Demand).
