Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of the combination of NPK and fertilizar duck manure on the growth and yield of sorghum in peat soil. The research was conducted at sepakat II street, Mapar aley, South east Pontianak sub-district. Starting from December until march, 2019. The study design (CRD) used a completely randomized design with 6 treatments which were repeated 4 times. The treatment is as follows: A = 100% NPK fertilizer is equivalent 400 kg/ha, B = 80% NPK fertilizer is equivalent to 320 kg/ha +20% duck manure equivalent to tons/ha, C = 60% NPK fertilizer is equivalent to 240 kg/ha +40% duck manure equivalent to 6 ton/ha, D = 40% NPK fertilizer is equivalent to 160 kg/ha +60% duck manure equivalent to 9 tons/ha, E = 20% NPK fertilizer is equivalent to 80 kg/ha + 80% duck manure equivalent to 12 tons/ha, F = 100% duck manure equivalent to 15 tons/ha. The variables that observed in this study were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, root volume, weight of plant dry, weight of 1,000 seeds, seed weight per panicle. The results showed that the distributing of a combination of NPK fertilizer and duck manure to the growth and yield of sorghum in peat soil had increased root volume and plant height aged 3,5 MST. In general the combination of NPK and fertilizar duck manure influence the growth and yield of sorghum in peat soil. Keywords: duck manure, NPK, peat and sorghum.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian dosis pupuk phonska terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman tomat dilahan gambut. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Rasau Jaya 3, kecamatan Rasau Jaya, Kabupaten Kubu Raya dengan jenis tanah gambut, dimulai pada tanggal 22 Oktober 2012 08 Februari 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen lapangan dengan pola Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri dari satu faktor yaitu dosis pupuk majemuk, dengan 6 taraf perlakuan terdiri dari 4 ulangan, setiap perlakuan terdapat 6 tanaman sampel. Variabel yang diamati dalam penelitian ini meliputi umur berbunga (hst), tinggi tanaman (cm), berat kering tanaman (g), jumlah buah pertanaman (buah), berat buah pertanaman (buah). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk majemuk phonska berpengaruh nyata terhadap variabel pertumbuhan tanaman yaitu tinggi tanaman dan berat kering sedangkan tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap variabel hasil, yaitu umur berbunga, jumlah buah pertanaman dan berat buah pertanaman. Abstract

ABSTRACTPerformance studies of rice were considered very essential in order to understand the description of the characters possessed by red rice types. This study aims to determine the morphological and agronomic characters of Tabah red rice type qualitatively and quantitatively based on the Guide to Rice Crop Characterization and Evaluation Systems (Ministry of Agriculture, 2003). The research was carried out on paddy fields owned by Sungai Kakap Seed Development Board Plant. The results showed that the agronomic character of Tabah red rice has the ability to medium breed (12.96), plant height in the vegetative phase maximum 125.85 cm classified as medium, panicle and neck panicle out thoroughly, grain fertility 83.47% classified as fertile, Plant age of 152 days is classified as deep, and the yield is 8.14 tons / ha. Morphological characters were seedling height 38.17 cm, leaf length 58.56 cm classified as medium, leaf width 1.39 cm classified as wide, surface of hairy leaves and rough, 37.5° leaf angles classified as upright, leaf angle 45° classified as medium, light green leaf neck, white leaf ears colorless, golden yellow leaf book, light green leaves, green leaf midrib, 1.8 cm long tongue leaf , the leaf tongue is white (Yellow-Green Group 145 A), the tongue shape is 2-cleft, the stem angle is 30° is medium, the stem is yellow gold (Yellow-Green Group 151 D), the panicle is 27.43 cm, panicle type is classified as medium and open, panicle is drooping, seed length is 9.55 mm classified as very long, seed width 3,81 mm, seed thickness 1,86 mm, and weight of 100 grains 2.17 grams with moisture content of 13.6 %. Keywords: agronomy, red rice, characterization, morphology, Ensalang rice type.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sifat fisika dan kimia tanah pada areal terbuka dan kelapa sawit bekas Penambangan Emas Tanpa Izin (PETI). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Kayu Ara Kecamatan Mandor Kabupaten Landak. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode survey yaitu diambil masing-masing lokasi secara diagonal kemudian sampel tanah di kompositkan. Parameter dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tekstur, bobot isi, pH, C-organik, N-total, P-tersedia, K-tersedia, kejenuhan basa (KB) dan Kapasitas Tukar Kation (KTK). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tanah di lokasi areal terbuka bekas PETI bertekstur pasir berdebu sedangkan di areal perkebunan kelapa sawit bekas PETI bertekstur pasir, bobot isi di areal terbuka bekas PETI 1,29 g/cm dan di areal perkebunan sawit senilai 1,22 g/cm, pH di areal terbuka dan perkebunaan kelapa sawit antara 4,17 % - 4,51% dengan kriteria tergolong sangat masam, C-organik kedua lokasi antara 0,53% - 0,8% dengan kriteria tergolong sangat rendah, N-total kedua lahan lokasi antara 0,07% - 0,92% dan tergolong sangat rendah, P-tersedia kedua lokasi penelitian antara 14,15 – 8,08 (ppm) dengan kriteria tergolong sangat rendah hingga rendah, K-tersedia kedua lokasi antara 0,03 - 0,04 cmol (+)kg1 dan tergolong sangat rendah, KTK di kedua lokasi antara 4,64– 6,87 cmol (+)kg1 dan tergolong sangat rendah hingga rendah, dan kejenuhan basa (KB) di kedua lokasi antara 13,33% - 9,75% yang tergolong sangar rendah. Hasil perhitungan kebutuhan pupuk dilokasi penelitian pada areal terbuka 4,3 kg urea/pohon, SP-36 3,4 kg/pohon, KCl 2,7 kg/pohon dan areal perkebunan kelapa sawit Urea 3,2 kg/pohon, SP-36 3,7 kg/pohon, KCl 2,9 kg/pohon.   Kata Kunci:Areal Terbuka, Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit, PETI, Sifat Fisika dan                             Kimia Tanah.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu serangga predator adalah Menochilus sexmaculatus Fabrisius (Coccinellidae : Coleoptera) dan memiliki keperedian yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menegtahui keperidian  M. sexmaculatus dengan perlakuan jumlah pakan yang berbeda. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) terdiri dari 3 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan berupa pemberian pakan dengan jumlah yang berbedaan yakni : 10, 40, dan 80. Penelitian dengan rancangan digunakan untuk melihat perbedaab jumlah pakan terhadap keperidian M. sexmaculatus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan M. sexmaculatus yang dipelihara dengan pakan A. craccivoramampu berkembang dan menghasilkan telur terbanyak 138,83/hari, dengan ukuran telur paling besar pada perlakuan P3 yaitu 9,82 µm, lama peneluran/umur peneluran 8-16 hari, dan persentase telur menetas tertinggi  76,24%/hari. Pemberian pakan 80 ekor pakan menghasilkan telur sehat dan kuantitas terbaik pada M. sexmaculatus.   Kata kunci : Keperidian, M. sexmaculatus, pakan.

Abstract

This research is carried on in the Village of Toho Hilir Sub-District Toho Regency Mempawah in three difrent land us, the is Crop, Bare Land and the Community Forest The purpose of this research is to know the Nutrient status of elements N,P,K, C-Organic, AL-Exchangable, CEC and Base Saturation. The point observation of this research using a system of diagonal and random with 5 spot observations of the Crops Cultivated and Forest, with depth 0-30 cm. Result of soil analysis showed that pH of the soil in the Crop Cultivated Land, Bare Land, Community Forest is high C-Organic in Land categorized as low, Bare Land is medium Crop and Community Forest is medium, N-Total in Crop Land is categorized as medium, Bare Land is medium and Community Forest also medium criteria, available phosfor on Crop Land very high, Bare Land high and Community Forest are high criteria, potassium Exchange in Crop Land is categorized as low, Bare Land including low criteria and Community Forest including low criteria, AL-Exchangable in Crop Plant Land very low in criteria, Bare Land very low and Community Forest low, CEC in Crop Land is categorized as low, Bare Land low and Community Forest low and base saturation in Crop Land is categorized as low, Bare Land very low and Community Forest very low.Keywords : Community Forest, Bare Land, Palawija, Soil Chemical Properties

Abstract

The durian peel can be used as bokashi material. This study aims to find the best dosage of durian peel bokashi on the growth and yield of red okra plants in alluvial soil. The study was conducted at Experiment Garden of Agriculture Faculty , Tanjungpura University. The research was started from May 20 to August 2, 2019. This study was used CRD (Completaly Randomized Design) method with 5 treatments, 5 replications and each treatments consists of 4 samples, there were 100 experiment units. The observed data were analyzed statistically by using Analysis of Variant (ANOVA), then continued by honestly significance diffirence (HSD) at 5% level. The result of this study showed that the durian peel bokashi with 270 g/polybag dosage could increased plant height at 5 WAP (Weeks after planting), number of fruit per plant and fruit weight per plant.Keywords: Durian peel bokashi, dosage, red okra, alluvial soil

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendapatan dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usaha perikanan tangkap di Kecamatan Muara Pawan. Responden pada penelitian ini berjumlah 75 responden. Analisis data menggunakan model fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglass.Hasil dari analisis pendapatan menunjukan rata-rata pendapatan usaha perikanan tangkap sebesar Rp.1.279.656 per trip melaut. Hasil analisis fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglass menunjukan bahwa faktor lama melaut, jumlah alat tangkap dan jumlah ABK berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan usaha perikanan tangkap.Sedangkan faktor jarak tempuh tidak berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan usaha perikanan tangkap.Kata Kunci : Pendapatan, Cobb-Douglass, Usaha Perikanan Tangkap.

Abstract

Phytophthora capsici is the causal agent of foot rot, the most destructive disease of pepper in Indonesia and difficult to control. DAS-ELISA test to protect Phytophthora antigens based on antibodies that are very useful for protected plants can only be used up to the genus. This study was aimed to determine the sensitivity of Double Antibody Sandwich Enzyme Linked Immunosorbent Assay (DAS-ELISA) to detect stem rot disease (Phytophthora capsici) in each part of pepper plants (leaves, stems, and pure isolats) with different serial dilutions.The study was done at Laboratorium Balai Karantina Pertanian Kelas I Pontianak. The sensitivity limit for each sample part of the pepper plant was tested through the dilution stage of the plant extract. The results of the sensitivity limits for each sample are different. Samples of the leaves and stems of pepper plants showed positive results of Phytopththora capsici at dilution rates of 100 and 10-1. Whereas in pure isolats positive results of P. capsici were detected until the dilution rate of 10-3.  Keywords : Phytophthora capsici, ELISA, dilution

Abstract

Ultisols has an advanced degree of development, characterized by deep profil, increase of clay fraction along with the depth of soil, soil acidity, and low base saturation. Low pH, low nutrient elements such as nitrogen, phosphor, and potassium, low availability of organic carbon, Ca, Mg, Na, cation exchange capacity (CEC), base saturation are the characteristic of post bauxite mining land. The land that was formerly bauxite mining process by removing of a layer of top soil until the layer that contains the seeds of bauxite called post bauxite mining land. Coastal sediment is sediment which contains quite high micro nutrients with low CEC so by the addition of coastal sediment expected to increase base saturation and soil fertility. Cow manure is one of the alternative to improve the fertility of the soil. This study get analyzed by Complete Randomize Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications. A Treatment (control), B treatment (1.5 kg coastal sediment + 2.5 kg of manure), C treatment (2.4 kg coastal sediment + 4 kg of manure), the last D treatment (3.3 kg coastal sediment + manure). This research analyzed with the F test, if significant continued with Tukey’s Honestly Significant Difference (HSD) at the 5% level to obtain the difference between treatments. Based on the result, combination of Coastal sediment and cow manure from the C treatment (2.4 kg coastal sediment + 4 kg manure) able to increase pH of soil up to 6.68, which is the highest pH among the other treatments. Keywords : Ultisols, coastal sediment, cow manure, bauxite mining.
