Abstract

Watch learning is learning delivered by an educator without using any teaching aids. However, students usually do not understand the delivery. In addition, there is SKI learning which covers the history of Islam in the past, the explanation of which is enough to make students abstract. This will create learning that cannot be captured by students. The aim of this research is to improve educators in conveying an explanation and to increase students' understanding or competence in a new concept by requiring a teaching aid. The method used in this research is the literature study method. The results of this discussion include the smart box tool, which is a learning medium that will make students understand SKI learning in class III better. With this, learning in class III can become effective learning.

Abstract

Character education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah plays a crucial role in shaping students in the modern era. One approach that can be taken is through skill-based learning, which enriches and develops the dimensions of students' characters. This research aims to explore the urgency of skill-based learning in shaping the character of students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in the modern era. This study employs qualitative analyses. Participants in the research include Madrasah Ibtidaiyah students as samples, with data collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires. Data analysis is conducted by comparing the development of students' characters before and after the implementation of skill-based learning. The research findings indicate that skill-based learning has a positive impact on the development of students' characters. They not only acquire additional skills but also show improvement in aspects such as leadership, cooperation, and resilience. These findings illustrate that skill-based learning is significantly relevant in responding to the demands of the modern era. In the context of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, the implementation of skill-based learning can be an effective strategy in preparing students to face the complexities of the modern world. Therefore, efforts to incorporate skill-based learning into the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah curriculum should be a priority, with a focus on sustainability and adaptability to the changing times. Abstract

Abstract Character education is the most important to be internalized in children, especially in this millenial era. Drum band extracurricular activities that are mostly liked by students can be an activity to internalize the character of the discipline. The purpose of this research is to explain the character education of students through drum band extracurricular activities at MI Salafiyah Kalirandu Pemalang. The method used by researchers is descriptive field research using a qualitative approach. The results of this study are (a) Character education in extracurricular drum band runs with reference to school work programs, training activities include the formation and development of character values, as well as monitoring and evaluation by the Principal, Coaches, and Trainers. (b) Character value education in this activity includes faith, honesty, discipline, hard work, independence, friendship, and responsibility. (c) The driving factor for this activity is good cooperation between the Principal, presenters, supervising teachers, and parents. The inhibiting factors come from the limitations of school facilities and infrastructure and from the students themselves. Keywords: Drum Band, Extracurricular, Character Education, Student

Abstract

In the midst of the dynamics of Indonesian education, learning evaluation plays a very important role. Evaluations not only measure student achievement, but also identify effective teaching methods. The success of teaching is not only seen from the learning outcomes achieved by students, but also in terms of the process. To determine the success of learning objectives, an educator needs to carry out learning evaluations. In conducting evaluations, teachers are given the freedom to determine their own form of evaluation used. There are many types of evaluation tools in learning such as multiple choice, essays, matching and many more. The aim of this evaluation is to make it easier for a teacher to carry out a task or achieve a goal effectively and efficiently. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of using essays as a learning evaluation. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The technique used in data collection was an interview with one of the 4th grade teachers at MIN 2 Palangka Raya City. The research results show that the use of essays in mathematics subjects in grade 4 is more effective than using other forms of evaluation. Because, students can be invited to think more critically in working on the questions given, so that students can solve them well.

Abstract

This research aims to implementation of Make A Match learning model by giving rewards. This research uses a quantitative method with Pre-Experimental Designs. The research design used is Pre-Experiment One Group Pre-test Post-test Designs, in this design there is a Pre-test before and a Post-test after being given treatment. The research results showed that 62.825% were successful in implementing the Make A Match learning model with giving rewards, and 56.45% had an effect on students' interest in learning. Meanwhile, the pre-test and post-test results were based on the t-test with a significance level of ∝= 0.05, obtained t-test = 6.66 and t-table = 1.72. Because t-test > t-table, is 6.66 > 1.72, H0 is rejected, thus H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that there is an impact of the Make A Match learning model by giving rewards on the learning interest students. These results can be seen from the results of student achievements based on research conducted using data collection techniques both from the results of questionnaires and the results of the Pre-test Post-test. Abstract

The problem addressed in this study is the persistent lack of student achievement in understanding the water cycle material. The research objective is to examine the role of instructional aids on students' learning outcomes regarding the water cycle material in the science class of fifth grade at MIN 6 Banda Aceh. The research design employed is a pre-experimental design in the form of Pretest and Posttest, which is an experiment involving only one class as the experimental group without a control group. The subjects of this study were 39 fifth-grade students, and data collection methods used were tests and observation sheets. Data analysis was conducted by comparing students' scores from the test results with the Minimum Completeness Criteria (MCC) set by the school, which is 80. The results indicate that the use of instructional aids can enhance learning outcomes in the water cycle material. This is evidenced by the increase in the number of students who meet the MCC from pre-cycle to cycle II. In cycle I, there were still 12 students who did not achieve the MCC. Understanding the material and concepts of the water cycle with the use of instructional aids showed better learning outcomes compared to before using them. Therefore, it can be recommended that instructional aids be used as an alternative learning media in science education.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the characteristics of low-grade elementary school students. Characteristic is a term that is often used in a variety of contexts, both in everyday life and in the field of science. Characteristics can refer to distinctive traits or traits that distinguish an object, individual, or phenomenon from others. Lower grade students are students who are in levels one, two, and three with an age range of 6-9 years while for high grade students are at the fourth, fifth and sixth grade levels with an age range of 9-13 years. Lower grade students can be categorized in the early childhood group. Low-grade Elementary School Students have different characteristics from high-grade Elementary School Students. Characteristics of low grade Primary School Students include: there is a strong relationship between physical condition and school performance; likes to praise yourself; if he is unable to complete a task or work, the task or work is considered unimportant; likes to compare himself with other children, if it benefits him; and likes to belittle others.

Abstract

Bullying merupakan perilaku negatif yang dilakukan secara berulang-ulang oleh seseorang atau sekelompok orang secara sadar, baik secara fisik maupun verbal dengan tujuan untuk menyakiti korbannya. Perilaku bullying yang terjadi di MI Ma'arif Cekok Babadan Ponorogo menimbulkan suasana lingkungan yang kurang baik bagi perkembangan emosi dan motivasi belajar siswa. Bentuk-bentuk perilaku bullying di MI Ma'arif Cekok Babadan Ponorogo ada yang bersifat fisik dan non fisik/verbal. Timbulnya perilaku bullying disebabkan oleh masalah-masalah kecil yang berdampak psikososial baik bagi korban, pelaku maupun saksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan bentuk-bentuk perilaku bullying di MI Ma'arif Cekok Babadan Ponorogo; (2) mendeskripsikan dampak perilaku bullying terhadap perkembangan emosi siswa di MI Ma'arif Cekok Babadan Ponorogo; dan (3) mendeskripsikan dampak perilaku bullying terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di MI Ma'arif Cekok Babadan Ponorogo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan model analisis Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana yang meliputi kondensasi data, display data, dan penarikan simpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa (1) bentuk-bentuk perilaku bullying fisik yang terjadi di MI Ma'arif Cekok Babadan Ponorogo yaitu dipukul, disembunyikan, didorong, dan ditarik bajunya. Sedangkan bentuk-bentuk bullying non fisik/verbal yang terjadi yaitu memanggil nama orang tua, mengejek, mengejek, dan menakut-nakuti; (2) dampak perilaku bullying terhadap perkembangan emosi siswa MI Ma'arif Cekok Babadan Ponorogo yaitu korban bullying merasa takut, menangis, diam, sedih, tidak nyaman. Sedangkan pelaku merasa senang dan saksi merasa kasihan; (3) dampak perilaku bullying terhadap motivasi belajar siswa MI Ma'arif Cekok Babadan Ponorogo yaitu kurang konsentrasi saat pembelajaran, kurang memahami materi pembelajaran, siswa tidak bersemangat dalam belajar, dan siswa tidak aktif saat pembelajaran.

Abstract

Juvenile delinquency must be addressed because it has a negative impact on students' learning achievement, because basically this stage of adolescence is where students are looking for their identity. The adolescent stage of growth is still in an unstable position, always making changing decisions. At this teenage age, many students do many new things that they want to try, without knowing whether this will have a good or bad impact on the students. So if the treatment carried out by students is negative, it will have an impact on the students themselves. Thus, this research aims to determine the percentage level between juvenile delinquency and student learning achievement results, so that it can be answered and prevented before there is further improvement. After that, students can pay more attention to all the behavior carried out by students. The research uses quantitative methods with a Likert scale in the form of a questionnaire or questionnaire. The results of research on juvenile delinquency can be addressed and prevented so that there is no further increase.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Akidah Akhlak, khususnya materi Asmaul Husna di kelas V MIS Al-Mansuriyah Kota Subulussalam. Banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menghafal dan memahami makna 99 nama Allah (Asmaul Husna), yang menyebabkan hasil belajar mereka tidak memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan metode Index Card Match, sebuah metode pembelajaran yang melibatkan siswa dalam aktivitas mencocokkan kartu berisi pertanyaan dan jawaban terkait materi yang diajarkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V MIS Al-Mansuriyah dengan jumlah 16 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar, observasi, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus I, persentase siswa yang mencapai nilai KKM adalah 62,5%, dan meningkat menjadi 93,75% pada siklus II. Penerapan metode Index Card Match terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, terutama karena metode ini melibatkan siswa secara aktif dan membuat pembelajaran lebih interaktif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode Index Card Match dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan hafalan siswa terhadap Asmaul Husna.
