Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership and competence on employee performance at the Ministry of PUPR, especially at the Directorate General of Human Settlements. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through distributing questionnaires to 61 respondents who are employees within the Ministry of PUPR. The data obtained were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS 22.0. The results showed that leadership and competence have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Effective leadership is able to increase employee motivation and work direction, while high competence allows employees to complete tasks more efficiently and with quality. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.707 indicates that 70.7% of variations in employee performance can be explained by leadership and competence, while the rest is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The implication of this study is the importance of developing effective leadership and improving employee competencies through training and skills development. In addition, management needs to provide constructive feedback and create a supportive work environment to improve employee performance. This study also has limitations, such as limited samples and research locations, so it is recommended that future research expand the scope of samples and variables studied.

Abstract

Indonesia holds significant potential in the tourism sector due to its rich cultural and natural diversity, including tourist villages that offer unique experiences for visitors. This study aims to examine the influence of customer experience and facilities on revisit intention at Pandan Sili Tourism Village, Jombang. The research employs a quantitative method with data collected through questionnaires. The results of the analysis indicate that customer experience and facilities have a positive and significant impact on revisit intention. Customer experience, encompassing service quality, comfort, and satisfaction, plays a substantial role in creating a lasting impression and enhancing tourists' desire to return. Adequate facilities, such as accessibility, cleanliness, and supporting infrastructure, also play a crucial role in improving visitor comfort. Simultaneously, these two variables contribute significantly, with an R-square value of 0.850, explaining 85% of the variation in revisit intention. These findings are consistent with previous studies, affirming that both customer experience and facilities play a critical role in increasing visitors' intention to return to tourist destinations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Perceived Organizational Support (POS) on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) mediated by organizational commitment. POS represents employees' perception of the support provided by the organization regarding their well-being and contributions. OCB refers to extra-role behaviors that enhance organizational effectiveness. This study employed Partial Least Squares (PLS) as the analysis method, with a sample of 197 employees from PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan. The results indicate that POS has a significant positive effect on OCB, both directly and through organizational commitment as a mediator. Organizational commitment plays a crucial role in strengthening the relationship between POS and OCB. Employees who perceive strong organizational support tend to develop higher organizational commitment, which in turn fosters higher levels of OCB. Factors such as recognition, work environment, and employee well-being contribute to a positive perception of organizational support. The implications of this study highlight the importance of organizations investing in employee welfare, creating a supportive work environment, and implementing policies that recognize and reward high-performing employees. By doing so, organizations can foster greater employee loyalty and extra-role contributions, ultimately driving overall organizational success. Future research could explore additional variables that may further mediate or moderate these relationships.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of ISO 31000:2018 as a strategic framework for risk management at BPJS Ketenagakerjaan during the period 2020-2023. ISO 31000:2018 provides guidelines for designing and managing risks systematically, which is crucial for organizations managing social security funds like BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. This research employs a qualitative approach using secondary data obtained from the annual integrated reports of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan during the study period. The findings indicate that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has successfully identified, analyzed, and managed risks more effectively through the implementation of ISO 31000:2018. This is reflected in the improved management of various risk categories, including strategic risk, market risk, liquidity risk, credit risk, operational risk, reputational risk, information technology risk, legal risk, and compliance risk. Additionally, the increase in the risk maturity value from 2.82 in 2020 to 3.94 in 2023 indicates that BPJS Ketenagakerjaan has become more mature in its risk management practices. This study also provides recommendations for future research, such as in-depth analysis of specific risk categories and the use of new technologies in risk management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived usefulness and ease of use on the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in accounting among accounting students in Palembang. The research addresses the issue of low readiness and limited understanding of AI technology among students, despite its growing importance in modern accounting practices. A quantitative approach was applied using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), with regression analysis conducted through SmartPLS based on responses from 244 participants. The results indicate that perceived usefulness has a positive and significant effect on AI adoption (coefficient = 0.371; p = 0.000), as does perceived ease of use (coefficient = 0.286; p = 0.004). These findings suggest that the more useful and user-friendly the technology is perceived to be, the more likely students are to adopt AI. Thus, educational institutions should enhance students’ technological understanding and skills through AI-integrated curricula and training programs.
